Claims (2)

  1. Dispositif de démarrage d'une installation de coulée continue, avec une lingotière, notamment pour la coulée d'acier, comprenant :
    une tête de fausse barre de démarrage (3) pour fermer la sortie de la lingotière ;
    des tirants d'ancrage (5) sur les extrémités saillant dans l'orifice d'entrée de la lingotière desquels sont fixées des pièces moulées (8) ; et
    au niveau des pièces moulées, au moins une rondelle d'étanchéité (10) étant insérée de sorte à éviter une coulée de masse d'acier fondue, caractérisé en ce que,
    une chaîne de fausse barre (1) reliant la tête de fausse barre de démarrage (3) avec un guidage de la barre est prévue pour le transport hors de la lingotière d'une barre chaude (9) coulée sur les pièces moulées (8) ;
    les tirants d'ancrage (5) comportent sur leurs extrémités opposées aux pièces moulées des axes d'articulation (6) ;
    la tête de fausse barre de démarrage (3) comporte des évidements cylindriques (4, 11) pour loger les axes d'articulation (6)
    et pour sectionner la barre chaude (9), elle est susceptible de pivoter d'au moins 90° autour des axes d'articulation (6), suite à quoi, la fausse barre de démarrage (3) avec la chaîne de fausse barre (1) se détache des axes d'articulation (6) et donc de la barre chaude (9).
  2. Procédé pour faire fonctionner un dispositif selon la revendication 1, caractérisé par les étapes suivantes :
    fermeture de la sortie inférieure de la lingotière avec les pièces moulées (8) et la rondelle d'étanchéité (10), les pièces moulées et la rondelle d'étanchéité étant soutenues via les tirants d'ancrage (5) intercalés par la tête de fausse barre de démarrage (3) ;
    enrobage par coulée des pièces moulées (8) et de la rondelle d'étanchéité (10) pour créer une liaison entre la barre chaude (9) et la tête de fausse barre de démarrage (3) ;
    transport continu de la barre chaude (9) en direction de coulée (X) au moyen du guidage de barre ; et
    une fois qu'une zone de liaison barre chaude (9) / tête de fausse barre de démarrage (3) a atteint l'extrémité du guidage de barre, la chaîne de fausse barre (1) est tirée vers le haut, en direction (Y), pour faire pivoter la tête de fausse barre de démarrage (3) d'au moins 90° autour des axes d'articulation (6), suite à quoi, la fausse barre (3) avec la chaîne de fausse barre (1) se détache des axes d'articulation (6) et donc de la barre chaude (9), les tirants d'ancrage (5) restant d'abord sur la barre chaude, avec les axes d'articulation (6) et les pièces moulées et n'étant sectionnés de cette dernière que plus tard.
