Definitions
- cleaning tasks arise in a wide variety of areas, be it for Cleaning objects made of metal, glass, ceramic, plastic or composite materials Soiling for reusing the items in a clean state, for example in the hospital or household sector, be it for cleaning objects inside of manufacturing processes in which the process technology, such as painting, soldering, welding etc. requires clean surfaces, or be it for cleaning textiles, just a few examples to mention.
- a wide variety of contaminants must be removed, for example inorganic dirt, such as pigment dirt or dirt with ionic salts, which is well removed from water, organic dirt in the form of food residues, Greases, lapping and polishing pastes, soldering pastes, adhesives etc., as well as various combinations of the types of dirt mentioned as examples.
- DE 199 08 434 A1 discloses a method for liquid cleaning objects, in which the objects to be cleaned are in intensive contact with a cleaning liquid brought, which is an organic solvent with good dissolving properties for the dirt to be removed and in the form of a solvent type emulsion is in water.
- a cleaning liquid brought which is an organic solvent with good dissolving properties for the dirt to be removed and in the form of a solvent type emulsion is in water.
- the invention has for its object a method for liquid cleaning of objects to create with which excellent cleaning effects are achieved and which the amount of required solvent or solvents or organic Components is further reduced.
- the invention uses the knowledge known from DE 199 08 434 A1 that cleaning liquids with at least two components related to the respective pollution are then cleaned particularly efficiently if the two components are underneath certain first conditions, for example under certain pressure and temperature conditions, form a mixture gap in the existing concentrations.
- Matture is one of two or more below Understanding molecular types existing system, its chemical and physical properties are spatially constant (homogeneous system).
- a solution is a mixture where a substance or type of molecule is present in excess. Form a mixture gap two liquids if they cannot be mixed with one another indefinitely; you get then two liquid phases in which the components of the liquid in different Composition are present, for example the one component largely in the one phase and the other component is largely in the other phase.
- a miscibility gap can make itself felt that the clear liquid in a Temperature change becomes cloudy or forms an emulsion which is due to the phase separation points. However, the cloudiness or the emulsion is not a necessary indicator for one Miscibility gap; there are so-called microemulsions in which the two phases are so fine are distributed that the liquid is still optically clear.
- the cleaning liquid can remain in use for as long as possible, it must be removed from the contaminants absorbed by it are freed.
- the dirt can be removed using a filter (especially inorganic, pigment-containing soiling) or by the fact that the pollution due to their density at the bottom or different from the liquid accumulate on the surface of the liquid and be removed from there (especially greasy soiling).
- a filter especially inorganic, pigment-containing soiling
- the pollution due to their density at the bottom or different from the liquid accumulate on the surface of the liquid and be removed from there (especially greasy soiling).
- the advantage is achieved that both inorganic also organic dirt can be solved, the organic component often can be present in a relatively small concentration and yet cleans as if it were available in high concentration.
- the Cleaning liquid mainly consists of water.
- the method according to claim 6 is particularly advantageous because the cleaning effect is usually better at a higher temperature than at a low temperature.
- the method according to the invention is particularly suitable for all liquid cleanings which have no chemical reaction between the pollution and the cleaning liquid expires, which changes the molecular composition of the cleaning liquid.
- the cleaning liquid in the state of the miscibility gap is a medium with which impurities can be effectively transferred from the contaminated surface into the cleaning liquid.
- the conversion of the cleaning liquid from the state of the miscibility gap to the Condition of the homogeneous mixture is key to that in the cleaning fluid effectively remove any impurities contained in the liquid.
- the cleaning liquid contains 90% by weight of water and 10 % By weight glycol ether, preferably dipropylene glycol mono-n-propyl ether.
- the predetermined cleaning liquid is contained in a cleaning container 2, of which a line 6 provided with a pump 4 for controlling the flow rate a separation tank 8 leads.
- the separating tank 8 is with an overflow 9 Collecting container 10 connected, of which a return line provided with a pump 12 14 leads through a filter device 16 back to the cleaning container 2.
- an agitation device 16 for example an agitator and / or an ultrasound device.
- Each of the containers 2, 8 and 10 is with one provided its own temperature control device 18, by means of which the temperatures of the containers are independent can be kept from each other at a predetermined value.
- a transport device 20 for receiving those to be cleaned Items.
- the transport device 20 can then also be placed in a rinsing container be moved with hot water and / or a drying container.
- the cleaning liquid does not necessarily have to be continuously pumped around, but the impurities it has absorbed can be removed batchwise.
- the system described can be modified such that, for example, in a Dishwasher or washing machine in the cleaning container the procedure described above expires, the cleaning liquid then from the cleaning container into a buffer container is pumped out where it is kept, while in the cleaning container only Rinsing processes take place.
- the cleaning liquid can then be used for cleaning Objects in turn are pumped back into the cleaning container.
- the cleaning liquid can be used several times for cleaning objects and only needs to be sharpened occasionally.
- the separated impurities can be removed with the rinse water.
