In umgekehrter Richtung wird der Hebel 17 von der Riffelwalze 14 fort verstellt.Die Keile 24,25 sitzen auf Links-und Rechtsgewindeabschnitten einer Verstellwelle 29, die von einem Motor 30 über ein Getriebe 31 angetrieben werden kann. An der Getriebewelle 32 ist ferner ein Meßwertgeber 33 angebracht. Mit Hilfe einer automatischen Steuerung kann die jeweilige Position der Keile 24, 25 eingestellt werden. Der Meßwertgeber 33 gibt die jeweilige Position der Welle 29 und damit der Keile 24, 25 wieder. Deren Position bestimmt die Spaltbreite.
