Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren zur Beseitigung von an der inneren Oberfläche eines Waffenrohres (1) befindlichen Beschichtungs- und/oder Erosionsschäden.
Um zu erreichen, daß derartige Schäden auf einfache und kostengünstige Weise repariert werden können, ohne daß dabei eine nennenswerte Reduzierung des tragenden Rohrquerschnittes des jeweiligen Waffenrohres (1) eintritt, schlägt die Erfindung vor, die schadhaften Rohrbereiche (3) durch einen entsprechenden Beschichtungswerkstoff (11) auszufüllen, so daß eine geschlossene Rohroberfläche entsteht. Das Beschichtungsverfahren und der Beschichtungswerkstoff sind dabei derart aufeinander abgestimmt, daß die Rohrinnenoberfläche lokal repariert wird, ohne daß sich die mechanischen, metallographischen und metallurgischen Werkstoffeigenschaften des Werkstoffes des Waffenrohres (1) verändern. Nach Durchführung der Beschichtung wird dann die innere Oberfläche des Waffenrohres (1) mittels Drehen, Schleifen oder Honen mechanisch nachbearbeitet.
