Description

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Packung für Tabakerzeugnisse, insbesondere Zigaretten, aus einem einzigen den Packungsinhalt umgebenden Zuschnitt aus faltbarem Verpackungsmaterial, wie Papier, Karton oder dergleichen, wobei Faltlappen des Zuschnitts, nämlich Boden-Faltlappen zur Bildung einer Bodenwand, einander teilweise überdecken und durch Leim miteinander verbunden sind.
Zigarettenpackungen des Typs Weichpackung werden bisher überwiegend als Weichbecherpackung ausgeführt, also mit einem gesonderten Innenzuschnitt aus Papier oder Stanniol und einem äußeren, oben offenen Becher. Die Zigaretten sind dabei durch die Innenumhüllung vollständig umgeben. Deren Faltlappen im Bereich von Stirnwand und Bodenwand liegen ohne Leimverbindung an den Enden der Zigaretten an (US 5 762 186).
Bekannt ist aber auch eine Weichpackung für Zigaretten, die aus einem einzigen, unmittelbar an den Zigaretten anliegenden Zuschnitt besteht (US 4 508 218). Bei diesem Zuschnitt sind bodenseitige Faltlappen durch Leim miteinander verbunden. Dadurch besteht die Gefahr, dass Leim aus dem Bereich dieser Boden-Faltlappen an die freien Enden der Zigaretten gelangt.
Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, Packungen der eingangs beschriebenen Art dahingehend weiterzuentwickeln, dass der Packungsinhalt, insbesondere die Zigaretten, gegen Übertragung von Leim geschützt sind.
Zur Lösung dieser Aufgabe ist die erfindungsgemäße Packung durch folgende Merkmale gekennzeichnet:
  • a) zwischen den durch Leim miteinander verbundenen Faltlappen der Bodenwand einerseits und dem Packungsinhalt andererseits ist ein Abdecklappen angeordnet zum Schutz gegen Übertragung von Leim auf den Packungsinhalt,
  • b) ein vergrößerter Boden-Ecklappen des Zuschnitts bildet als innenseitiger Teil der Bodenwand den Abdecklappen, vorzugsweise in Ergänzung zu dem gegenüberliegenden Boden-Ecklappen.
    • Der Erfindung liegt die Erkenntnis zugrunde, dass die Beleimung von Faltlappen der Packung, insbesondere die Beleimung von Boden-Faltlappen einer Bodenwand, die Gefahr in sich birgt, dass Leimpartikel auf den Packungsinhalt übertragen werden, insbesondere auf Endbereiche der zur Bodenwand der Packung benachbarten Zigaretten gegen Leimübertragung.
    Zweckmäßigerweise ist der Abdecklappen im Bereich der Bodenwand Teil des Zuschnitts, also mit diesem verbunden, und zwar als Verlängerung bzw. Ergänzung eines üblicherweise innenseitig positionierten Boden-Ecklappens. Dieser ist eine Fortsetzung einer der schmalen, aufrechten Seitenwände der Packung.
    Weitere Einzelheiten über die Ausgestaltung und Fertigung derartiger (Zigaretten-) Packungen werden nachfolgend anhand der Zeichnungen erläutert. Es zeigt:

    Die in den Zeichnungen dargestellten Einzelheiten betreffen Weiterentwicklungen und Verbesserungen an (Zigaretten-)Packungen insbesondere in der Ausführung gemäß US 4 508 218 und US 5 762 186.
    Die in Fig. 1 perspektivisch dargestellte (Zigaretten-)Packung des Typs Weichbecher in modifizierter Ausführung besteht aus einem einzigen, einstückigen Zuschnitt (Fig. 7, Fig. 8). Der rechteckige Zuschnitt umgibt den Packungsinhalt (eine Gruppe von Zigaretten) derart, dass Vorderwand 10, Rückwand 11 und Seitenwände 12, 13 entstehen. Die Seitenwand 13 ist aus zwei randseitigen Seitenlappen 14, 15 gebildet, die einander teilweise überdecken, wobei der breitere Seitenlappen außen liegt und nahezu die Breite der Seitenwand 13 überdeckt. Die Seitenlappen 14, 15 sind durch Klebung miteinander verbunden, bei dem vorliegenden Beispiel durch eine Mehrzahl von Leimpunkten 16.
    Oben bildet der Zuschnitt eine Stimwand 17. Gegenüber liegend befindet sich eine Bodenwand 18. Stimwand 17 und Bodenwand 18 sind durch mehrere einander teilweise überdeckende Faltlappen gebildet. Die Bodenwand 18 besteht aus Boden-Faltlappen, nämlich Boden-Längslappen 19 und 20 sowie Boden-Ecklappen 21, 22 andererseits. Die jeweils zapfenförmigen Bodenlängslappen 19, 20 sind mit der Vorderwand 10 einerseits und der Rückwand 11 andererseits verbunden. Die schmaleren Boden-Ecklappen 21, 22 sind mit der Seitenwand 13 andererseits verbunden bzw. Fortsetzungen derselben. Die Boden-Ecklappen 21, 22 bilden die Innenseite der Bodenwand 18, während die Boden-Längslappen19, 20 außen liegen. Die Boden-Langslappen 19, 20 sind durch Klebung miteinander verbunden, zum Beispiel durch Leimpunkte oder dergleichen.
    Ein bodenseitiger Bereich des Zuschnitts bzw. der Packung, nämlich ein Faltstreifen 24, ist doppellagig ausgebildet. Der Faltstreifen 24 besteht aus zwei Teilstreifen 25, 26. Der äußere, am freien Rand gebildete Teilstreifen 26 ist entlang einer Faltlinie 27 zur Bildung des doppellagigen Faltstreifens 24 umgefaltet. Aus dem doppellagigen Faltstreifen 24 werden die beschriebenen Bodenlappen gebildet.
    An der Innenseite der Bodenwand 18 ist ein Abdecklappen gebildet, und zwar zwischen der Bodenwand 18 und dem Packungsinhalt. Der Abdecklappen schützt den Packungsinhalt vor Übertragung von Leimpartikeln bei der Verklebung von Boden-Faltlappen.
    Der Abdecklappen wird bei dem gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel durch einen Bodenlappen gebildet, und zwar durch den mit der Seitenwand 12 verbundenen Boden-Ecklappen 21. Der Boden-Ecklappen 21 ist zu diesem Zweck nicht doppellagig ausgebildet. Vielmehr bleibt der Boden-Ecklappen 21 in der durch die Breite des Faltstreifens 24 vorgegebene Länge, ist also im wesentlichen doppelt so lang wie der Boden-Ecklappen 22. Der Zuschnitt ist hierfür durch Stanzlinien 28, 29 vorbereitet. Diese erstrecken sich an den seitlichen Begrenzungen des Boden-Ecklappens 21, und zwar im Berich des Faltstreifens 24 also bis zur Faltlinie 27. Dadurch können die Bereiche des Teilstreifens 26 zur Bildung der Boden-Längslappen 19, 20 und der Boden-Ecklappen 22 umgefaltet werden, während der Boden-Ecklappen 21 ungefaltet bleibt und dadurch eine entsprechend größere Länge aufweist. Bei dem vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel ergibt sich eine zusätzliche Länge durch enen an der freien Seite des Faltstreifens 24 angebrachten Randstreifen 30. Dieser erstreckt sich bei der fertigen Packung als innenseitige Verstärkung im Bereich von Vorderwand 10, Rückwand 11 und Seitenwänden 12.13 (Fig. 2.).
    Der entsprechend in Längsrichtung der Seitenwand 12 bemessene Boden-Ecklappen 21 erstreckt sich entlang der Bodenwand 18 innenseitig bis zum gegenüberliegenden Boden-Ecklappen 22 bzw. über diesen hinweg (Fig. 2, Fig. 3). Der Packungsinhalt ist demnach vollflächig durch die Boden-Ecklappen 21, 22 abgedeckt gegenüber den außen anliegenden Boden-Längslappen 19, 20. Diese werden in einer zu der Stirnwand 17 anlalogen Weise gefaltet und miteinander verbunden. Die Beleimung der Boden-Faltiappen, nämlich der Boden-Längslappen 19, 20 erfolgt zweckmäßiger Weise in einer Stellung entsprechend Fig. 2 und Fig. 3. Der Packungsinhalt, nämlich die zugekehrten Enden der Zigaretten, sind dabei durchgehend abgedeckt, nämlich durch den einlagigen Boden-Ecklappen 21 einerseits und durch den anschließenden Boden-Ecklappen 22 andererseits.
    Eine andere Besonderheit der Erfindung bezieht sich ebenfalls auf die Gestaltung der Packung im Bereich mehrlagiger Ausbildung des Zuschnitts. Bei dem vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel geht es um einen benachbart zur Stimwand 17 bzw. unmittelbar unterhalb derselben ringsherum laufenden mehrlagigen Materialstreifen 31. Dieser ist als Z-Faltung ausgebildet.
    Der Zuschnitt (Fig. 7) ist zu diesem Zweck in einem stimseitigen Bereich mit einem Faltstreifen 32 versehen, der zur Bildung von Stim-Faltlappen dient, analog zur Ausgestaltung der Bodenwand 18. Es handelt sich demnach um die Bildung von Stimlängslappen 33, 34 sowie den schmaleren Stin-Ecklappen 35 und 36. Der Stim-Ecklappen 36 ist teilweise doppellagig ausgebildet, nämlich analog zur Seitenwand 13.
    Zwischen dem Faltstreifen 32 und dem Bereich mit Vorderwand 10, Rückwand 11 etc. ist ein zusätzlicher Materialstreifen gebildet, nämlich ein Z-Faltstreifen 37. Dieser besteht aus zwei Teilstreifen, nämlich für Schenkel 38, 39 der Z-Faltung. Die streifenförmigen Schenkel 38, 39 sind voneinander durch eine Z-Faltkante 40 sowie von dem Faltstreifen 32 durch eine Faltkante 41 und von Vorderwand 10, Rückwand 11 etc. durch eine weitere Faltkante 42 abgegrenzt. Diese bilden jeweils Umlenkkanten des Materials bei der fertigen Z-Faltung (Fig. 5).
    Im Bereich der Seitenwand 13 ergibt sich durch die Gestaltung des Materialstreifens 31 eine Anhäufung von Materiallagen (Fig. 6). Dies kann zu einer unerwünschten Öffnung der Faltung in diesem Bereich führen. Um dieser Erscheinung entgegenzutreten, sind in dem Überlappungsbereich Materiallagen beseitgt, so dass die Gesamtzahl der einander überdeckenden Lagen örtlich reduziert ist. Zu diesem Zweck sind vorzugsweise innen liegende, also nach außen abgedeckte Lagen, mit Ausnehmungen, Löschem, Ausstanzungen oder dergleichen versehen.
    Beim vorliegenden Ausführungsbeispiel ist im Bereich des Z-Faltstreifens 37 randseitig eine zu freien Rand hin offene Ausnehmung 43 angeordnet. Diese ist V-förmig ausgebildet und erstreckt sich annähernd mittig im Bereich des Z-Faltstreifens 37, also zu beiden Seiten der Z-Faltkante 40.
    Bei der Herstellung der Packung wird zuerst die Z-Faltung im Bereich des im Übrigen ebenen Zuschnitts gebildet (Fig. 8). Danach wird der Packungsinhalt durch den soweit vorberteiteten Zuschnitt umhüllt, wobei die Materalüberdeckung im Bereich der Seitenwand 13 entsteht. Die Ausnehmung 43 ist in dem dem (äußeren) Seitenlappen 15 zugekehrten Bereich des Z-Faltstreifens 37 angeordnet. Durch die innen liegende Z-Faltung (Fig. 6) ist die Ausnehmung 43 bei der fertigen Packung außen überdeckt durch einen oberen Bereich des Steitenlappens 15. Unterhalb des Seitenlappens 14 ergibt sich durch die Gestalt und Anordnung der Ausnehmung 43 eine örtliche Material- bzw. Lagenreduzierung, und zwar im Bereich der Schenkel 38 und 39.
    Eine besonders korrekte und haltbare Vrbindung im Bereich der Überlappung der Enden des mehrlagigen Matenalstreifens 31 ist dann gegeben, wenn im Bereich der geschaffenen Ausnehmung 43 Materiallagen durch Kleben miteinander verbunden sind. Bei dem vorliegenden Beispiel ist ein Leimpunkt 44 im Bereich der Ausnehmung 43 positioniert. Dadurch wird der (außen liegende) Seitenlappen 15 unmittelbar mit dem innen liegenden Seitenlappen 14 verbunden, durch die Ausnehmung 43 hindurch. Bei dem gezeigten Ausführungsbeispiel (Fig. 8) ist die Anordnung des Leimpunktes 44 so gewählt, dass dieser mittig zu einer die Ausnehmung 43 begrenzenden (Doppel-)Kante 45 positioniert ist. Durch den Leimpunkt 44 wird dadurch zugleich auch der äußere Seitenlappen 15 mit dem zugekehrten Schenkel 39 des Z-Faltstreifens 37 verbunden.
    Die beschriebenen Zuschnitte werden zweckmäßigerweise von einer fortlaufenden Materialbahn durch quergenchtete Trennschnitte abgeteilt, wobei sich der Z-Faltstreifen 37 zweckmäßigerweise in Längsrichtung der Bahn erstreckt. Die Ausnehmung 43 wird dabei durch bzw. mit einem quergerichteten Trennschnitt für die Zuschnitte angebracht durch entsprechende Ausgestaltung eines Trennmessers. Bei dem jeweils nachfolgenden Zuschnitt entsteht dadurch ein Vorsprung bzw. eine Zunge 46 in Gestalt der Ausnehmung 43 und in Fortsetzung des Z-Faltstreifens 37. Diese Zunge 46 verschwindet innenseitig bei der fertigen Packung.

    Claims (3)

    1. Packung für Tabakerzeugnisse, insbesondere Zigaretten, aus einem einzigen den Packungsinhalt umgebenden Zuschnitt aus faltbarem Verpackungsmaterial, wie Papier, Karton oder dergleichen, wobei Faltlappen des Zuschnitts, nämlich Boden-Faltlappen (19, 20; 21, 22) zur Bildung einer Bodenwand (18), einander teilweise überdecken und durch Leim miteinander verbunden sind, gekennzeichnet durch folgende Merkmale:
      a) zwischen den durch Leim miteinander verbundenen Faltlappen (19, 20; 21, 22) der Bodenwand (18) einerseits und dem Packungsinhalt andererseits ist ein Abdecklappen angeordnet zum Schutz gegen Übertragung von Leim auf den Packungsinhalt,
      b) ein vergrößerter Boden-Ecklappen (21)des Zuschnitts bildet als innenseitiger Teil der Bodenwand (18) den Abdecklappen, vorzugsweise in Ergänzung zu dem gegenüberliegenden Boden-Ecklappen (22).
    2. Packung nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Boden-Faltlappen (19, 20; 22) doppellagig ausgebildet sind durch einen doppellagig gefalteten Faltstreifen (24) des Zuschnitts und dass mindestens ein Boden-Ecklappen (21) einlagig ausgebildet ist und aufgrund der Abmessung des Faltstreifens (24) eine größere Abmessung in Längsrichtung der Bodenwand (18) aufweist zur Bildung des Abdecklappens.
    3. Packung nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der Zuschnitt zur Bildung der doppellagigen Boden-Faltlappen einen aus zwei Teilstreifen (25, 26) bestehenden Faltstreifen (24) aufweist und dass im Bereich des äußeren, randseitigen Teilstreifens (26) der Boden-Ecklappen (21) durch Stanzlinien (28, 29) in der Breite des Teilstreifens (26) von benachbarten Lagen der Boden-Längslappen (19, 20) abgeteilt ist.
