Definitions

  • the invention relates to a window or a door with a sliding fitting of the type specified in the preamble of claim 1.
  • a movable sash can be transferred with respect to its fixed frame at least between three and possibly four positions, namely a closed position, a shut-off position, an open position and possibly a tilt position.
  • the ends of the displacement path are each determined by a pair of stop surfaces and counter surfaces.
  • the one stop and counter surface pair ensures an alignment of the sash with respect to the frame opening, so that a defined clearance air remains between the sash and the frame during the transition to the closed position.
  • This rebate air is required for trouble-free reversal of the closing means in the rebate area.
  • These locking devices usually consist of pins on the wing and striking plates on the frame.
  • the stop surfaces are located on fixed elements at the end of the running rail.
  • the running rail is fixed in the lower area of the frame.
  • the element at the end of the displacement path consists of a buffer, which in the open position strikes the outer edge of the wing.
  • the element at the beginning of the displacement path consists of a control block, which in the parking position cooperates with connecting levers which are arranged between the drive in the rail of the frame on the one hand and the wing on the other.
  • the control block forms the stop surface and the connecting levers have the counter surface interacting therewith.
  • a locking arm is articulated on a drive rod which is guided in the sash.
  • the locking arm is initially intended to prevent the wing from closing when the wing is pivoted out.
  • the free end of the locking arm is then on a separate support stop of the frame.
  • the locking arm can be moved longitudinally between different heights when the drive rod is actuated via a door handle in the wing.
  • Locking profiles are also provided on the wing, which come into engagement with a counter-profile provided in the articulation area of the locking arm when the wing is in its swiveled-out position. Then the movement of the drive rod is blocked and the handle can no longer be operated. This is intended to avoid incorrect operation. Lateral stop and counter stop surfaces are neither provided nor required.
  • the invention has for its object to develop a window or a door with an inexpensive, reliable sliding fitting of the type specified in the preamble of claim 1, which avoids the disadvantages mentioned. This is achieved according to the invention by the measures set out in claim 1, which have the following special significance.
  • the fitting according to the invention goes a completely new way in comparison with the prior art.
  • the relevant stop surface in the invention sits at the end of a movable element which is attached to the side fold of the wing.
  • This element is referred to below as the “stop element”.
  • This stop element can be arranged at a considerable distance from the floor area, which is why contamination does not matter. In the event of contamination, however, cleaning can be carried out quickly and easily.
  • the movement of the stop element is to be understood in two ways. First of all, because it is attached to the fold of the wing, the stop element is movable together with the wing when it is moved between the four positions mentioned. Then, however, the stop element is in turn movable with its free stop end with respect to its attachment point on the wing.
  • Control surfaces are provided in the interior of the frame, which automatically move the stop end between two positions when the sash is adjusted between the parked or tilted position on the one hand and the closed position on the other hand.
  • the stop end In one position, which is in the parking position, the stop end protrudes far from the wing, which is why this position can be referred to as the "distance position".
  • the stop end In both positions, the stop end is supported on a counter surface which is arranged in the fold area of the frame.
  • the stop element according to the invention is hidden in the fold between the frame and sash and is not visible from the outside at all. In each of these positions, the stop end determines a defined clearance between the sash and frame. No components need to be attached or adjusted for the wing's impact action on the track. The good appearance of the window or door is ensured.
  • a door is provided with a sliding fitting, of which only the first exemplary embodiment of a stop element 30 according to the invention is shown in the drawings 5 to 9.
  • the remaining elements of this sliding fitting are of a conventional type and are not shown in detail.
  • the door consists of a stationary frame 10 and a movable leaf 20, which can be moved into different positions 20.1 to 20.4 with respect to the frame opening 13 to be closed by the leaf 20. These positions are characterized by means of an auxiliary line 20.1 to 20.4 through the outer front edge of the left side wing spar 21, which can assume four different positions with respect to the corresponding left side frame spar 11.
  • the reversal between the four positions is initially carried out by actuating a handle 40 seated on the wing spar 21, which by its adjustment acts on corresponding control elements, which are also of conventional construction.
  • a push rod 41 of the transmission can only be seen in FIG. 6, which is located in a longitudinal groove 23 of the wing spar 21 and is covered by a faceplate 42.
  • FIG. 1a and 1b show the so-called "closed position" of the wing 20, which is identified by the auxiliary line 20.1.
  • the wing 20 engages with its profile in the opening 13 of the frame 10, as can be seen from the position of the respective left spars 11, 21 in FIG. 6.
  • the door is closed.
  • the handle 40 By moving the handle 40, the wing 20 in its 2a and 2b indicated by the auxiliary line 20.2 in "tilted position" where the frame opening 13 is partially released.
  • the wing 20 is then in an inclined position to the frame plane.
  • the wing 20 can also be transferred to a so-called “parking position", which is shown in FIGS. 3a and 3b and is identified by the auxiliary line 20.3.
  • the wing 20 is located in a parallel plane to the frame 10 and takes up the parking distance 27 shown in FIG. 3b.
  • This parking position 20.3 is also shown in the corresponding FIGS. 7 and 8.
  • This parking distance 27 is determined on the one hand by a running rail, not shown, on the frame 10 and, on the other hand, by a running carriage on the wing 20 guided on this rail.
  • these components of the sliding fitting are conventional and not shown in detail.
  • This track extends parallel to the frame level.
  • the running rail and the running gear permit a lateral displacement of the wing 20, illustrated in FIG. 4a by an arrow 44, into a so-called "open position" of FIGS. 4a, 4b.
  • This open position is identified by the auxiliary line 20.4 in FIGS. 4a and 4b.
  • an actuation of the handle 40 may also be required if, e.g. the previous parking position 20.3 of Fig. 3a, 3b of the wing 20 was locked.
  • the wing 20 is located in a plane parallel to the frame 10.
  • the displacement path 45 of the wing 20 is marked. 3a, the wing 20 is located at the beginning of this displacement path 45 and in FIG. 4a at the end thereof.
  • a stop element 30 is shown, which sits on the wing 20, but is movably arranged, as a comparison with the corresponding FIGS. 7 and 8 teaches.
  • a lever serves as a stop element 30, which is connected between the two with the auxiliary line 30.1 in FIG. 5 and the auxiliary line 30.2 in FIG. 7 apparent end position in the sense of the double arrow 33 is pivotable.
  • This lever 30 will hereinafter be referred to as a "stop lever” for reasons that will become apparent.
  • the stop lever 30 is, as the cutout in FIG. 5 shows and as the section of FIG. 6 shows particularly well, articulated on the fold 24 of the left side wing spar 21 at 25.
  • the pivot axis 25 permits a pivoting movement 33 in a plane parallel to the fold 24 of the wing 20.
  • the wing 20 in FIGS. 5 and 6 is in its closed position 20.1.
  • the lever 30 has at least at its free end 34 a first stop surface 31 pointing towards the fold of the frame spar 11. As can be seen in FIG. 6, this stop surface 31 is assigned a counter surface 15 in the adjacent frame fold 14. These surfaces 31, 15 are in contact with one another in the closed position 20.1 of FIGS. 5 and 6 and thus determine a defined position of the wing 20 with respect to the frame 10.
  • the stop lever 30 secures the rebate clearance X illustrated in FIG. 6 between the sash rebate 24 and the frame rebate 14.
  • This rebate clearance X ensures a defined, trouble-free movement of the linkage belonging to the sliding fitting. This linkage is e.g.
  • the stop lever is also designed as a square bar, the lever width 36 of which corresponds to the clearance X.
  • the lever 30 In the closed position 20.1, the lever 30 is in the first inclination end position 30.1 already mentioned, where its end 34 is in a position very close to the wing 20, which is why this position 30.1 will be referred to below as the "near position".
  • This proximity 30.1 is determined by the fact that the lever end 34 is in an inclined position and at one in the interior of the frame provided control surface 16 supports. It is useful to provide a spring load that loads the stop lever 30 in the direction of the force arrow 26 of FIG. 5.
  • the control surface 16 is formed by the inner surface of the frame rollover 17, which covers the folded air X on the viewing side.
  • This distance position 30.2 can be defined by a rotary end stop 28.
  • This rotary end stop 28 simply consists of a stop pin 28 or the like, which sits on the sash rebate 24.
  • the aforementioned spring could also serve this purpose, which has fully relaxed and therefore limits the inclination of the distance position 30.2 from the lever 30. In this case, a rotary stop 28 would be unnecessary.
  • the above-described first stop surface 31 is also in contact with the frame fold 14. An adjacent area of the frame fold 14 now acts as a counter surface 15. The rebate clearance X is thus already ensured in this parking position 20.3.
  • Corresponding stop functions are generated by the same stop lever 30 when the full open position 20.4 of the wing 20 shown in FIG. 9 is present.
  • the conditions shown in FIGS. 4a and 4b are present.
  • the stop lever 30 is in its distance position 30.2 projecting from the wing 20, which was already explained in the preceding position 20.3 in FIG. 7.
  • the fixed rotary end stop 28 is also effective in FIG. 9.
  • the decisive difference, however, is that the wing 20 is at the end of the displacement path 45 described.
  • the left wing spar 21 is now in alignment with the opposite right frame spar 12. Now a second one provided on the stop lever 30 becomes Stop surface 32 effective, which is assigned its own counter surface 18 on the right frame spar 12.
  • this counter surface 18 is again identical to the frame fold 19 of this right frame spar 12.
  • the path of the displacement 44 of the wing 20 designated in FIG. 4 a is thus fixed. This ensures that in the open position 20.4 the outer fold 24 of the left side wing spar 21 is aligned with the frame fold 19 of the right side frame spar 12.
  • FIGS. 10a to 10c A modified embodiment 50 of the stop lever is shown in FIGS. 10a to 10c. It differs from the previous stop lever 30 in that its end region is forked, that is to say it has two fork legs 51, 52, the outer distance 53 of which again corresponds to the desired clearance X of FIG. 6.
  • the abovementioned stop surfaces 31, 32 are located here on the mutually facing outer surfaces 54, 55 of the two fork legs 51, 52.
  • This forked stop lever 50 is formed in one piece from sheet-like material.
  • the pivot axis 25 described above is created by an articulated connection 56 with a tab 29. This tab 29 is fastened to the sash rebate 24 by screwing means 39.
  • 11a and 11b show a third embodiment 60 of the stop element which consists of two levers 61, 62. These levers 61, 62 are mounted on a common pivot axis 25 of a mounting bracket 29 via a common pivot pin 56. One lever 61 carries the described first stop surface 31 at its end, while the other stop surface 32 is located on the outer flank of the second lever 62. Both levers 61, 62 are loaded by gravity and / or a spring, not shown in the sense of the two arrows 46, 47. Your force load 46, 47 strives to move the two levers 61, 62 against each other, which can be limited by suitable end stops. 11a and 11b show a situation corresponding to FIGS.
  • control surface 16 is expediently formed, as in the first exemplary embodiment of FIGS. 5 and 6, by the inner surface 16 of the frame flap 17.
  • the stop element according to the invention does not have to be a lever in every case. Sliders could also be used, which are automatically adjustable between the described distance position and near position, depending on the position of the wing. Another possibility would be to form the stop element from telescopically longitudinally sliding members. In this case, one thrust link is attached in the area of the sash rebate and the other thrust link interacts with the frame.
