Method for exchanging or insertion of filters, which are arranged above a suction opening of an extractor hood (1) according to one or more of the preceding claims, characterised in that on insertion of the filter cassette (3) initially the at least one strap (6) is introduced into a correspondingly formed recess (7) at the housing (8) of the fume extractor hood (1), whereby subsequently through an articulation-like connection the filter cassette (3) is now already fixed to the housing (8) of the fume extractor hood (1) in such a manner that the filter cassette (3) can no longer fall out and fall down from this position and a subsequent - in particular performable by one hand - pivot movement with locking is carried out in such a manner that the suction opening is covered at least partly by the filter cassette (3).
  10. Method according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the filter cassette (3) is removed only in a region of a predetermined angular setting.
  11. Method according to the preceding claim, characterised in that the filter cassette (3) is removed by slight lifting into this setting with release of the articulation-like connection.
