Definitions
- the present invention relates to a tongue and groove connection for panels, especially floor panels, such as Laminate flooring, finished parquet, veneer flooring or cork panels, wherein the connection at least two opposite one another Panel edges is provided and on the a groove on one side with one starting from the groove base Projection and on the other side with a double spring two parallel springs separated by a space has and wherein the connection has a locking contour for glue-free mutual positive locking two connected panels.
- a tongue and groove connection for panels of the above Art is known from DE 100 08 108 C1.
- the panel has a spring parallel to the top of the panel extending slot and the groove has in the bottom of the groove a wedge-shaped projection, which when plugged together Panels engage in the slot.
- the Tip of the wedge-shaped projection lies at the level of the Slot in the spring and engages when plugged together two panels in the slot and forces the two Spring parts to the outside. This is intended to ensure secure locking achieved as well as the stability in the tongue and groove connection be increased by the two parts of the spring at their free ends through the wedge-shaped projection be supported.
- each also a tongue and groove includes. It is essential with this connection that the Locking contour of one of the two panels, functionally separated from the tongue and groove connection Bolt spigot includes that in non-positive or positive Engagement with an engagement element on the adjacent panel is feasible. With this connection it is guaranteed that a height offset between each other connected panels can no longer occur, however is this connection in terms of resilience against pulling apart connected panels not yet optimal. Although it is intended for enlargement resistance to pull apart to extend the locking pin from neighboring panels and accordingly the one required on the other side Deeper deepening, but this leads to an increasingly diminishing stability of the one Edge area of the panels.
- a tongue and groove connection of the aforementioned To create a way that avoids the disadvantages outlined and with which in particular a reliable and stable Connection of two adjacent panels is possible, whereby a height offset between the connected panels is excluded should be.
- laying and connecting the panels with each other be hassle-free and simple.
- the assembly of the locking contour is in this arrangement two panels advantageous when laying them possible that a new panel to be attached simply in the level of the already installed panels on the last installed panel and then up to his brought the final installation to the already installed panel becomes.
- clamping or pressing tools known per se such as tension belts or tapping block and hammer become. Due to its design, the tongue and groove connection very good for a glueless installation of Panels suitable. If necessary, especially to ensure absolute moisture tightness in the area the connection, an indication of glue in the Area of connection.
- connection is provided on the longitudinal edges of the panels.
- connection is also useful provided on the front edges. With these panels can It is advantageous to join two panels first along the long edges. After that it is the last attached panel can still be moved in its longitudinal direction, so that it is simply by such a longitudinal displacement then also on its front edge in engagement with the front adjacent, previously laid panel can be brought is.
- the plane of the panel face from which the grooves or the springs run out, at least in the top of the panel adjacent part at an angle a of is less than 90 ° to the top of the panel and that the panels are in their connected state below considered their top in connection direction Have a distance from each other. This is a gap-free Laying the panels easier, so that the Danger of moisture seeping into the connection areas is avoided.
- the density remains Also receive installation if within e.g. of a floor if there are slight changes in inclination are not greater than the difference between the angle a and 90 °.
- the angle a is preferably between 86 and 88 °, particularly preferably about 87 °. This relatively little of Right angle deviating angle a is sufficient to achieve this the clearance described above for the installed Panels, while maintaining the desired adaptability preserved on the dome of the underground remains.
- the depth of the space between the springs up to the level of the panel edge of the associated panel is sufficient.
- the gap is due this limited depth relatively easy to manufacture; a greater depth of the space than specified here is not necessary because an enlargement of the Depth no longer affects the flexibility of the springs Has.
- the web is preferred when laying the panels at its free end with rounded or chamfered Edges executed.
- the apex angle of the elevation and depression is between 90 and 120 °, preferably about 105 °.
- An alternative embodiment provides that the survey with mutually asymmetrical flanks is formed, the flank being that of the spring-bearing Panel edge is flatter than the other Flank of the elevation. This configuration ensures that for assembling the panels a smaller one Strength is sufficient as the force required to pull apart two panels must be applied.
- the invention further proposes that the upper spring of the top of the panel has a distance that is larger is the distance of the lower tongue from the bottom of the panel.
- This different spacing makes it easier later separation of two panels as required Tilting against each other because of the greater distance the top spring from the top of the panel here relatively large radius from that in the surface of the top of the panel lying pivot axis up to the upper spring is present.
- the larger this swivel radius the less the spring is used for tilting the panels claimed their separation, so that accordingly Risk of damage to the spring becomes smaller.
- the invention proposes that compliance the connection between the panels by variation the depth of the grooves and / or the gap can be changed is.
- This offers the advantage that compliance the connection is also available from the manufacturer of the Panels can be affected, since usually the panels initially without grooves and tongues with smooth edges to be produced. The grooves and tongues are only then retrofitted in appropriate processing lines. Because the material properties of the panels themselves can no longer be changed after their production by changing the depths mentioned, the completeness of the Connection without changing the material properties of the Panels can still be influenced in the desired way on the one hand, the panels move together as smoothly as possible to be able to connect and on the other hand to unite the panels sufficient solid cohesion even with glueless To give laying.
- FIG. 1 shows the right edge area of a first on the left Panel 1 and on the right the left edge area of a second panels 2.
- the two panels 1, 2 are by means of a tongue and groove connection.
- the Laying order runs from left to right; panel 1 is therefore first laid and then the panel 2 attached to it.
- the tongue and groove connection here consists of a double groove with two grooves 21, 22 in the right panel 2 and a double spring with two springs 11, 12 on the left panel 1. Die Springs 11, 12 protrude from the panel 2 facing End face 10 of the first panel 1 in front. Corresponding are the associated grooves 21, 22 in the first panel 1 facing end face 20 of the second panel 2.
- the tongue and groove connection includes a positive connection Locking, which is formed by a locking contour.
- the locking contour here consists of an elevation 14, which the upper flat side of the upper spring 11 is provided, and an opposite recess 24, the top in the upper groove 21 is attached.
- the survey 14 and the Recess 24 are triangular in cross section, the apex angle ⁇ here being approximately 105 °.
- the free end of the springs 11, 12 is, respectively, starting from the bottom, with a skid-shaped rounding 15 executed, the assembly of the panels 1, 2 and especially a later separation of the Panels 1, 2 relieved.
- Panel 1 at a distance from the top of the panel 16 and above the upper spring 11 has a flat recess 18, which forms a glue pocket. If necessary, this serves glue pocket formed by the recess 18 for receiving of glue if the laying of panels 1, 2 not done without glue. Due to the design of the tongue and groove connection panels 1, 2 are both glue-free laying as well as laying with information of glue possible. If glue is used in the laying should be before the second panel is attached 2 in the corner area between the flat recess 18 and the top of the upper spring 11 applied.
- the drawing figure 1 illustrates that here the panels 1, 2 have a relatively large thickness; this is particularly present when the panels are 1, 2 is finished parquet.
- the panels 1, 2 multilayer, here constructed in three layers. At least the top layer of the two panels 1, 2 preferably consists of one Real wood layer that is of such a thickness that if necessary grinding and resealing one parquet flooring formed from panels 1, 2 according to a certain service life and a certain wear is.
- FIG. 1 also shows by means of dashed lines, that the depths of the grooves 21, 22 and the depth of the Interspace 13 can be varied. Through this variation becomes the flexibility of the web 23 and the springs 11, 12 varies in the desired ranges, so that affects the compliance of the connection as a whole can be made without the material from which the panels 1, 2 exist, must be changed.
- Figure 2 of the drawing shows the same representation like Figure 1 also two interconnected panels 1, 2, which are panels 1, 2 of a laminate floor is.
- a laminate floor should be one total thickness as small as possible in order to have a to enable subsequent laying without a large material application on an already existing floor occurs.
- the panels 1, 2 to be joined together simply by Move in the panel plane against each other until the springs 11, 12 engage in the grooves 21, 22 and the locking engages by means of the locking contour 14, 24.
- the one to be removed Panel here panel 2, at its free, in the Drawing figure each raised edge not visible is, causing a pivoting relative to the panel 1 around an axis that runs along the parting plane between the two panels 1, 2 at the top of the panel 16, 26 runs.
- Separability of the panels 1, 2 without damaging the Springs 11, 12 also contribute to the springs 11, 12 their free end starting from their underside are provided with a skid-shaped fillet 15.
- Panels 1, 2 thus offer when connected excellent cohesion even when laying without glue, at the same time the possibility of a need subsequent separation is preserved without damage. Finally, if necessary, there is also a layer with glue addition possible, whereby an absolutely firm connection is achieved will, however, no longer be harmless is solvable.
- Known materials can be used as material for the panels 1, 2, for example HDF (high density fiberboard), but also all other plate materials made of wood or Plastic that can be machined with profiling tools are used. With sufficiently strong materials the total thickness of the panels 1, 2 can be less than 10 mm, which is particularly advantageous for laminate floors is, so that despite the use of a double groove 21, 22 and double spring 11, 12 for connecting the panels 1, 2 no additional material thickness is required.
- the connection described above can be independent are used for the intended use of panels 1, 2, So both with floor panels and with wall or Ceiling panels.
