- the contact sections and the conductor sections are each arranged at an angle to one another.
- the contacts are bent in the same direction in the transition region between the conductor section and the contact section.
- transition regions of the contacts of a plurality of first contacts have a different course in the respective parallel planes than the remaining second contacts, wherein first and second contacts can not be combined into contact pairs.
- the transition areas of the first contacts are spaced from the transition areas of the second contacts in a direction parallel to the parallel course of the conductor sections.
- US Pat. No. 5,647,770 discloses an insert for an RJ45 socket, in which the contacts of a contact pair are crossed in a horizontal direction.
- the contacts each have terminal portions for connecting terminal wires, contact portions for engaging with contact portions of a mating connector, and a conductor portion connecting the terminal portions to the contact portions.
- the contact portions are arranged in mutually parallel first planes.
- a bend is provided, through which the contact sections are at an angle of approximately 45 ° to the conductor sections.
- the crossover of the contacts of the contact pair is formed symmetrically.
- the crossed contacts are arranged in different planes, so that the conductor sections seen in the vertical direction do not overlap.
- US Pat. No. 5,779,503 discloses an insert for an RJ45 socket, in which a total of four contact pairs are provided, the contacts of three contact pairs being crossed over. The upper crossing is placed in the transition region between conductor sections and contact sections of the contacts. All three crossings are identical and symmetrical.

- the transition region has a first bend of about 135 °, which is followed by an angling in the opposite direction by about 45 ° and finally by another bend by about 50 °.
- the two different contact formations are used within a contact pair.
- US Pat. No. 6,217,392 B1 discloses an insert for an RJ 45 socket, in which the contacts are embedded in a plastic block in a region in which the distance between the contacts is at least partially increased. A crossover of contacts is not provided.
- an electrical connector for data technology is to be created in which a simple structure crosstalk between contact pairs is reduced even at high transmission frequencies.
- an electrical connector for data technology in particular an RJ45 socket, provided with a plurality of arranged in at least three contact pairs contacts, each having a connection portion, a contact portion for engagement with contacts of another electrical connector and a conductor portion having the Connecting portion connects to the contact portion, wherein the contact portions are arranged in mutually parallel first planes, all conductor sections at least partially parallel to each other, the conductor sections and the contact sections of each contact are arranged at an angle to each other and all contacts are bent in the same direction in the transition region between the conductor section and contact area in which the contacts are designed differently in at least two different contact pairs, wherein the transition regions of contacts at least two different n contact pairs between conductor portion and contact portion in the respective first planes have a mutually different course and in which the transition regions of contacts at least three different contact pairs in a direction parallel to the conductor sections are spaced from each other.
- the contacts of at least two pairs of contacts are formed differently, a significant improvement of the crosstalk behavior is achieved. Since the transition regions of at least two contact pairs have a different profile, the transition regions of different contact pairs between contact sections and conductor sections are not aligned with one another, thereby reducing near-end crosstalk between contact pairs. Furthermore, the transition areas of at least three different contact pairs spaced apart in a direction parallel to the conductor sections and in the common plane. These measures also prevent the transition regions between conductor sections and contact sections of different contact pairs from being aligned with one another, as a result of which the crosstalk between contact pairs can be reduced. According to an advantageous development, three different contact configurations are provided at three different contact pairs, in which case the transition regions have a different course in the case of three contact pairs.
- the contacts of a contact pair are crossed at least three contact pairs, wherein between different contact pairs at least two different crossover angles are selected.
- the contact portions of different pairs of contacts with plugged, matching connector are not arranged lying in a common plane.
- the contact sections of different contact pairs extend both in the relaxed state and in the state with a connector plugged into the RJ45 socket, they are out of alignment with each other, which positively affects crosstalk performance.
- the contacts are fixed in a plastic insert by embedding at least the crossings of contacts.
- the contacts can be securely fixed. Distances of the contacts to one another are exactly maintained in the area of the crossovers and do not change over the lifetime of the electrical connector due to the embedding. In particular, the predetermined distances are maintained, even if the contact portions by inserting a suitable connector spring.
- the contacts can be encapsulated in the region of the crossovers. The encapsulation of the contacts is advantageously carried out during the production of the plastic insert in the same operation.
- the plastic insert with the contacts in a housing is designed to be inserted, wherein the plastic insert and / or the housing have at least one locking element for fixing the plastic insert in a predetermined position in the housing.
- the plastic insert can be easily mounted in a plastic housing and thereby securely attached to this.
- the locking elements are arranged in the region of a guide rail or guide groove on the plastic insert.
- contacts 1 to 8 In the illustrations of FIGS. 1 to 4, a total of eight contacts 1 to 8 can be seen.
- the contacts 1 and 2, the contacts 3 and 6, the contacts 4 and 5 and the contacts 7 and 8 are each a pair of contacts.
- Each contact 1 to 8 has a connection portion 10 for connecting connection cables or for connecting to a printed circuit board, a contact portion 12 for engagement with contacts of a matching RJ45 connector and a conductor portion 14, the respective terminal portion 10 and the respective contact portion 12 together combines.
- the contact portions 12 are at an angle of about 45 ° to the conductor portions 14.
- the contacts are each bent, the contacts alternately up or down are cranked. For example, in the illustration of Fig. 1, the contact 1 is bent upwards, where is bent against the contact 2 down.
- connection sections 10 are crossed with each other, namely the contacts 1 and 2 of the first contact pair, the contacts 4 and 5 of the third contact pair and the contacts 7 and 8 of the fourth contact pair.
- FIGS. 2 and 3 it can be seen that all contact sections 12 extend in mutually parallel first planes.
- Fig. 1 it can be seen that all conductor sections 14 extend in sections in a common second plane.
- transition regions between the conductor sections 14 and the contact sections 12 are designed differently between different contact pairs, and these transition regions are additionally arranged offset between different contact pairs.
- the transition regions of the contacts 3 and 6 of the second contact pair are from the transition regions of the contacts 1 and 2 of the first contact pair and the transition regions of the contacts 7 and 8 of the fourth Contact pair and spaced from the transition regions of the contacts 4 and 5 of the third contact pair.
- transition regions of the contacts 1 and 2 of the first contact pair and the transition regions of the contacts 7 and 8 of the fourth contact pair are spaced in this direction from the transition regions of the contacts 4 and 5 of the third contact pair, the transition regions of the first, second and third contact pair in the view of Fig. 1 not with each other. In the view of FIG. 1, only the transition regions of the first and the fourth contact pair are aligned with one another.
- transition regions of the first and fourth and of the second and third are Contact couple designed differently.
- the transition region of the contacts 4 and 5 of the third contact pair is designed comparatively acute-angled.
- the transition regions of the contacts 1 and 2 and the contacts 7 and 8 have a rounded course. An even greater radius of curvature, the transition regions of the contacts 3 and 6.
- the contact sections 12 of the contacts 1, 2 or 7, 8 and the contact sections of the contacts 3 to 6 are not in a common plane. This is due to the above-described, different position and design of the transition regions of the individual contact pairs. As can be seen, this applies in the relaxed position of the contacts 1 to 8 shown in Fig. 1. Due to the staggered arrangement of the transition regions of the individual contacts 1 to 8 but this also applies in the tensioned state of the contacts 1 to 8, when the contact areas 12 are depressed by contacts of a matching RJ45 connector. By the contact areas of the contact pairs are not aligned even in the tensioned state, the crosstalk behavior is positively influenced.
- the contacts are formed differently in all four contact pairs. Within each pair of contacts, the contacts are also formed differently.
- the contacts 1 and 8, 2 and 7 and 3 and 6 are formed symmetrically to a median plane.
- the contacts 1 to 8 are arranged in a plastic insert 20.
- the contacts 1 to 8 are encapsulated in the production of the plastic insert 20 and thereby embedded in sections thereof.
- the conductor sections 14 of the individual contacts are in the region of the crossovers as well as in a further region of the conductor sections 14 overmoulded.
- the contacts 1 to 8 are securely and immovably fixed in the plastic insert 20.
- the plastic insert 20 can be inserted into a housing having a matching for a RJ45 connector recess.
- FIG. 5 shows that the conductor sections of the individual contacts 1 to 8 are injected into the plastic insert 20 substantially as far as the transition region to which the conductor sections pass into the contact sections 12.
- this is provided on both sides each with a guide rail 22.
- the guide rails 22 engage in matching guide grooves in a dashed line in Fig. 6 indicated housing 30 and are each provided with a detent 24.
- the two guide rails 22 and the locking lugs 24 are clearly visible, which engage in matching grooves or recesses in the housing 30. It is also easy to see that the conductor sections 14 are embedded directly into the transition region to the contact sections 12 in the plastic material of the plastic insert 20.
- the plastic insert 20 for example, a nose 26, which extends over the crossover region of the contacts 4 and 5.
- the plastic insert is withdrawn to also embed the contacts 3 and 6 only to their crossover area.
- Two projections 28 are provided on the plastic insert 20 to embed the contacts 1 and 2 or 7 and 8 up to their transition region.
- connection sections 10 can assume any desired angular position and be angled, for example, by 90 ° in order to achieve an insertion direction parallel to a circuit board.
