Definitions
- the invention relates to a bearing chair for an internal combustion engine, in which the Bearing cover for the crankshaft bearing on the cylinder block facing Side of the storage chair.
- Such a storage chair is e.g. known from DE 29609950-U1.
- the advantage for them The use of a storage chair is basically easier to assemble due to the modular design and a substantial stiffening of the combustion chamber opposite end of the engine.
- Bearings are the bearing caps for the crankshaft on both sides of the Crankshaft bearing bearing bolts on the cylinder block facing side of the camp chair attached.
- On the camp chair is also a external oil gallery integrated in the storage chair. From the oil gallery proceeding in the bearing chair are running bearing oil holes that are provided drill oil holes in the bearing cap. In this way, the oil in the Bearing cover located half of the crankshaft bearing are fed. Indeed here is the outlet opening of the bearing cap oil hole relatively close to that between Bearing cover and bearing chair extending bearing cover contact surface.
- the object of the invention was to mount on a cylinder block with a cylinder block Bearing caps to improve the oil supply to the crankshaft bearing. This task is solved by the characterizing features of claim 1.
- the oil gallery in the inside of the storage chair is that of the Bearing caps facing away from and arranged approximately opposite. This has the advantage that a much greater freedom with regard to the arrangement of the Bearing seat oil hole, which connects the oil gallery with the bearing cap oil hole, consists. This means that the bearing cap oil bore can also meet the requirements the bearing lubrication - its position is only limited by the bearing cap geometry - be chosen optimized.
- the oil gallery is preferably aligned under the bearing cap contact surfaces, which between Bearing cover and storage chair run, arranged.
- This is the manufacturing significantly simplified because the bearing bracket oil bore parallel to that of the Bearing cap screw receiving bore can be performed.
- the bearing bracket oil hole between the crankshaft bearing and the bearing cap screw provided, the bearing block oil hole through the bearing cap contact surface passes.
- the bearing block oil bore can preferably be axially (in Crankshaft axis) offset to the plane through the bearing cap screw axes to be ordered. This allows an uninterrupted flow of force in the bearing cap can be achieved.
- the oil gallery runs in alignment with those in the crankshaft direction of rotation horizontal bearing cap contact surfaces.
- the bearing block oil hole is at least partially formed by a bore receiving the bearing cap screws. This enables the necessary manufacturing operations to be further optimized. In particular, in connection with corresponding overflow spaces on the Bearing cap screw itself or at its bore the connection between Bearing cap oil hole and bearing block oil hole are produced.
- those are located near the oil gallery
- Bearing cap screws are at least partially hollow, this cavity over Bores in the bearing cap screw with the bearing cap screws receiving bore is connected and this on the one hand with the oil gallery, on the other hand is connected to the respective bearing cap oil hole.
- the oil gallery can be immediate arranged at the lower end of the bore receiving the bearing cap screws be so that the oil gallery itself or the bearing cap screw hole Form the bearing bracket oil hole.
- 1 and 2 show schematically a section which is approximately through the axes of the Bearing cap fastening screws runs.
- the internal combustion engine 1 consists in a known manner of a bearing block 2, the Cylinder block 3 and cylinder head 4. Oil pan and cylinder head cover are also only carried out schematically.
- Bearing caps 5 are on the bearing chair 2 by means of Bearing cap fastening screws 51 screwed on. Between camp chair 2 and Bearing caps 5 are the bores 52 for the crankshaft bearings (main bearings) intended. Approximately the lower half of the bearing bore 52 is in the bearing bracket, while the top half is attached to the bearing cap. Between camp chair 2 and Bearing cover 5, the bearing cover contact surfaces 53 are formed. It can be milled surfaces or - on cast-on during the production of the storage chair Bearing caps - act on broken surfaces.
- the bearing cap fastening screws 51 are approximately symmetrical arranged to the hole.
- the connection between cylinder block 3 and the bearing bracket 2 is carried out using fastening screws 6 (cylinder block fastening screws) preferably through the holes in the bearing bracket and in the cylinder block and in Reach cylinder head into this.
- a sealing surface 54 is provided for mounting the bearing block on the cylinder block. This Sealing surface 54 extends from the outer wall 55 of the bearing chair in the direction of Bore 52 for the crankshaft bearing approximately perpendicular to the Cylinder block mounting screws preferably up to the receiving them Holes.
- On the inside of the camp chair is approximately aligned under the bearing cover Oil gallery 7 arranged.
- the oil gallery 7 runs with its axis approximately parallel to the axis the crankshaft 52.
- a bearing bracket oil bore 72 provided that runs approximately parallel to the axis of the bearing cap screws and in the bearing cap contact surface 53 opens out.
- One is aligned with the bearing bracket bore 72
- Bearing cover bore 71 ' provided with an approximately transverse Bearing cover bore 71 is connected.
- the bearing cap bore 71 opens into the Bearing cover contact surface, which is on the side of the bearing cover in the direction of rotation (through indicated by the arrow). This will place the oil at one point on the crankshaft fed, which is located above the lower half of the bearing in the warehouse.
- the Bearing bracket bore also axially offset from the cutting plane selected here become.
- several bearing cap or bearing block oil holes can also be used be attached.
- the cavity here consists of an essentially axial to Bearing cap screw bore 74 through which the screw head opposite end.
- Two transverse bores 73 open into an annular space 75 which communicates with the bearing cover oil bore 71 stands.
- the two transverse bores 73 are provided here on the one hand to ensure sufficient flow opening, on the other hand, the cross section of the Do not weaken the bearing cap screw too much.
- the one attached to the camp chair Bore for the bearing cap screw 71 opens directly or indirectly (via a Bearing seat oil hole 72) in the oil gallery 7. With a direct connection between the Oil gallery 7 and the bore receiving the bearing cap screw forms the latter even the bearing block oil hole 72.
- the oil gallery 7 can be aligned directly with the Bearing cap screw axis or the bore receiving it also laterally offset if necessary in connection with a further cross hole in the Bearing cap screw can be arranged.
