Description

    Stand der Technik
  • Die Erfindung betrifft eine Kraftstoffeinspritzpumpe für Brennkraftmaschinen nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.
  • Aus der DE-OS 34 03073 A1 ist eine Einspritzpumpe bekannt bei der der zu fördernde Kraftstoff zur Kühlung durch das Steuergerätgehäuse geleitet wird. In der Praxis hat sich die Erwärmung von elektrischen Bauteilen in dem Steuergerätgehäuse als problematisch erwiesen.
  • Aus der US 4,763,611 ist eine Kraftstoffhochdruckpumpe bekannt, bei der zwischen einem Pumpengehäuse und einem Steuergerätgehäuse ein Hohlraum ausgebildet ist, der von Kraftstoff durchströmt wird. In dem Hohlraum ist ein Füllstück vorhanden, welches den Kraftstoff mäanderförmig durch den Hohlraum und am Steuergerätgehäuse entlang führt.
  • Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, eine ausreichende Kühlung des Steuergerätgehäuses zu gewährleisten, ohne dass im Inneren des Steuergerätgehäuses enthaltene elektronische Bauteile von Kraftstoff umspült werden.
  • Die Aufgabe ist bei einer Kraftstoffeinspritzpumpe für Brennkraftmaschinen nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1, dadurch gelöst, dass in der zum Steuergerätgehäuse gewandten Oberfläche (1) des Füllstücks eine Einlauftulpe (18) ausgebildet ist, die im eingebauten Zustand des Füllstücks mit der Verbindungsleitung im Pumpengehäuse in Verbindung steht.
  • Vorteile der Erfindung
  • Die erfindungsgemäße in der zum Steuergerätgehäuse gewandten Oberfläche des Füllstücks ausgebildete Einlauftulpe, die im eingebauten Zustand des Füllstücks mit der Verbindungsleitung im Pumpengehäuse in Verbindung steht, wirkt als Trichter und sorgt dafür, dass der Kraftstoff oben angesaugt und die Bildung von Luftblasen verhindert wird. Dennoch in dem Hohlraum vorhandene Luft wird mit Hilfe des erfindungsgemäßen Füllstücks in kleinsten Einheiten in dem angesaugten Kraftstoff verteilt. Dadurch wird erreicht, dass die Unterseite des Steuergerätgehäuses im Betrieb kontinuierlich mit Kraftstoff benetzt wird, was zu einer erheblich verbesserten Kühlwirkung führt.
  • Eine besondere Ausführungsart der Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an dem Füllstück eine Maske ausgebildet ist, die im eingebauten Zustand des Füllstücks den Kraftstoffzulauf im Pumpengehäuse umgibt. Die Maske sorgt dafür, dass der Kraftstoff aus dem Kraftstoffzulauf in den Umlenkkanal gelangt. Durch die Maske wird verhindert, dass der Kraftstoff in Form einer Art Kurzschlussströmung auf direktem Weg von dem Kraftstoffzulauf zu der Verbindungsleitung gelangt.
  • Eine weitere besondere Ausführungsart der Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Umlenkkanal von einer Lasche ausgeht, die an dem Füllstück ausgebildet ist und im eingebauten Zustand des Füllstücks in einer Tasche aufgenommen ist, die im Bereich des Kraftstoffzulaufs im Pumpengehäuse ausgenommen ist. Dadurch wird zum einen die Wirkung der Maske verbessert. Zum anderen dienen die in den Taschen aufgenommenen Laschen dazu, das Füllstück im eingebauten Zustand in Position zu halten.
  • Eine weitere besondere Ausführungsart der Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet ,dass sämtliche in dem Füllstück vorgesehenen Kraftstoffkanäle so ausgebildet sind, dass sie einen geringen Strömungswiderstand aufweisen. Dadurch wird gewährleistet, dass der Druckverlust durch das Füllstück so gering wie möglich gehalten wird.
  • Eine weitere besondere Ausführungsart der Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Einlauf der Verbindungsleitung im Pumpengehäuse trichterförmig ausgebildet ist. Dadurch wird der Druckverlust gering gehalten.
  • Eine weitere besondere Ausführungsart der Erfindung ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zwei Umlenkkanäle auf entgegengesetzten Seiten des Füllstücks vorgesehen sind. Das liefert den Vorteil, dass das Füllstück auf zwei gegenüberliegenden Seiten des Pumpengehäuses angeschlossen werden kann.
  • Eine weitere besondere Ausführungsart der Erfindung ist sind. Durch die Unterteilung der Unterseite des Füllstücks in eine Vielzahl von Kammern wird erreicht, dass die Größe der eventuell in dem Hohlraum eingeschlossenen Luftvolumina auf einen unbedenklichen Wert reduziert wird.
  • Weitere Vorteile, Merkmale und Einzelheiten der Erfindung ergeben sich aus der nachfolgenden Beschreibung, in der unter Bezugnahme auf die Zeichnung ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung im Einzelnen beschrieben ist. Dabei können die in den Ansprüchen und in der Beschreibung erwähnten Merkmale jeweils einzeln für sich oder in beliebiger Kombination erfindungswesentlich sein.

  • Das in Figur 1 perspektivisch dargestellte Füllstück wird in einem Hohlraum aufgenommen, der zwischen der Oberseite des Pumpengehäuses und der Unterseite des Steuergerätgehäuses einer erfindungsgemäßen Einspritzpumpe ausgebildet ist. In den Hohlraum mündet ein Kraftstoffzulauf, durch den Kraftstoff aus einem Kraftstofftank in den Hohlraum gelangt. Der Kraftstoff kann entweder mit Hilfe einer Vorförderpumpe in dem Hohlraum gefördert werden, oder allein durch die Förderpumpe der Einspritzpumpe angesaugt werden. Von dem Hohlraum führt eine Verbindungsleitung zu der Fördereinrichtung der Einspritzpumpe. Die Öffnung für die Verbindungsleitung ist gefördert werden, oder allein durch die Förderpumpe der Einspritzpumpe angesaugt werden. Von dem Hohlraum führt eine Verbindungsleitung zu der Fördereinrichtung der Einspritzpumpe. Die Öffnung für die Verbindungsleitung ist in dem Hohlraum oberhalb der Öffnung für den Kraftstoffzulauf angeordnet. Dadurch wird erreicht, dass der Hohlraum ständig bis zu einem gewissen Niveau mit Kraftstoff gefüllt ist. Im Betrieb ist nicht zu vermeiden, dass sich in dem Hohlraum auch eine gewisse Menge Luft befindet. Nach unten hin wird der Hohlraum von dem Pumpengehäuse der Einspritzpumpe begrenzt. Nach oben hin wird der Hohlraum durch die Unterseite eines Steuergerätgehäuses begrenzt. Das Steuergerätgehäuse dient zur Aufnahme von elektronischen Bauteilen, die sich im Betrieb erwärmen.
  • Das in Figur 1 dargestellte Füllstück ist im eingebauten Zustand so in dem Hohlraum aufgenommen, dass seine Oberseite 1 zur Unterseite des Steuergerätgehäuse gewandt ist. Die Oberseite 1 des Füllstücks ist im eingebauten Zustand in der Regel horizontal angeordnet. Von der Oberseite 1 des Füllstücks erstrecken sich acht ebene Seitenflächen 2 bis 9 im Wesentlichen in vertikaler Richtung. In der ebenen Seitenfläche 9 des Füllstücks ist ein Umlenkkanal 11 ausgenommen. In der ebenen Seitenfläche 5 des Füllstücks ist ein Umlenkkanal 12 ausgenommen. Der Umlenkkanal 11 erstreckt sich von einer Lasche 13, die zur Positionierung des Füllstücks dient, bis zur Oberseite 1 des Füllstücks. Der Umlenkkanal 12 erstreckt sich von einer Lasche 14 ebenfalls bis zur Oberseite 1 des Füllstücks. An der Lasche 13 ist eine Maske 15 ausgebildet, die im eingebauten Zustand die Eintrittsöffnung des Kraftstoffzulaufs in dem Hohlraum umgibt. Eine entsprechende Maske ist an der Lasche 14 ausgebildet. Durch die Umlenkkanäle 11 und 12 wird der in den Hohlraum Steuergeräts trifft über der, der elektronische Baustein mit der größten Wärmeverlustleistung sitzt. Mittels Korrektion wird die Wärme abgeführt.
  • In der Mitte der Oberseite 1 des Füllstücks ist eine Einlauftulpe 18 ausgebildet. Die Einlauftulpe 18 steht über ein Verbindungsrohr 19 mit einer Kraftstoffaustrittsöffnung 20 in Verbindung.. Die Kraftstoffaustrittsöffnung 20 ist im eingebauten Zustand des Füllstücks im Bereich des Einlaufs der Verbindungsleitung zur Fördereinrichtung der Einspritzpumpe angeordnet. Die Kraftstoffaustrittsöffnung 20 befindet sich an einer abgeschrägten Fläche 21 des Füllstücks. Durch die obenliegende Anordnung der Einlauftulpe wird oben angesammelte Luft kontinuierlich abgeführt und damit gewährleistet, dass die Unterseite des Steuergerätgehäuses mit Kraftstoff benetzt bleibt. Durch die trichterförmige Ausgestaltung der Einlauftulpe wird darüberhinaus ein geringer Strömungswiderstand für den Kraftstoff erzielt.
  • Aus der Unterseite des Füllstücks ragen zwei Fixierstifte 25 und 26 heraus, die am Ende geschlitzt ausgebildet sind. Die Fixierstifte 25 und 26 dienen dazu, das Füllstück im eingebauten Zustand in dem Hohlraum zu fixieren.
  • In der in Figur 3 dargestellten Untersicht sieht man, dass das Füllstück in eine Vielzahl quaderförmiger Kammern 30, 31 unterteilt ist, die nach unten hin offen sind. Die Kammern 30, 31 werden von vertikal verlaufenden Trennwänden gebildet, die senkrecht zueinander angeordnet sind.
  • Durch das erfindungsgemäße Füllstück wird die Weiterführung des Kraftstoffs zwischen dem Pumpengehäuse und dem Steuergerätgehäuse gewährleistet. Dabei wird der Druckabfall minimiert. Außerdem wird durch die erfindungsgemäße Ausgestaltung des Füllstücks gewährleistet, dass kontinuierlich Luft aus dem Hohlraum abgesaugt wird.
  • Im eingebauten Zustand des Füllstücks fließt ein Kraftstoffstrom von dem Kraftstoffzulauf in den Zwischenraum, der zwischen der Unterseite des Steuergerätgehäuses und der Oberseite des Füllstücks ausgebildet ist. In diesem Zwischenraum entfaltet der Krafstoff seine Kühlwirkung. Von dem Zwischenraum gelangt der Kraftstoff über die Einlauftulpe 18 und das Verbindungsrohr 19 zu der (nicht dargestellten) Verbindungsleitung zur Fördereinrichtung der Einspritzpumpe. Durch die erfindungsgemäße Ausgestaltung des Füllstückes in der Art, dass der Kraftstoff über den höchsten Punkt mittels einer Einlauftulpe abgesaugt wird oder zumindest über die Einlauftulpe abgesaugt wird oder zumindestens über die Einlauftulpe nur abfließen kann, ist gewährleistet, dass der Hohlraum mindestens bis zur Oberseite 1 des Füllstücks gefüllt ist.

Claims (7)

  1. Kraftstoffeinspritzpumpe für Brennkraftmaschinen, mit einem Pumpengehäuse, in dem eine Fördereinrichtung untergebracht ist, deren Betrieb mit Hilfe eines Steuergeräts gesteuert wird, das in einem Steuergerätgehäuse untergebracht ist, das an das Pumpengehäuse montiert ist, wobei zwischen der Oberseite des Pumpengehäuses und der Unterseite des Steuergerätgehäuses ein Hohlraum ausgebildet ist, in den ein Kraftstoffzulauf mündet und von dem eine Verbindungsleitung zu der Fördereinrichtung ausgeht, wobei in dem Hohlraum ein Füllstück mit mindestens einem Umlenkkanal (11) angeordnet ist, über den der geförderte Krafststoff von dem Kraftstoffzulauf zu der Unterseite des Steuergerätgehäuses gelangt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in der zum Steuergerätgehäuse gewandten Oberfläche (1) des Füllstücks eine Einlauftulpe (18) ausgebildet ist, die im eingebauten Zustand des Füllstücks mit der Verbindungsleitung im Pumpengehäuse in Verbindung steht.
  2. Kraftstoffeinspritzpumpe nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass an dem Füllstück eine Maske (15) ausgebildet ist, die im eingebauten Zustand des Füllstücks den Kraftstoffzulauf im Pumpengehäuse umgibt.
  3. Kraftstoffeinspritzpumpe nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der mindestens eine Umlenkkanal (11, 12) von einer Lasche (13, 14) ausgeht, die an dem Füllstück ausgebildet ist und im eingebauten Zustand des Füllstücks in einer Tasche aufgenommen ist, die im Bereich des Kraftstoffzulaufs im Pumpengehäuse ausgenommen ist.
  4. Kraftstoffeinspritzpumpe nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sämtliche in dem Füllstück vorgesehenen Kraftstoffkanäle (11, 12, 19) so ausgebildet sind, dass sie einen geringen Strömungswiderstand aufweisen.
  5. Kraftstoffeinspritzpumpe nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Einlauf der Verbindungsleitung im Pumpengehäuse trichterförmig ausgebildet ist.
  6. Kraftstoffeinspritzpumpe nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass zwei Umlenkkanäle (11, 12) auf entgegengesetzten Seiten des Füllstücks vorgesehen sind.
  7. Kraftstoffeinspritzpumpe nach einem der vorhergehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass in der im eingebauten Zustand des Füllstücks zum Pumpengehäuse gewandten Oberfläche des Füllstücks mehrere nach unten offene Kammern (30, 31) ausgebildet sind.
