Description

Filtersystem filter system
The present invention relates to a filter system, in particular for an extractor hood device, according to the type defined in more detail in the preamble of claim 1.
The extractor device is arranged as a hood with shelves and communication devices spaced above the table surface. Furthermore, the extractor device is designed with cleanable filters, which are made of stainless steel, so that they can be cleaned in a simple manner.
From DE 199 62 253 A1 a filter cassette for extractor hood devices is known, in which a grease filter made of non-metallic material is arranged in the vapor flow path between two metal grease filters which are arranged at a distance from one another and which form the top sides of the filter cassette. The metal grease filters are made of expanded metal and each of the two deck sides has at least one layer of expanded metal.
However, this filter cassette for extractor hood devices known from the prior art has the disadvantage that the grease filter has dimensions of very large filter areas such that it can no longer be positioned and washed in conventional dishwashers.
Extractor hood devices or flat screen hoods with a housing and an associated filter system are known from practice, the filter system of which is arranged in a suction area and has at least two filter devices arranged next to one another, which are detachably connected to the housing. Because of their split design, these filter devices also have dimensions, even with larger filter areas, which allow regeneration in conventional dishwashers. However, such extractor devices have the disadvantage that the suction surface of the extractor device facing the suction area has a fluidically unfavorable surface with dead spaces in the joint area of the filter devices due to the filter devices arranged next to one another, which undesirably leads to a deterioration in the filter performance of the extractor device.
The present invention is therefore based on the object of providing a filter system whose filter devices can be regenerated or washed in conventional dishwashing devices and which is designed with a suction-side surface which does not impair the filter performance.
According to the invention this object is achieved with a filter system according to the features of claim 1.
The filter system according to the invention is preferably designed on its suction side with a holding device for holding the filter devices which extends over the suction surface of the filter system and through which the suction air to be filtered can flow and which has an at least approximately aerodynamically optimized surface on the suction side. As a result, the filter performance of the filter system is improved in a simple manner in comparison with filter systems known from practice.
The configuration of the filter system according to the invention advantageously offers the possibility of executing the filter system even with larger filter areas with two or more individual filter devices, which can be regenerated or washed in each case in conventional dishwashers. Due to the holding device upstream of the filter devices in the flow direction of the intake air to be filtered, dead spaces which exist in the joint area between the individual filter devices are covered by the suction device-side surface of the holding device, which is essentially optimized in terms of flow technology, thereby improving the filter device.
Vorteilhafte Ausgestaltungen der Erfindung bilden die Gegenstände der Unteransprüche.Advantageous embodiments of the invention form the subject of the subclaims.
In a preferred development of the object according to the invention which is simple in terms of production technology, the holding device is on its suction side with a Plate executed, which has several through openings. A plate with through openings is on the one hand easy to manufacture and on the other hand has a smooth surface which is neither designed with dead spaces nor with other aerodynamically unfavorable contours.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the holding device, it can be provided that the holding device comprises a frame which at least partially surrounds the plate and is detachably connected to a housing, preferably a housing of an extractor device or a housing of an auxiliary unit assigned to the extractor device. The filter system thus represents an easy-to-use module, which can be removed from the housing as a modular component in one operation for cleaning the filter system or also for maintenance work on an intake device.
Furthermore, the plate can be detachably connected to the frame, which advantageously simplifies cleaning of the filter system, since portions of the plate and the frame in the region of joints between the frame and the plate, which are difficult in the assembled state of the plate in the frame are accessible, can be cleaned in a simple manner in the disassembled state of the holding device.
In order to further improve handling of the filter system, the holding device can be designed with at least one handle device for inserting the holding device into the housing or for removing the holding device from the housing. The handling of the filter system during assembly or disassembly can be further simplified if the handle device is designed with at least one spring-loaded engagement element which can be countersunk in the frame for disassembling the holding device. It is thereby advantageously achieved that the filter system is a module with a small number of components and can be installed in the housing of the extractor device or can be removed from it without additional tools.
An inexpensive design of the holding device is given if the grip device is designed as a cast part at least in some areas. In a simple and functional development of the object according to the invention, the filter devices are designed with a filter element and a frame part, the filter elements preferably being made of expanded metal.
If the filter devices are each designed with at least one handle module for mounting the filter devices in the holding device or for removing the filter devices from the holding device, the assembly or disassembly of the filter system itself is advantageously simplified, with the handle modules of the filter modules being shown in a further advantageous embodiment Filter devices can be implemented with at least one spring-loaded handle element, which can be sunk in the frame parts of the filter devices in order to remove the filter devices.
In order to achieve a particularly secure and robust fastening of the filter devices in the holding device of the filter system, it can be provided that in the assembled state of the filter devices, a form fit is formed between the filter devices and the holding device in some areas, which automatically detaches the filter devices from the holding device, especially when removing the filter system from the housing. This advantageously reduces the risk of injury to an operator while handling the filter system in a simple manner.
The holding device can have a central web between the two filter devices, as a result of which the stability of the filter system is increased in a simple manner, which has a particularly advantageous effect in the case of extractor hood devices designed as flat screen hoods with a pull-out screen.
In Fig. 1, a filter system 1 of an extractor device, not shown, is shown, which is preferably used in kitchens for sucking cooking fumes. The filter system 1 is shown in FIG. 1 in a schematic three-dimensional bottom view, in which a holding device 2 is shown with a plate 3 with a plurality of through openings 4 and a frame 5 surrounding the plate 3. In the present case, the holding device 2 is designed in such a way that the plate 3 on the side of the filter system 1 facing the suction area of the extractor device extends over the entire suction surface of the extractor device and, due to the through openings 4, can be traversed with suction air to be filtered or cooking fumes sucked in.
The through openings 4 are designed in terms of flow technology in their inflow regions for sucked-in air in such a way that a flow of the sucked-in air can be conducted through the plate 3 without turbulence and with only a slight flow resistance. Furthermore, the plate 3 is designed on a surface 15 of the holding device 2 facing the suction area of the extractor device with a smooth, flat and continuous surface which, in comparison to extractor devices known in practice, has suction surfaces with dead spaces or the like, which is advantageous in terms of flow technology Represents design.
So that the filter system 1 can be mounted in a housing of the extractor device in a simple manner, the holding device 2 is designed with two handle devices 6A, 6B, which enable an operator to easily grip the filter system and to operate the extractor device in the housing of the To be able to use an extractor device or to be able to remove it more easily from the housing of the extractor device for cleaning purposes.
The grip devices 6A and 6B are each designed with two spring-loaded engagement elements 7A and 7B, which can be lowered into the frame 5 for dismantling the holding device 2. When disassembling the filter system 1, an operator exercises on one A reversible unlocking mechanism, not shown, of the handle devices 6A and 6B exerts pressure so that the engagement elements 7A and 7B are drawn into the frame 5 and a positive connection between the engagement elements 7A and 7B and the housing of the extractor hood device is eliminated. The filter system 1 can then be removed and cleaned in a simple manner by an operator from the housing of the extractor device without additional tools.
The filter system 1 is designed with two filter devices 8A and 8B, which are arranged next to one another and which are detachably inserted or mounted in the holding device 2 of the filter system 1. The filter devices 8A and 8B are each designed in the manner shown in FIG. 3 with a filter element 13A or 13B and a frame part 12A or 12B, the filter elements 13A and 13B being formed from expanded metal. The filter devices 8A and 8B are provided here as grease filters, which are designed as so-called impact filters. In order to enable easy cleaning of the filter devices 8A and 8B and to ensure a long service life, the filter devices 8A and 8B are made of stainless steel, it being of course at the discretion of the person skilled in the art to manufacture the filter devices 8A and 8B from other suitable materials.
In an embodiment of the filter elements 13A and 13B of the filter devices 8A and 8B made of expanded metal, the holding device 2 connected upstream in the flow direction of the sucked-in cooking vapors ensures that any chips still present in the expanded metal do not fall onto the stove or into the cookware, but from the cooker Holding device be held back.
Between the two filter devices 8A and 8B, the holding device 2 is designed with a central web 9, in which the two filter devices 8A and 8B are inserted in a form-fitting manner via projections 14A and 14B, which are also shown in more detail in FIG. The central web 9 is provided to increase the strength of the holding device 2 and thus also of the entire filter system 1, although it can of course also be provided in a further embodiment of the filter system, not shown, that the holding device 2 is designed without the central web and the two Filter devices are effectively connected to each other at their joint by suitable measures.
On their sides of the filter devices 8A and 8B facing away from the central web 9, the two filter elements 13A and 13B are each designed with handle modules 10A and 10B for assembling and removing the filter devices 8A and 8B. In the present case, the handle modules 10A and 10B are designed in the same way as the handle devices 6A and 6B. The handle modules 10A and 10B each have spring-loaded handle elements 11A and 11B, which can be lowered into the frame parts for dismantling the filter devices 8A and 8B in the frame parts 12A and 12B of the filter devices 8A and 8B via mechanical pushing devices (not shown) which can be actuated by an operator are.
Die geteilte Ausführung der Filtereinrichtungen 8A und 8B gewährleistet, daß die Filtereinrichtungen 8A und 8B selbst bei größeren Filterflächen jeweils Abmessungen aufweisen, die eine Reinigung und Regeneration in herkömmlichen Geschirrspülern ermöglichen.3, a part of the filter system 1 is shown in a schematic longitudinal sectional view, which on the side facing the suction area of the extractor device with a continuous, shapely, visible part, i. H. of the plate 3 and the frame 5 surrounding it in the circumferential direction. From the side facing away from the suction area or the suction surface of the extractor device, the filter system 1 is designed with the two filter devices 8A and 8B inserted into the holding devices 2, which can be removed from the holding device 2 in the manner described above. The split design of the filter devices 8A and 8B ensures that the filter devices 8A and 8B each have dimensions, even with larger filter areas, which enable cleaning and regeneration in conventional dishwashers.
The arrangement of the filter elements 13A and 13B in the frame parts 12A and 12B is shown in more detail in the longitudinal sectional view of the filter system 1. Furthermore, the projections 14A and 14B of the frame parts 12A and 12B are shown, which form a positive connection between the frame 5 of the holding device 2 and the filter devices 8A and 8B in the region of the central web 9 in the assembled state of the filter system 1. On the side of the filter devices 8A and 8B facing away from the projections 14A and 14B, a further positive connection is provided between the frame 5 and the filter devices 8A and 8B, which is carried out by the grip elements 11A and 11B engaging in the frame 5. With this configuration of the filter system 1, the filter Devices 8A and 8B are securely held in the holding device 2 of the filter system 1 and can be dismantled in a simple manner via the handle elements 11A and 11B which can be retracted into the frame parts 12A and 12B of the filter devices 8A and 8B as required. For this purpose, the filter elements 8A and 8B are pivoted out of the frame 5 in the area of the handle modules and then the projections 14A and 14B which cannot be retracted in the frame parts 12A and 12B in this embodiment are pulled out of the central web.
Alternatively, it can also be provided that the filter devices are designed with two handle modules instead of the projections, so that both the handle elements and the projections can be retracted into the frame parts in the manner described above when the filter devices are disassembled, and the filter devices in relation can be removed from the holding device substantially in the vertical direction to the level of the holding device.
In the present case, the handle devices 6A and 6B are designed with cast components in the area which is intended as an engagement area by an operator during assembly or disassembly and are each provided with receiving devices for the handle elements 11A and 11B in the areas facing the filter devices 8A and 8B of the filter devices 8A and 8B. Deviating from this, it can of course also be provided that the receiving devices for the handle elements of the filter devices are integrated in the frame of the holding device.
In a further embodiment of the filter system, not shown, it can also be provided that the filter devices are designed with filter elements with which sucked-in cooking fumes can be cleaned not only of fat, but also of fragrances, aerosols and other organic components, so that the filtered air of an extractor device can be discharged as recirculating air, for example, in the same room in which the extractor device is located or from which it was sucked in. Such a circulating air extractor device can then be used at any location in a company canteen or in a kitchen, since no exhaust air duct or exhaust air chimney is required. As an alternative to the above-described design of the holding device with a flat plate, the filter system according to the invention can of course also be designed with another, preferably spherical or hood-like component, the suction surface of which is fluidically optimized in such a way that a filter performance of the extractor device is not impaired or is improved compared to extractor devices known from practice.
In a further advantageous embodiment of the filter system, which is not shown in any more detail, it can also be provided that the filter system is not positioned in the area of a suction opening of a fume extraction device, but in an auxiliary unit which is connected to the suction area of the fume extraction device via an at least approximately tubular air duct, in which an intake device or a fan unit is also arranged. This ensures, for example, that the extractor device in the intake area, i.e. above a hob, is smaller and easier to carry out, since it only takes on the function of an enlarged inlet opening for the exhaust air to be extracted and filtered.
