Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft einen im wesentlichen quaderförmigen Kleider- oder Reisekoffer mit einer Frontwand, wobei bei geschlossenem Reisekoffer eine zu dieser parallele Rückwand und eine Front- und Rückwand verbindende Umfangswand vorgesehen sind, die eine Bodenwand und eine dieser gegenüberliegende, zu dieser parallele Deckwand aufweist, im Bereich deren eine Scharnieranordnung (5, 7) angebracht ist, deren Schwenkachse parallel zu Front- und Rückwand verläuft, wobei der Reisekoffer aus zwei um die Schwenkachse zueinander schwenkbaren, im wesentlichen steifen Schalen (1, 3) gebildet ist, bei denen die Front- oder Rückwand jeweils den Boden (17) bildet, wobei bei offenem Reisekoffer die Schalen (1, 3) derart auseinandergeschwenkt sind, daß deren Böden (17) übereinander liegen und die Bodenwand dazu eingerichtet ist, als Standfläche (11) für den offenen Reisekoffer zu dienen, wobei die beiden Schalen (1, 3) stabil aufeinander aufsitzen, und wobei an der Oberseite des offenen Reisekoffers und innerhalb der nach oben geschwenkten Schale (3) ein Kleiderbügel (19) oder eine Halterung für einen solchen angebracht ist.
