- the disk-like elements 5 have a spreading-out effect on account of their inclination due to their being mounted according to the axes Y-Y which are inclined with respect to the axis X-X of the roller along the arc that goes from the point In of start of contact of the material T with the roller 1 as far as the point U of exit of the material T from contact with the roller 1.
- the said guiding means 12 may be a roller that can be displaced from the position 12A up to the position 12B through intermediate positions, such as the position 12C, as illustrated in Figs. 7, 9 and 8, respectively. From the displacement of the said guide means 12 between the various positions there is obtained an arc of contact that is different between the material T and the peripheral surface of the roller: the arc I1-U of Fig. 7 is smaller than the arc 12-U of Fig. 8 and smaller still than the arc I3-U of Fig.9.
- the same function may be achieved by modifying the output point U with respect to the start-of-contact point of the material with the peripheral surface of the roller 1.
- the amplitude of said arc of contact may also be modified by simultaneously varying the positions of the two points In and U with respect to the position of the axes Y-Y which are inclined with respect to the axis X-X.
- the perimetral surface of the disk-like elements which exerts a contact friction with the material instead of consisting of the surface 57B shown in Figs. 1 to 4, may consist of a series of pins or bristles 157 which have a basically radial orientation and start from the periphery of each of the disk-like elements 105.
- the said bristles or pins 157 penetrate, purely by way of example, into a fabric and perform the spreading-out function in the same way as the surface 57B of the periphery of each of the disk-like elements 5. Smooth materials having a high coefficient of friction and/or materials machined in order to increase roughness can be used.

- Figs. 11, 12 and 13 show other embodiments, in which the roller has a number of sections with different shapes, among which at least one smooth section and/or sections with disk-like elements having different inclinations.
- the invention makes it possible to achieve the advantages mentioned at the beginning of the present description, with the further possibility of adjustment even during operation of a machine, in order to vary the amount of transverse spreading-out of the material that reaches the roller 1 and is more or less deviated by the said roller.

Claims (9)
- Rolle für das Spreizen in Querrichtung für einen Aufweitbalken für bahnförmige Materialien, wie Folien, Gewebe oder dergleichen, die teilweise um die Rolle herumgeführt werden, welche Oberflächen oder Vorsprünge aufweist, die für das Einwirken in Querrichtung in entgegengesetzten Richtungen auf das durchlaufende Material ausgebildet sind, umfassend scheibenförmige Elemente (5), von denen jedes eine Umfangsfläche (57B) hat, die dafür ausgebildet ist, Kontaktreibung auf das Material auszuüben, und um ihre eigene Achse rotiert, wobei die Rotationsachsen der scheibenförmigen Elemente (5) bezüglich der Achse (x-x) der Rolle geneigt sind, und wobei jedes scheibenförmige Element (5) auf einer Tragachse (3) mittels Wälzlagern oder Gleitlagern (53) gelagert ist, die von auf der Tragachse (3) angeordneten Kernen (51) gestützt werden, wobei die Kerne (51) und damit die scheibenförmigen Elemente (5) insgesamt so gelagert sind, dass ihre Achsen (y-y), die bezüglich der Achse (x-x) der Rolle unter einem Winkel A geneigt sind, alle in ein- und derselben geometrischen Diametralebene der Tragachse (3) liegen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Kerne (51) durch einen gegenseitigen Winkeleingriff miteinander verbunden und drehbeweglich um die Tragachse (3) sind, derart, dass die geometrische Ebene, die die Achsen (y-y) der einzelnen Kerne (51) enthält, in geeigneter Weise um die Achse (x-x) der Rolle orientiert werden kann.
- Spreizrolle nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Drehachsen (y-y) der scheibenförmigen Elemente (5) in ein- und derselben geometrischen Ebene liegen, die durch die Achse (x-x) der Rolle verläuft.
- Spreizrolle nach Anspruch 1 oder 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Drehachsen (y-y) der scheibenförmigen Elemente zueinander parallel sind.
- Spreizrolle nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die scheibenförmigen Elemente Umfangsränder aus elastisch nachgiebigem Material haben.
- Spreizrolle nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die scheibenförmigen Elemente Umfangsränder aus einem Material mit hohem Reibungskoeffizienten haben.
- Spreizrolle nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 5, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die scheibenförmigen Elemente Umfangsränder aus filamentförmigen Elementen, wie Borsten, Stifte oder äquivalente Elemente, haben.
- Spreizrolle nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Umfangsrand konisch geformt ist.
- Spreizrolle nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7, mit Führungsmitteln zum Führen des der Rolle zugeführten oder von ihr weggeführten bahnförmigen Materials, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mindestens eines der Führungsmittel in seiner Position einstellbar ist, um die Amplitude oder die Position des Berührungsbogens des bahnförmigen Materials an der Umfangsfläche des die Rolle bildenden scheibenförmigen Elements relativ zur Neigung des scheibenförmigen Elements zu ändern.
- Spreizrolle nach mindestens einem der vorangehenden Ansprüche, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Rolle von Scheiben gebildete Abschnitte und mindestens einen glatten Abschnitt aufweist.
