Definitions
- the invention relates to a substantially cuboid Clothes or travel suitcase.
- Such a case is known for example from US-PS 3,734,249 and serves for the gentle housing of Outerclothing, especially a men's jacket or - Suit, as well as other travel equipment.
- Such a suitcase is fundamentally different from other suitcases, about Gun cases.
- Location indications such as “above” or “below” refer to the following on a suitcase, with its footprint on level Floor is seated.
- a travel case according to the invention is in total for safekeeping and intended for the transport of travel utensils.
- Suitcases become garments, especially outerclothing like men's suits, transported, which hang out at the destination must, in order not to be crumpled, and at the same time ventilate have to. So you can not put them in the wardrobe of one Hotel rooms hang, especially since this often after sweaty shoes of the previous inhabitant smells.
- the hanging in the wardrobe would be the above, well-known travel suitcase easy to do, as in this the clothes are already on hangers that hung in a bracket inside on the peripheral wall of the suitcase are.
- a carry-on baggage for taking into the passenger compartment of a Airliner may namely neither a quite low, fixed weight still fixed, outer Exceeding dimensions: a bag that comes with skilful parcels the dimensions do not exceed, can with the same Contents, if unfavorably packed, one of these dimensions, about the thickness, exceed, so that the passenger with the rejection has to count on the check-in counter.
- Bordcases Just Frequent flyers use only such Bordcases to the necessary for the clearance and baggage return, considerable Shorten times.
- the invention is assigned to a suitcase create "silent servants", the least possible space and weight in the suitcase.
- this object is achieved by a substantially cuboid travel case solved according to claim 1.
- a bivalve container when open can be erected, although it is already known from FR 2 573 636 A known.
- the use of features of such a container is therefore remote in the present context.
- the suitcase according to the invention has the first advantage that the known shell construction an excessive deformation as a result of clumsy packing prevented because of the relative stiff trays can not be unduly expanded, as would be the case, for example, with a flexible bag.
- the suitcase according to the invention has the advantage of a To deliver a stable structure that, considering the dimensions based on a curb, unfolded is slightly higher than the vertical length of a jacket, and about its width having.
- the suitcase according to the invention has the advantage low weight, especially the hangers while doing so
- Lightweight construction material may consist, for example in sandwich construction a provided with honeycomb stiffeners plastic film.
- the invention does not use a supporting linkage for the "dumb servant", but the suitcase is itself the “dumb servant”.
- An unexpected advantage of the invention lies in that it is possible to carry the suitcase while a jacket (and underneath possibly a pair of pants) is suspended, collapse, so that the garments, folded in the middle, are optimally packed.
- On arrival in a hotel room must only the suitcase should be opened and set up.
- the Bottom wall through the two shells not halved, but the Stand surface formed by at least a part of the bottom wall is larger than the part of the bottom wall that is open Travel suitcase forms the upper limit of the "dumb servant".
- the opened suitcase transversely to his open side of a trapezoidal cross section, with a Limiting the side formed by the two floors, which extends substantially perpendicular to the base, and with a boundary of the open side that slopes upwards extends to the vertical boundary.
- This trapeze can Preferably degenerate almost to a triangle when the footprint essentially occupies the entire bottom wall.
- a preferred measure in connection with the achievement of Stability is that the two shells in open state, that is in the sitting position, can be locked relative to each other. This will be a any unwanted closing of the case excluded.
- the lock can z. B. by suitable latch, clamp, etc. take place. A particularly advantageous type of locking with the help of a pull-out handle will continue below explained.
- the top wall which is associated with the hinge assembly and the when opening the suitcase folded back on itself is, has such a recess that an im "dumb servant" hanging garment not in a kink passes over the dividing edge of the top wall, but vertically hangs down smoothly.
- This recess forms in the Cover wall of the closed travel suitcase an elongated opening, in the preferred limit almost the entire surface of Cover wall occupies, which then only from a border is formed.
- a flap provided, preferably on one of the shells, preferably the upper (with open suitcase), by means of a hinge arrangement attached, which is also formed by a film hinge can be, like a leather strip.
- the carrying handle of the travel case is preferred at this Flap attached so that it folds over the two shells not hindered but with the flap can be swung aside.
- a crossbar attached, with the trunk open in front of the suspended Clothes pass by and in a simple way a falling over of these hanging garments when closing of the travel suitcase.
- This crossbar is preferred in the standing surface of the shell of the travel suitcase attached, and is preferably removable or aside swiveling, in the easiest way to hang and lose weight to allow the clothes.
- This crossbar preferably has the largest possible Diameter up, but can also be from a ledge or arched Be formed bar.
- the interior of the described travel suitcase is used first Line for the containment of outerclothing, especially jackets or suits. So that these outerwear pieces smooth and unhindered This interior should not be packaged be filled with other utensils. At most, there is a bag or a belt assembly on the inside of the bottom of the one or both shell (s) attached, in the underwear, Shirts o. The like folded can be inserted or can.
- a bag made by is accessible from the outside.
- the bag can be included in the cup and advantageously provided with an outwardly hinged lid be as far as it is ensured that the unfolding of Cover does not affect the stability of the "dumb servant". It is particularly advantageous, the bag the bottom of attributable to the lower shell of the opened travel suitcase, as by This pocket will increase the footprint and content of the Pocket down the center of gravity of the opened travel suitcase laid.
- the bag advantageously has the size of the bottom one Bowl; so it is possible folded shirts, but also Files o. The like. In the bag to stow and closed Travel suitcase to have at hand.
- the present is also Travel case is with such a te-lense-like Equipped rod assembly, which advantageously in the Bag is attached; that is, when pushed together Rod assembly these rests in the pocket, advantageously in an envelope or sheath so that the contents of the bag remains unmolested while the associated handle on the top Surface of closed travel suit sits and prefers in this surface is embedded, so that the top surface of the upper Bowl can be folded over this handle.
- the handle sits behind the above Flap, the above-mentioned recess when closed Covered travel suitcase.
- the inserted rod assembly stiffens Advantageously when the open suitcase the bottom of the lower shell, so that the rigidity of the shells relative can be low.
- the handle of the rod assembly is further arranged that he with open suitcase through the recess Through it is extendable, which for the unobstructed unmounting of Clothing is provided.
- the Extraction direction inclined with respect to the bottom of the upper shell, or on the inside of the upper shell is an abutment for attached the handle, so that the partially extended handle in Engage with the inside of the bottom of the upper shell can and keeps them in their open position (Locked).
- a loop on the handle can advantageously grab it facilitate.
- the case shown consists of a lower shell 1 and a Upper shell 3, around a first hinge 5 on one side and an opposite equiaxial second hinge 7 are pivotally attached to each other so that they are closed Suitcases (not shown) are superimposed and an approximately parallelepiped-shaped cavity, whereas with an open suitcase sit on each other and with a forward open body with form approximately triangular side walls 9.
- the bottom wall of the lower shell 1 then forms a footprint 11, while the from open suitcase formed body upwards through the bottom wall 13 of the upper shell is limited.
- the back of the open Suitcase circumscribed cavity is on the part of the lower shell 1 of the inner wall 15 of a later to be described Pocket and part of the upper shell 3 formed by the bottom 17.
- a hanger 19 At the top of the open upper shell 3 immediately below Bottom wall 13 is a hanger 19 at a distance from the floor 17th attached and located above the recess described above the superimposed surfaces of upper and lower shell 1, 3. A placed over the hanger 19 at, hanging suit hanging freely open case as in a "dumb servant", so that the open suitcase its function fulfilled in a perfect way, but without additional components to be needed when looking at the flap 23 and the hanger 19 ignores.
- the suitcase therefore fulfills not only the function of a "silent Dieners ", but to a certain extent allows that automatically optimal packaging of garments, such as a suit, which are known to be difficult to pack by the layman
- the lower shell 1 has at the back of a bag, the bounded by the inner wall 15 and the bottom of the lower shell 1 is.
- the definition of the walls is not essential; you may also designate the wall 15 as the bottom of the lower shell 1, and the rear wall, not shown in the drawing as an outer wall the pocket. It is essential that the wall 15 sufficiently rigid is to maintain the shape of the open suitcase shown. It does not have the material of the entire wall 15 stiff But it is also sufficient to have a rigid frame in which one flexible sheet material is stretched. That applies otherwise for all the walls of the suitcase shown to be stiff overall have to.
- the rear wall of the bag or the bottom of the lower shell 1 is fold out to the rear or otherwise open to access the To get interior of the bag without having to open the case have to.
- This interior of the bag is at the top by a horizontal, bounded upward transverse wall 31, in the one retractable telescopic rod assembly is embedded, whose Handle 27 can be seen.
- This handle is closed when Suitcase not covered by the flap 25 and thus can be pulled out become; the telescopic rod assembly may then optionally be locked in the extended state. If the suitcase then tilted by means of this handle 27, it runs on Rolls 29 (only one to see) and can be picked up by a traveler be dragged behind you easily.
- the inserted telescopic rod assembly is in inserted Condition housed in the bag (behind the wall 15 and preferably attached to this) and boarded there, not to to intervene in travel equipment.
- the telescopic rod assembly is with its longitudinal direction slightly inclined to the plane of the bottom 17, this one when the suitcase is open, and unusually partially open when the case is open through the recess be pulled out, in the two, sitting on top of each other Shell walls is introduced.
- the handle 27 is designed in this way that he partially telescoped telescopic rod assembly against the bottom 17 of the upper shell 3 starts so that he strained with this while the upper shell 3 in her so that the "dumb servant" does not, if he is unfavorably triggered, can fold up at the wrong time.
- a loop (not shown) wrapped around the handle 27 is easier to grasp.
- the embodiment shown by way of example in the figure exceeds in closed state with inserted handle not the dimensions of an international hand luggage flight (55 cm ⁇ 40 cm ⁇ 20 cm) and thus, what the dimensions taken in the passenger compartment of a commercial aircraft become.
- the hanger 19 is preferably lightweight created and preferably consists of two foam-filled or stiffened, consist of thin-walled plastic shells.
- the two bowls 1, 3, the cover of the bag and the flap 23 have openable fasteners with those at closed case, the two shells 1, 3 attached to each other can be, the flap 23 is held over the recess can be and the bag is lockable. Belts can additionally be provided for further security and about the Cover flap 23. It can also be provided closure elements be, with the case open, the two shells 1, 3 in Set the position shown together. The skilled person is capable of these fasteners at will and need to select and attach so that they are in the drawing have been omitted for simplicity.
