Definitions
- the invention relates to a system for practicing alpine winter sports, in particular alpine skiing, snowboarding or the like, consisting of a ski or snowboard, a binding mounted on the ski or snowboard, a binding mounted on the ski or snowboard and shoes which can be fastened in the binding. which have a sole area and a shaft area.
- Such systems are known from the prior art, which are formed from a pair of skis, a two-part binding screwed onto the skis and correspondingly rigid shoes, the rigidity of the shoes allowing the skier to transmit power to the skis for controlling the like.
- the binding consists of a first binding part arranged in the toe region and a second binding part arranged in the heel region, whereby today's safety bindings for the first binding part enable the boot to be released laterally and possibly also at right angles to the surface of the ski when certain forces are reached, which can lead to a skier's leg injury if exceeded.
- the binding part arranged in the heel area of the shoe can have corresponding degrees of freedom.
- the rigidity of the shoes limits the comfort of the shoes very much, which occurs in particular when the skier has to walk with the shoes to the lift system, for example.
- the rigid sole of such a ski boot hinders the anatomically required rolling of the toe, so that a long walk in these shoes is very uncomfortable and tiring.
- An inline skater is also known from WO 98/30294, which consists of a shoe having a sole and a plurality of rolling elements arranged in the area of the sole, which are rotatably supported in the longitudinal direction of the sole in bearing blocks, the axes of the Rolling elements run at right angles to the longitudinal direction of the sole, the pedestals with the rolling elements elements are part of a receiving element and the shoe is releasably attached to the receiving element.
- the shoe at least in the area of the sole, has a stiffening element which is designed to be flexible in terms of shape and / or material in the usual rolling direction of a foot and is approximately ideally rigid and / or tough in the opposite direction.
- the invention is based on the objective of creating a generic system which avoids the disadvantages of the prior art described above and in particular does justice to the required comfort aspects when handling the system and the individual components.
- the solution to this problem provides that a flexible element is arranged in the sole area of the shoe, which allows a foot arranged in the shoe to roll off normally, and which can be stiffened when the shoe is connected to the binding, and that the binding is simple on the Ski or snowboard can be detachably mounted and fixed, so that binding and boot form a modular, separable unit that can be used on different skis and / or snowboards.
- the system according to the invention thus has the advantage that the combination of a shoe designed according to the invention and described in more detail below with regard to its features and the binding also according to the invention offers the possibility that on the one hand the comfort requirements of the skiers with regard to running with the shoes and at the same time the practice of skiing can be significantly improved.
- the ski can be offered as a pure tread and wearing part
- the ski is manufactured in a standardized way and can be kept and loaned in depots at winter sports locations.
- the exchange of the ski can be done relatively quickly and easily, so that the skier now only carries his binding and his ski boots, which are improved in comfort, so that he can choose one that suits his needs, in particular performance and desire, quickly and easily its binding can be equipped.
- the flexible element in the shoe is designed as an insert which is embedded in a preferably made of polyurethane sole of the shoe and which is clamped and stiffened in the longitudinal axis direction when the shoe is inserted into the binding.
- the flexible element together with the sole made of polyurethane, enables the shoe to be rolled off easily. If the shoe is inserted into the binding, it is held in the toe and heel area in such a way that the flexible element is stiffened due to the tension generated in the longitudinal axis direction, so that the properties of a ski shoe that are usually known are available for controlling the ski. In this state, neither the flexible element nor the sole of the shoe are flexible.
- the flexible element can be designed and arranged in such a way that the shoe is stiffened both in the sole area and in the at least lower shaft area of the shoe by the connection with the binding.
- the flexible element in the heel region can be pulled up into the upper region, it also being possible to pull the flexible element into a region of the outer side shaft of the shoe.
- the stiffening of the elastic element in the shoe can be manipulated from outside the shoe via an adjusting element. The skier can hereby decide whether to preselect a certain rigidity of the boot, which is further increased when the boot is connected to the binding.
- the shoe has recesses in the sole area, which allow the foot to roll off and can be stiffened in the opposite direction in the rolling direction by mass inhibition and in connection with the elastic element.
- the roll-off of the shoe is achieved by shaping measures, namely recesses in combination with the material property of the stiffenable flexible element.
- the recesses are connected to one another with an injected elastomer which has sufficient flexibility so that the rolling properties of the shoe are not restricted too much. This is preferably done in a two-component spraying process.
- Such a shoe then has a factory-set flexibility. Different elastomers can be provided in the factory in order to be able to offer, for example, shoes of different characteristics, in particular for beginners, advanced and / or perfect skiers. The elastomer essentially fills the recesses.
- the sole area has a frame which is interrupted in the area of the flexibility required for rolling the foot.
- the advantage of the frame is that the sole area of the shoe has high stability despite being able to be rolled off, which is suitable for combining the shoe with conventional bindings.
- the shoe can then have the usual projections in the toe area and in the heel area, which cooperate with the two-part bindings usually mounted on the skis.
- the shoe can therefore NEN rigid, interrupted by a flexible area, in this area flexible frame, which is arranged only in the area of the necessary connections for binding in the area of the forefoot, in particular the toe ball area.
- a soft area in the forefoot designed in this way on the one hand allows the foot to roll in the shoe and, on the other hand, this configuration can be advantageous in conjunction with a damping element to be described.
- an asymmetrical shaft is provided.
- the shaft is divided into a higher area that lies against the inside of the leg and a shorter area that lies against the outside of the leg.
- the forces required to control the ski in a controlled manner can be better transferred to the system via the higher interior area.
- the shoe consists of an outer shell made of rigid plastic with the appropriate elements to allow the foot to roll off.
- the shoe is made of lightweight, water-repellent fabrics and / or leather-like materials in order to improve the overall wearing comfort with regard to the weight of the shoe.
- An adapter element which is detachably attached to the shoe, can be provided between the shoe and the binding.
- the sole element on the sole is designed asymmetrically to indicate a simple and in any case applicable attachment to the shoe or to the binding.
- the adapter element can be connected on the sole side to the shoe and can also extend into the upper region. It is further provided that this adapter element can remain on the binding.
- the adapter element preferably has clips which engage in corresponding openings with holding elements of the shoe.
- the adapter element has a flat construction and has a side or heel-side, non-self-releasing entry lock which, on the one hand, enables attachment to the shoe and, on the other hand, release from the shoe by means of a lever on the heel or side.
- the adapter element can also replace the flexible element in the shoe, insofar as the flexibility of the shoe sole is eliminated and the shoe is stiffened via the adapter element.
- the adapter element interacts with the flexible element in a corresponding manner, ie in a stiffening manner.
- the entire unit consisting of the shoe and the adapter element, is triggered.
- the skier has a stiff shoe known to him on the foot, the running properties of which are severely restricted due to the lack of unrollability.
- the adapter element still located on the shoe can then be used again in conventional bindings, for which purpose the adapter element has corresponding connections in the form of projections.
- the adapter element can remain in the binding.
- the connection between the shoe and the adapter element can preferably be formed via clips and hooks, the adapter element, for example, having the clips and the sole of the shoe, for example the hooks, into which the clips engage to stiffen the shoe.
- locks can be provided which prevent rapid removal of one part from the other.
- the adapter element has the advantage that in this way the new and erfindungsge- Permitted system is combinatorial ⁇ nable with existing bonds conventional design.
- the aim should be to use the system according to the invention in such a way that the bond connection areas are reduced as much as possible.
- the binding is arranged on a damping element which can be connected to the ski.
- the binding and / or the damping element can preferably be pushed onto the ski in order to enable the combination of binding and / or damping element to be changed as quickly and easily as possible.
- the binding and / or the damping element are fixed on the ski either by means of a profiled surface which, for example, has an undercut projection, and / or on profiled side surfaces of the ski.
- the binding and / or the damping element can be moved in the longitudinal direction of the ski and can be adjusted to user-specific requirements.
- the binding and / or the damping element is fixed in the longitudinal direction of the ski by means of a bolt.
- the damping element preferably has a length that is insignificantly greater than the length of the binding.
- the damping element can also have an arcuate design on the bottom, which does not partially stiffen the ski, but rather allows homogeneous flexibility, combined with a harmonious deflection of the ski, even under the binding.
- the binding or the adapter element is arranged as completely as possible below the sole of the shoe.
- the binding is in particular multi-part and adjustable in length in order to be able to adapt it to different shoes, for example, which can be particularly advantageous for growing skiers when they have to use larger shoes due to the growth of the feet.
- Two pliers are preferably provided, the spacing of which can be adjusted in order to accommodate several sizes of the shoes. to be able to take. These pliers grip binding clips, which are arranged in recesses in the sole of the shoe or the adapter element.
- the binding is simply pushed onto the ski together with a damping element and locked in place with a bolt.
- the ski is then prepared for the practice of skiing, with the skier now still getting into the corresponding binding with his shoes and, at the same time, being able to use an advantageous shoe with regard to the rolling comfort.
- the properties of the ski can be adapted to the wishes of the skier via the damping element.
- certain parameters of the skier such as ability, speed ranges and weight, can be set here.
- the damping element is designed as an element which can be inserted in the molded or milled or otherwise produced profiles of the ski surface or the side surfaces and which, in its mode of operation, can dampen the vibration behavior of the ski.
- a longitudinal displacement relative to the ski serves to further vary the characteristics of the ski.
- the damping element can be manufactured in different lengths and hardnesses and can be adjusted and locked in the longitudinal direction of the ski.
- the damping element influences the vibration behavior of the ski, whereby the damping element conveys a new driving sensation due to the contact with the soft, sensitive forefoot and rear area of the shoe, which is accompanied by the possibility of influencing through active control of the vibration and the flexibility of the ski.

- the system according to the invention has the essential advantage that the sole 5 of the shoe 3 transfers the static, dynamic and ergonomic functions necessary for the controlled skiing to the preferred points of the ski 1.
- the rigid plastics of shoe 3 are reduced to the extent necessary to achieve strength.
- the rest of the shoe consists of water-repellent light fabrics and / or leather-like materials, which are similar to a so-called soft boot.
- the elements stiffening the shoe 3, in particular the flexible element 7, which is flexible when walking outside the binding 2, are fixed by the entry of the shoe into the binding 2 and transform the soft design of the shoe 3, which enables the foot to roll off, into one rigid design. This is achieved by locking the element 7 stiffening the shoe 3 in cooperation with the binding 2 or the adapter element 17.
- Another embodiment provides for the stiffening of the flexible element 7 by snapping the shoe 3 into the binding 2.
- the asymmetrical design of the shoe 3 on the inside small contact surfaces between the shoes 3 are created so that a narrow ski ⁇ management is made possible.
- the shoe 3 has an ergonomically optimally positioned joint in the area of the ankle, which means that a template adjustment can be integrated and walking comfort can be improved.
- Static and damping functions which change the design of the system, in particular of the ski, are shifted in the system according to the invention into an area outside of the shoe 3, in particular into the connection area between the shoe 3 and the ski 1.
- the binding 2 and the shoe 3, in particular the connecting elements present in the shoe 3, work together symbiotically. If the shoe 3 is released from the binding 2 or the adapter element 17 is removed from the sole 5 of the shoe 3, not only is the weight of the elements on the foot substantially reduced, but also an ergonomic, anatomically desirable rolling of the foot is made possible ,
- the forces required for the forward and backward position and the lateral stability when skiing are absorbed by rigid assemblies integrated into the boot, which can also be stiffened via the flexible element 7 or the adapter element 17 and the binding 2.
- the lateral forces to be transmitted to the ski 1 are ensured by a central heel element and the design of the sole 5 of the boot 3 in connection with the adapter element 17 in the forefoot and midfoot.
- the corresponding connecting elements of the shoe 3 and the adapter element 17 snap into one another.
- recesses are provided on the sole 5 of the shoe 3 and 17 clips are provided on the part of the adapter element, which engage with one another.
- a heel-side tensioning lever 19 is provided in order to be able to produce the necessary tension between the shoe 3 and the adapter element 17 with little effort.
- the forefoot is locked in place by a hook-in-hook design of the sole 5 of the shoe and the adapter element 17.
- the shaft area 6 of the shoe engages with its base and possibly also with higher areas in corresponding sponding recesses of the adapter element, whereby the rigidity of the Soh ⁇ len ceremoniess 5 of the shoe or of the flexible element 7 is secured.
- the handling person can then set the desired template with a central buckle.
- a locking element of the adapter element 17 which engages laterally in the central region of the sole 5 of the shoe 3 interacts with a guided steel band and the tensioning lever 19 of the adapter element 17 which, when actuated, fixes the middle and rear of the shoe 3 on the adapter element 17 releases.
- the front of the shoe 3 is fixed by means of a hook or various undercuts which are arranged in the front area of the shoe 3.
- connection areas of the adapter element 17 for binding 2 can be designed in a similar manner to that which is common today in so-called safety bindings in connection with corresponding ski boots. They can therefore comply with the relevant standards.
- an embodiment with reduced connecting surfaces is preferably provided.
- the re-entry into the binding 2 after the adapter element 17 has been released from the binding 2 takes place in accordance with the known security bindings.
- the comfort function "walking" combined with the ability of the foot to be rolled off in the shoe provides that the adapter element 17 remains in the binding 2.
- a lock can be placed between the adapter element 17 and the binding 2 similar to a shamrock lock on motor vehicle rims.
- the system may comprise a damping element, which can extend over a large length of the ski 1 and in the longitudinal direction of the ski 1 slidably ⁇ is arranged.
- This damping element can be arranged in a concave longitudinal groove, in particular with undercuts within the ski, and acts in the manner of a leaf spring.
- the damping element is locked in the longitudinal direction in the region of the binding 2 by at least one fastening element which is inserted through the top of the damping element and connected to the ski 1.
- Different settings of the damping element are possible through corresponding recesses in the ski 1.
- the damping element with three different hardnesses can be produced as a carbon-kevlar element and offered as an additional element.
- the three different hardnesses allow the running properties of the ski 1 to be varied and in particular to be adapted to the requirements of the skier.
- the transmission of the forces to the ski 1 can be varied via the damping element.
- Another significant advantage of the system according to the invention lies in the very short overall length of the binding 2.
- a short connection area between the binding 2 and the ski 1 is advantageous in that only a small portion of the ski 1 through the binding 2 and the Shoe 3 is stiffened.
- a so-called rocking effect, which is negative for the introduction of force into the ski 1, is compensated for by the damping element described above and further damping elements 4 or vibration dampers 21.
- the adapter element 17, which can be detachably connected to the shoe 3 and stiffens the shoe 3 at least in the sole area 5, can also be used as a connecting element to a snow board, insofar as there is the possibility of a screw connection in this adapter element 17 added to the usual places on a snow board.
