Definitions
- the invention relates to a machine for baling and strapping according to the preamble of claim 1.
- Balers of this type are for very different materials, especially waste materials related to the be compressed under high press pressure. Compressible ones shift Materials such as paper waste in a way that they easily move into gaps and allows the machine's working openings to penetrate. Fewer compressible material to be pressed, such as moist or mushy material, is under the Squeezed by pressing and also easily gets into functional areas, which are to be kept free of dirt.
- balers are for unsorted To further secure household waste because of the pulpy components and also with regard to areas outside the actual press room secure against pollution.
- the wall openings leading to the outside can be closed, behind them, on the one hand, a push-through tool in its initial position lies and on the other hand a binding device for twisting or Knotting the lacing material with a regularly very complicated and so there is also vulnerable mechanics. Pollution of these areas by moving out, in particular squeezed out pressed material avoid it. However, it must be ensured that the lacing material can continue to run into the press box or press channel. Also in the A corresponding passage must be open at the closures stay.
- Such a closure is preferably designed to be movable.
- a passage opening formed at the front end of the closure can advantageously also achieve that the lace does not only when returning of the ram, but already during the closing movement of the Closure from the channel and in front of the ram.
- a method according to the preamble of claim 13 provides that the closure of the wall openings during the pressing position the ram is advanced to its closed position and that the strand of the loop is pushed out of the channel into or in front of the opening gap becomes. This means that the next time the Press ram release the lacing material by pushing it out reached the ram.
- the number 1 in the drawing but only in the for Functional areas of interest to the invention reproduced channel baling press comprises a press channel 2, into which a press ram 3 from a feed area 4, such as a feed chute, can be moved into it.
- the ram 3 will moved by a hydraulic drive with an actuating piston 5.
- baling channel 2 Bale 8 In Fig. 1, two finished bales 6 and 7 and one started in the baling channel 2 Bale 8 shown. The latter is in the offside positions according to Fig. 2 and 3 filled up to a predetermined length by further plunger strokes and thus completed.
- the finished bales are or are held together by strapping.
- there are five straps (see Fig. 4), which are placed in parallel horizontal planes.
- the vertical strapping used does the corresponding services.
- Their advantages and disadvantages lie in details that are of no further interest here.
- the strapping is made of wire, which is made by drilling is closed in a loop at the merged ends.
- a Tying with a band, closed by one in the field with harvesting machines common knotters, is also possible without being for the design of the machine to be considered here is fundamentally different would result.
- the lacing material wire is on two sides of rolls, not shown separate strands 9, 10 fed. These strands are through before bale a twist 11 is connected to an initially open loop and are closed behind the bale by a second twist 12 for tying.
- a twist 11 is connected to an initially open loop and are closed behind the bale by a second twist 12 for tying.
- the front-side twist 11 can then be omitted, but with the disadvantage that on the corresponding side of the bale free end of the tie must be held until an opposite one End is fed. The other side must then do the same Move bindings around the trap, which depends on the material Can cause difficulties.
- the pollution problems to be considered in more detail here and their solution are also quite appropriate given.
- a push-through tool is used behind a finished bale, for drilling or knotting 13 through from one side of the press channel 2 to the other side Wall openings 14, 15 on both sides are moved through in the baling wall.
- the push-through tool 13 follows a channel 16 in the plunger 3, which has an opening gap 18 to the end face 17 of the plunger through which the lacing material comes out of the piston.
- the wall openings 14.15 change into narrower wire slots 19.20, which only the Wire or other lacing material, but not the push-through tool have to let it through.
- the wall openings 14, 15 are particularly susceptible for the discharge of moist or pasty pressed material.
- To counter this closures 21, 22 are provided which are only opened when the Push-through tool before a setting process through the wall openings and the piston is moved through. This situation is illustrated in Fig. 2.
- the cross section of the closure 22 can be better seen as a cover for the wall opening 15.
- the Wall opening 15 is formed in an inner plate 23 of the press channel, which as a "wear plate” within the actual supporting structure with a is thicker plate 24, so if there is greater wear, it must be replaced.
- the Closure 22 has a profiling to the wear plate 23 and to the wall opening 15 25 on which the bearing surface and thus the friction between the moving parts. Otherwise, the closure is partially in the plate 24 stored and guided in this. Due to mutual grooves 26.27 in Longitudinal and movement directions, in each case one of two with the plate 24 engage screwed guide strips 28, 29, the closure 22 is complete held.
- the closure 22 has a groove 30 open to the outside through which the wire strand 9 (only indicated with a small circular cross section) runs. With the closure closed, it is in the position shown in FIG. 5 the wire in the groove 30 and runs through one in the pressing direction before the closure of the present wire slots into the press channel.
- FIG. 4 there are five straps on each side of the machine also including five of the previously considered facilities Push-through tools and (not shown) binding devices.
- the wall openings 15 are accordingly by individual closures 22 covered, which are firmly connected to each other by a yoke 31 which, in turn, is operated by a single pressure-operated drive 32 is adjusted.
- This drive 32 thus pulls the closures 22 together back when the push-through tool 13 bring the strands of material together and closes the wall openings 15 again when the binding process completed and the push-through tool is retracted.
- This ensures that the wall openings 15 are only opened when the The plunger stands still and covers these wall openings. The discharge of pressed material is prevented by the wall openings.
- advancing the fastener 22, as shown in Fig. 3 and in particular the enlarged partial view of FIG. 7 with a again Piece retracted plunger 3 shows that the front of the closure 22 circulating wire in the closing movement forward and so that is pressed out of the channel 16 of the plunger. A sweep the wire during the backward movement of the plunger is avoided.
- the plunger can also return early, as later will be explained, are closed in the opening columns.
- tunnel-like covers 34 To encapsulate the wire slots 19, 20, as can be seen from FIGS. 6 and 7 is provided, tunnel-like covers 34, the inlet side to Closure 22 provided by a frame 33 with rounded edges are the one opposite protruding twist ends as a deflector and deflector is used, on the other hand a return movement emerging Pressed goods hindered from under the cover. As can be seen in more detail in FIG. 7 the cover 34 overlaps the closure 22 with the end frame 33 in its closed position, so that squeezed out Pressed material would find a labyrinthine exit path.
- Fig. 4 with an intermediate position of the plunger 3 between the front and rear end positions in vertical section, are provided for passage of the push-through tools 13 through the piston Channels 16 closed on the front by locking strips 35, the the opening gap 18 for leaving the lacing material after setting Shut off.
- These strikers prevent you from running Penetration of material to be pressed through the opening gaps 18 into the channels 16.
- the opening gaps 18 are formed by pressure strips 36 known per se "shadowed" thus covered in the printing direction.
- the locking strips take over here 35 the protective function while the pressure bars 36 only one Protection of the locking strips 35 have the task, in particular by the Catch the pressure from the closing strips 35 and drive them in or pinch them Avoid pressed material in the sealing areas of the closing strips.
- the closing strips are, as can be seen from FIGS. 1 to 4, by further back in the plunger 3 lying guides and actuators and can when opening, when the channels for the push-through tools 13 are released should be up to behind the opposite rear wall of the channels 16 withdrawn.
- the locking strips 18 are also among themselves connected to each other in the vertical direction and are shared by two synchronized pressure medium drives 37, fed by an electrical Motor pump 38, operated.
- the pistons of the pressure medium drives 37 are direct connected to a central locking bar 35.
- the vertical connection the locking strips are made with each other by trusses 39 and 40.
