Description
Das erfindungsgemäße Verfahren hat den Vorteil, dass es in den in Gerbereien vorhandenen üblichen Gerbfässem durchführbar ist und keine apparative Neuausrüstung für die Anwendung der Gerbung mit Transglutaminasen erforderlich ist. Ein weiterer Vorteil ist, dass das bei der Gerbung entstehende Abwasser völlig untoxisch ist und keine Entsorgungsprobleme bereitet, weder mit dem Abwasser noch mit festen Abfällen, z. B. aus der Dickenbearbeitung.
Claims (20)
- Verfahren zur enzymatischen Gerbung von Häuten und Fellen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man das in der Haut vorhandene Struktureiweiß, insbesondere Kollagen durch die Einwirkung einer oder mehrerer Transglutaminasen vemetzt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Transglutaminase in einer 0,1 bis 30%-igen wässrigen Lösung auf die Haut einwirken lässt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Transglutaminase in einer 0,5 bis 10%-igen wässrigen Lösung auf die Haut einwirken lässt.
- Verfahren nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man das Verfahren bei einem pH-Wert von 2 bis 11 durchführt.
- Verfahren nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man das Verfahren bei einem pH-Wert von 4 bis 9 durchführt.
- Verfahren nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man das Verfahren bei einer Temperatur zwischen 4 und 60 °C durchführt.
- Verfahren nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man das Verfahren bei einer Temperatur zwischen 20 bis 40 °C durchführt.
- Verfahren nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Haut durch mechanische Behandlung oder durch Zugabe von Hilfsstoffen für das Enzym zugänglich macht.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Haut durch Zugabe von Proteasen, Detergenzien, Salzen oder chaotropen Agenzien für das Enzym zugänglich macht.
- Verfahren nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Vemetzung durch Zugabe von geeigneten Hilfsstoffen unterstützt.
- Verfahren nach den Anspruch 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man die Vernetzung durch Zugabe von Proteinen, Peptiden, Proteinhydrolysaten, Gelatine, Polyglutamin, Polyaminen oder Polylysin unterstützt.
- Verfahren nach den Ansprüchen 1 bis 11, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Vemetzung durch einen Temperaturschock herbeigeführt wird.
- Verwendung eines Mittels enthaltend eine oder mehrere Transglutaminasen zum enzymatischen Gerben von Häuten und Fellen.
- Verwendung nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Mittel eine oder mehrere Transglutaminasen in einer Menge von 0,1 bis 30 Gew.-%, bezogen auf das Mittel, enthält.
- Verwendung nach Anspruch 13, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Mittel eine oder mehrere Transglutaminasen in einer Menge von 0,5 bis 10 Gew.-%, bezogen auf das Mittel, enthält.
- Verwendung nach den Ansprüchen 13 bis 15, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Transglutaminase in einer geeigneten Formulierung verwendet wird.
- Verwendung nach den Ansprüchen 13 bis 16, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Mittel eine bakterielle Transglutaminase, eine mikrobielle Transglutaminase, eine Pilztransglutaminase, eine Pflanzen- oder eine Säugertransglutaminase enthält.
- Verwendung nach den Ansprüchen 13 bis 17, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Mittel eine von Streptomyces-Arten gebildete bakterielle Transglutaminase enthält.
- Verwendung nach den Ansprüchen 13 bis 18, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Mittel eine von Streptoverticillium mobaraense gebildete bakterielle Transglutaminase enthält.
- Verwendung nach den Ansprüchen 13 bis 19, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Mittel eine rekombinant hergestellte Transglutaminase enthält.
