Definitions

  • the invention relates to a bottom inlet according to the preamble of patent claim 1.
  • Soil gutters are known to be used in a ceiling or foundation slab of a structure and serve to drain the surface water, either as a so-called single inlet or as a gutter bottom inlet.
  • Out DE 195 48 621 is a Bodeneinlauf known with a pot-like cylindrical lower part, which is embedded in the ground and has an annular or a segment-shaped bottom plate, which is connected to a rising panel surface. Parallel to the console surface and to her at a distance an inclined baffle is welded to the side wall of the lower part, wherein the free end edge of the desk surface is arranged as an overflow edge near the longitudinal axis. An outlet connection connects down to the base plate.
  • a bottom well that has a pot-like base that has a drain neck.
  • the pot-like lower part is provided with an overflow edge, which engages over a bell.
  • the bell is held by a lid of the bottom inlet and centered. set over the outlet nozzle.
  • the inner wall portion of the cup-shaped lower part is in contact with a connecting pipe piece and extends substantially vertically.
  • the inner wall portion merges at an oblique angle into an outer wall portion having at its end a flange for supporting the lid.
  • the invention has for its object to provide a bottom inlet, which ensures an effective water drainage and odor trap at relatively low height and allows easy installation.
  • an inner wall portion is provided, which is connected via a rounded transition portion with the lower end of the outer wall of the lower part and extends upwardly therefrom to form a circumferential gap, in which engages the side wall of the odor trap bell.
  • the downcomer is connected via a rounded, the overflow edge forming portion with the upper end of the intermediate wall to form a receiving space for the end of a connecting pipe.
  • the drain neck can be drawn into the area of the water mask, whereby the height of a floor drain is significantly reduced. This is particularly the case when the lower end of the downcomer is not lower than the first rounded portion between the inner and outer wall.
  • the connecting pipe can be inserted into the intermediate space between the discharge nozzle and the inner wall portion and sealingly connected to the discharge nozzle, as known per se.
  • a particularly simple embodiment is to allow the outer wall of the lower part and the inner wall section to extend upright or vertically, wherein the cross section is preferably cylindrical, rectangular or square.
  • the cross section is preferably cylindrical, rectangular or square.
  • at least the lower part is preferably produced in one piece by deep drawing.
  • the bell which may be reversed cup-shaped, may also be integrally formed from sheet material.
  • the flow behavior is improved when the inner wall portion extends obliquely upwards and the side wall of the bell has a thickness which allows a third rounded transition section complementary to the first rounded portion. In this way, gentle deflection sections are formed by radii, which allow a rapid flow of water.
  • the bell is formed from sheet material, it is expedient to make the side wall double-walled, so that unnecessary deflection or deflection arise.
  • the flow behavior is further improved by the fact that the inside of the side wall of the bell is approximately parallel to the inner wall portion, or with a certain divergence such that the distance between the wall sections to the overflow edge increases slightly.
  • the distance between the outer wall of the lower part and the inner wall portion decreases from above.
  • a gap of uniform cross section is preferably provided.
  • the bell must be suitably mounted in the base.
  • One embodiment provides for this that the bell is supported by feet of the side wall on the first rounded portion. It can also be ensured that the bell is centered in the lower part is arranged by appropriate spacers or the like.
  • the ceiling portion of the bell may extend over attached feet on the second rounded portion, i. the overflow edge, support. Again, by appropriate means, a centering of the bell can be obtained.
  • Fig. 1 is a cup-shaped lower part 10 is shown with a cylindrical outer wall 12, a cylindrical inner wall portion 14 and a cylindrical discharge nozzle 16.
  • the wall sections 12, 14 and 16 are approximately parallel to each other and spaced from each other, wherein the wall sections 12, 14 via a first rounded portion 18 and the wall portions 14, 16 are interconnected via a second rounded portion 20. It can be seen that between the outer wall 12 of the cup-shaped lower part 10 and the inner wall portion 14, an upwardly open circumferential gap 22 is formed. Between the wall sections 14, 16 a downwardly open receiving space 24 is formed.
  • the entire cup-shaped lower part 10 is integrally formed from sheet material by deep drawing. Alternatively, a welded construction can also be provided.
  • a bell 26 with a ceiling portion 28 and a cylindrical wall portion 30 forms with the wall portions 14, 16 of the lower part 10 a siphon-like odor trap.
  • the wall 30 is in the gap 22, wherein at the bottom of the wall 30 feet 33 are formed, which stand on the rounded portion 18. Spacers or the like, not shown, ensure that the bell 26 is centered in the pot-shaped lower part 10.
  • outlet nozzle 16 is drawn into the lower part 10 in the so-called template area for the water of the odor trap.
  • the lower free end of the downcomer 16 is even higher than the lower first rounded portion 18. This gives the entire bottom inlet a very low height.
  • a drain pipe 32 or a corresponding sleeve is inserted into the intermediate space 14 and pushed onto the discharge nozzle 16, wherein a sealing ring 34, which sits in an extension of the tube 22, ensures adequate sealing.
  • the upper end of the base 10 is flared, as shown at 36, for receiving a lid 38 having holes or slots.
  • the surface water enters the inlet and flows first between the wall sections 12 and 30 down, then upwards between the wall sections 30 and 14, wherein it undergoes a gentle deflection by the first rounded portion 18.
  • the upflowing water flows inwardly over the overflow edge formed by the second rounded portion 20, and then subsequently drains via the downcomer 16 and the pipe 32.
  • the water remains up to the level of the rounded portion 20 in the lower part 10 and thus forms the desired odor trap.
  • the cup-shaped lower part 10a after Fig. 2 also has a cylindrical vertical outer wall portion 12, which merges via a rounded portion 18a in an inner wall portion 14a, but which is inclined inwards to the vertical. Then the drainage pipe 16 connects via the second rounded portion 20a, which in turn forms the overflow edge.
  • the Particularity of this embodiment in the bell 26 a is also preferably formed of sheet material and that two-ply. In the ceiling section 28a, the two metal layers are directly adjacent to each other.
  • the sheet metal layers 40 and 42 form a sidewall 30a of substantial thickness to form a relatively wide annular interior 44.
  • the inner layer 40 is approximately parallel to the inner wall portion 14a, but the gap between these wall portions slightly increases upward.
  • the layer 42 forms with the outer wall 12 a gap which tapers from top to bottom. It is essential that between the layers 40, 42 at the lower end of a rounded portion 46 is formed, which forms an approximately uniform gap with the rounded portion 18 a and ensures a gentle deflection of the water flow.
  • the embodiment described is particularly suitable for the accumulation of large amounts of water.
  • the side wall 12 of the base 10a is laterally bent at the upper end, as shown at 48.
  • a lid 50 is placed, through the openings 52 water can enter from above.
  • the flow pattern of the water corresponds approximately to that of the embodiment Fig. 1 , wherein, as mentioned, in all deflections of the flow always a large radius is used, resulting in a low flow resistance.
