Definitions
- the invention is in the field of electrical components and is in the design of vacuum interrupters apply where at least one of the two Contacts has an inner contact area that one outer contact area serving to extinguish the arc axially dominated.
- Vacuum interrupters with contact arrangements of the type mentioned are known.
- the two contacts of which in usually only one is axially movable to another with circular or slightly conical contact surfaces, facing each other.
- Contacts called as “Impeller electrodes” or “spiral contacts” are formed, have an inner, for switching operating currents provided contact area and an outer, the inner Contact area concentrically surrounding, for switching off provided by short-circuit currents and as a tread for one rotating arc serving contact area.
- there the inner contact area projects beyond the outer contact area by a certain, not very large amount (US 3,158,719 A, US 3,809,836 A).
- Vacuum interrupters are also known, in which the for switching of operating currents provided contact area identical to that for switching off short-circuit currents
- the intended contact area is.
- These contacts are pot-like formed, the wall of the pot and optionally also the contact ring with several on the rim of the pot Slits are provided that are oblique to the longitudinal axis of the Contact arrangement run. Through these slots the Contact area can be divided into several contact sub-areas (DE 23 21 753 A1, DE 29 12 823 A1).
- the invention provides that the inner contact area consists of several, on a pitch circle there are adjacent contact sub-areas, each contact portion from the free end a resilient, inclined against the axis of the contact arrangement Contact tongue is formed.
- Such a configuration of the contact arrangement enables it, the one intended for switching operating currents Contact area in a larger number of about three to ten Subdivide areas, these areas as resilient Form contact tongues, each with a counter contact piece faces and the contact tongues by appropriate Dimensioning of the spring constant as far from each other mechanically to decouple that in the closed state of the contact arrangement all sections have the same contact pressure Experienced.
- the resilient contact tongues can be arrange so that when opening and closing the contact system a rubbing movement and thus an abrasion in shape of metal chips is avoided.
- the contact tongues can have enough design space worked out of a flat, conical shell be by axially slitting the shell wall several times.
- the spring constant is particularly due to the thickness of the Shell wall and the number of slots or the width of the Variable contact tongues. Similar conditions exist, if the contact blades come from a flat, hollow truncated cone due to multiple axial slits in the cone shell are worked out.
- pot contacts can also be used be worked out of a piece of pipe by its wall is provided with several oblique slots.
- the described design of the contact tongues can be used with spiral contacts as well as with pot contacts apply.
- the body used for the reeds can be made of dispersion-hardened copper, a special Copper alloy or from a copper-chrome material with small chromium content. It is manufactured separately and in the middle of each contact in a corresponding Arranged recess and soldered to the rest of the contact body.
- the contact arrangement according to FIG. 1 consists of an upper one Contact 1 and a lower contact 2 along an axis A with mutually facing contact surfaces axially assigned to each other are.
- One contact is there - not closer shown, but known way - axially movable.
- everyone of the two contacts 1 and 2 is with a power supply 3 or 4 provided.
- each contact is a so-called "spiral contact" trained according to European patent 0 532 513 B1
- each slot 5 consists of two sections, of which the first section runs parallel to one to the circumference a circular recess 6 tangent and the second section of which consists of a hole, those in the area of the inner end of the first section Contact area between the first section and the circular Recess 6 breaks through.
- the outside of the recess 6 lying area of the contact forms an outer contact area 7, for switching off short-circuit currents is provided and as a tread for a rotating Arc serves.
- the recess 6 is so deep that it has an additional Contact body 8 can accommodate an inner Contact area 9 forms.
- This inner contact area 9, the is intended for switching operating currents the outer, arranged concentrically to the inner contact area Contact area 7 axially by a certain length a for example 2 mm.
- the contact body 8 has the shape of a flat, conical shell, the shell wall in axial Direction is slit several times. Through this slit 12th a plurality of contact subregions 10 are formed.
- the one with the Contact piece 1 or 2 soldered bottom of the bowl-shaped Contact body 8 is not slotted, so that by the Slitting several inclined against the axis A of the contact arrangement, resilient contact tongues 11 are formed, the free Each end forms a contact portion 10.
- contact area 13 is the inner one Contact area forming contact area 13 as a flat, hollow Truncated cone formed, the shell of which is axially slit several times is. However, this slit does not go to the base of the truncated cone to the contact body as a whole to be able to solder the respective contact piece.
- a hollow cylinder in the form of a pipe section 14 used, according to Figure 5 with oblique to the axis of the contact arrangement extending slots 15 is provided, whereby resilient contact tongues 16 are formed.
- At the top contact 1 is a contact piece within the pipe section 14 17 arranged, the 1 and 2 forms a mechanical support. With operating currents this contact piece also carries the current, which results in the least Let contact resistances be achieved. In the case of short-circuit currents take over at the beginning of the withdrawal of the additional Contact piece 17, i.e. with a slight increase in Contact resistance, the resilient contact areas of the tubular Contact body 14 and prevent current flow such a complete lifting and welding of the contact system.
- FIGS. 6 and 7 shows one Pot contact 18, the slotted wall at the edge of the pot with an annular contact disc 19 is covered, wherein this contact disk the outer contact area of the contact forms.
- a contact body 20 within the pot contact arranged, which is similar to the contact body 14 according to the figures 4 and 5 is formed and consists of a tube piece, the wall of which has a plurality of sloping slots 21 is provided.
