Definitions

  • the invention relates to a hand strap grinder according to the preamble of claim 1, such as known from the document GB-A-352754 ,
  • the hand belt grinder according to the invention with the features of claim 1 is smaller, more manageable and cheaper in comparison to known hand belt grinders while maintaining the basic advantages of the belt grinder, which consist in high removal and achieved longitudinal grinding structure during processing.
  • the drive design results in a saving of stepped shafts and their storage.
  • a hand strap grinder 10 is shown as an embodiment of a hand strap grinder having a housing 11 with an upper side, z. B. approximately strip-shaped, handle 12 has.
  • the handle 12 includes on the upper side in the right in Fig. 1 area designed as a slide switch 13, via which the means of an electrical line 14 supplied electrical energy is controllable, which serves to power a generally designated 15 drive within the housing 11.
  • the drive 15 has a particular electric motor 16 with gear 17 and is used to drive a grinding belt 18 shown only schematically, which is rotatably feasible via a rotatably driven drive roller 19 and a spaced apart in the housing 11 rotatably mounted guide roller 20 and by rotational drive of the drive roller 19 is drivable.
  • the housing 11 is a substantially longitudinally extending, multi-part structure whose individual parts are detachably assembled, for example, connected by means of screws, clipped or connected in any other way.
  • the outer diameter of the drive roller 19 is greater than that of the guide roller 20 which is held on a shaft 21 which at both ends by means of bearings 22, 23, z. B. needle bearings, is rotatably mounted in associated bearing receivers 24 and 25 of the housing 11.
  • the drive 15, consisting of motor 16 and gear 17, is indicated only schematically, wherein it can be seen that the motor 16 is aligned with its longitudinal central axis 26 transversely to the longitudinal course of the grinding belt 18, in particular of the upper and lower belt run.
  • the transmission 17 of the drive 15, which is also shown only schematically, adjoins the end of the motor 16 in a substantially gapless manner in FIGS. 2 and 4 and extends in series with the motor 16, a motor pinion (not further shown) forming the output of the motor 16, the engages the gear 17 to the drive.
  • the gear 17 is advantageously designed as a two-stage planetary gear and has at the right in Fig. 2 and 4 axial end an output, zBin the form of a in Fig. 2 only schematically indicated, about the longitudinal center axis 26 rotating output pin 27th
  • the drive roller 19 for the grinding belt 18 is coaxial with the drive 15 and thus arranged to the longitudinal central axis 26 and rotatably supported by bearings 28 and 29 in the housing 11.
  • the bearing 29 is received in an associated bearing seat 30 of the housing 11.
  • the drive roller 19 is from the transmission output, z. B. via the output pin 27, directly driven.
  • the drive roller 19 is arranged concentrically and with respect to the longitudinal central axis 26 coaxial with the drive 15, and in such a way that it extends axially approximately over the entire axial extent of the transmission 17.
  • the drive roller 19 is approximately bell-shaped or cup-shaped and has in this embodiment, a substantially cylindrical pot wall 31 and an integral bottom 32, which carries a coaxial pin 33, with which the drive roller 19 by means of the bearing 29, z. B.
  • the drive roller 19 is in this design a one-piece component. It is by means of the bearing 28, z. B..in the form of a needle bearing, located on the inside of the drive 15, z. B. the gear 17 of this surrounding pot wall 31 is located, directly on the drive 15 or, as shown in Fig. 2 and 4, rotatably mounted on a surrounding the drive 15 sleeve 34 of the housing 11. In direct storage by means of the bearing 28 on the drive 15, for example on the circumference of the transmission 17, the sleeve 34 is omitted completely or at least partially.
  • the drive roller 19 is looped around on the outside of the pot wall 31 by the grinding belt 18.
  • the coaxial to the drive 15 drive roller 49 is in an advantageous manner to that in Figs. 2 and 4 right axial end of the drive 15, in particular the transmission 17, attachable and thereby with the transmission output, z. B. the output pin 27, which represents the output of the second stage of the planetary gear, connectable.
  • the sanding belt 18 is supported by a sliding toothed belt 35 which faces the toothed side of the drive roller 19 with its teeth 36 and likewise the deflection roller 20.
  • the drive roller 19 and in the same way the guide roller 20 has on the outside in each case a counter toothing with teeth 37 and 38, with which the grinding toothed belt 35 is in positive engagement.
  • a connection is provided by means of a surface adhesive, in particular a hook-and-loop fastener, generally designated 39.
  • the layer of the hooks on the outside of the abrasive toothed belt 35 facing away from the teeth 36 is provided while the suede layer is applied on the back surface of the abrasive belt 18.
  • the surface adhesive 39 allows a detachable, durable for the grinding process and force-transmitting connection between the removable abrasive belt 18 and the grinding timing belt 35.
  • this connection means of the surface adhesive 39 setting and adjusting devices for adjusting the belt tension can be omitted. Due to the positive connection of the grinding belt 18 with the driven grinding toothed belt 35, there is no slippage, which would otherwise generate unnecessary heat and would lead to heavy damage to the drive roller 19 and the abrasive belt 18.
  • the drive roller 19 is arranged coaxially with the drive 15 and so that it with its pot wall 31, the drive 15 at least over part of the axial length, for.
  • the axial length of the transmission 17, covers and surrounds in the circumferential direction, results in a particularly low design of Handbandschleifers10, which is thereby small, handy and cost-effective while maintaining the basic advantages of the belt sander high removal rate and longitudinal grinding structure.
  • the drive 15, in particular the motor 16 and the gear 17, can be accommodated in the housing 11 to save space in this design.
  • the series arrangement of the transmission 17 coaxial with the motor 16 results in a saving of step waves and their storage.
  • the drive The grinding belt 18 takes place in the peripheral region of the drive 16 and in extension of the motor shaft of the motor 16.
