Definitions
- the invention relates to a sheet-fed rotary printing machine for multi-color printing according to the Preamble of claim 1.
- a major problem is in sheet-fed rotary printing presses for multi-color printing the transport of the printed sheets from the feeder to the delivery through all printing units.
- the individual printing units are finished Sheet transport drums connected to each other. This arrangement has the disadvantage that the printed sheet is always more or less rigid.
- chain conveyor systems running in the sheet-fed rotary printing press to provide.
- the printing sheet is opened in front of the first printing unit a gripper car, which then takes the sheet in a gripper close to Handover to a boom system.
- DE 3 936 345 C2 describes a sheet-processing printing machine for multi-color printing described. It has several printing units in a row, the are connected by an endless chain conveyor system.
- the gripper car of the chain conveyor system are around the top of double-sized impression cylinders Guided around in waves, they pass through the pressure zones one after the other of all printing units and are returned under the machine to the first printing unit.
- the print sheets are transferred from the feeder to a pre-gripper system Feed drum and from there onto the gripper wagon, which is just at first Impression cylinder is located, handed over. After printing out the last color the sheet is led to a delivery system and handed over there. Doing the printed sheet only for transfer to the gripper carriage and for delivery to the Boom system experienced gripper changes, but based on the accuracy of fit of the prints have no influence.
- a disadvantage of this design is that the machine has a very long extension has special precautions for its operation.
- the Printed sheets have to overcome a relatively large difference in height by using them from the height level of the feeder down to the area of the printing units and from down there to the level of the boom. To fairly space-consuming transitions in the sheet guide are necessary. The whole Arrangement is therefore inefficient. It is also over the entire length of the printing press seen a more or less large number depending on the number of colors unused by grab carts when returning from the boom system to the system table. Furthermore, the printing units are relatively difficult to access.
- DEPS 933 927 describes a sheet-fed printing machine with a delivery chain.
- the publication relates to a gravure printing machine for single color printing.
- the boom is located next to the feeder to improve operability.
- the chain conveyor system to the delivery is based on the working height of the printing unit upwards and parallel to the feed table in a relatively wide arc up to Boom stack guided.
- the printed sheet is replaced by appropriate Guide of the chain conveyor system turned over, so that the printed sheet with the printed side comes up on the delivery stack.
- Sheet transport can be used as a combination of chain conveyor systems as well also be carried out by sheet transport drums and chain conveyor systems. About that It is also possible to assign entire printing unit units for both one-sided as well as to design two-sided printing.
- a sheet-fed rotary printing press shown in FIG. 1 consists of several printing units 1 to 4.
- the printing units 1 to 4 are provided and exist as offset printing units each from a plate cylinder 6 with an ink and a dampening unit, one Rubber cylinder 7 and an impression cylinder 8.
- the arrangement is conventional, the impression cylinders 8 with each other by means of sheet transport drums 9 are connected.
- a chain conveyor system 11 To the sheet guide elements, namely the impression cylinder 8 and the sheet guide drums 5, a chain conveyor system 11 follows. This chain conveyor system 11 is from the last impression cylinder 6 up to the top of the printing units 1 to 4 and there at a distance from the printing unit elements over the entire sheet-fed rotary printing press returned.
- the printed sheets 10 are separated from the sheet stack in a sheet feeder 12, guided over a short feed table 22 and with the help of a pre-gripper or, as here shown, a feed drum 17 directly to a sheet guide drum 5 and after passed to the first impression cylinder 8. Then each sheet overflows the sheet guide drums 5 and impression cylinders 8 through all printing zones Printing units 1 to 4.
- the printing sheets are from the printing cylinder 8 of the last printing unit 4 10 passed to the chain conveyor system 11 and by means of it on the top the sheet-fed rotary printing machine from the upper run 11B of the chain conveyor system 11 returned.
- the printed sheets 10 can be from a sheet guiding device be guided in a transport level.
- This sheet guiding device can from passive elements such as Sheet guide plates or from an active sheet guideway, which contains fan assemblies exist. After the return of the Printing sheet up to over the first printing unit 1, this is from the chain conveyor system 11 out to the sheet stack of a sheet delivery 14 and stored there.
- the printed sheets 10 are deposited around the right side by the chain conveyor system 11 guided a turning sheet 15 so that the printed side faces up again .. Furthermore, on the now running in the working direction of the sheet-fed rotary printing press Run 11A of the printed sheets 10 over the sheet stack of the sheet delivery 14 are guided away and arranged on a separate lifting device Waste stack 18 can be designed. This is the automatic change the sheet stack in the sheet delivery 14 and also the excretion of test or Waste sheets in the simplest possible way.
- the logistics system consists of a feed roller conveyor A, a pallet transport system B and a discharge roller conveyor C. Sheet stacks are deposited on the feed roller conveyor A with the aid of conveying means D and are fed to the sheet feeder 12 by means of the latter.
- a stack changing device 12A is provided there for the automatic and continuous replacement of the sheet stacks in the sheet feeder 12. After the sheet stack in the sheet feeder 12 has been largely processed, a pallet carrying the remainder of the stack is removed from the sheet feeder 12 and deposited on the pallet transport system C by means of the said stack changing device 12A, while a new sheet stack is simultaneously fed to the sheet feeder 12.
- the empty pallet can now be guided on the pallet transport system C, which connects the sheet feeder 12 with the sheet delivery 14, to the sheet delivery 14.
- rotary elements C1 are provided in FIG. 1, by means of which the pallet can be rotated in any direction and thus be transported further in the correct direction.
- a feed device for additional pallets can also be provided in the pallet transport system C if more pallets are required in the sheet delivery 14 than are cleared by the sheet feeder 12.
- the sheet delivery 14 is of course also equipped with an automatic stack changing device of a suitable type.
- the pallet transport system C can also be used as a storage section for excess pallets. Furthermore, the pallet transport system C can be provided with a removal device, by means of which pallets with a stack remnant that is no longer required or pallets with a stack of sheets that cannot be processed in the sheet feeder 12 or the stack changing device 12A can be removed without the stack supply and removal on the To hinder the operator side of the sheet-fed rotary printing machine.
- the stack feed or the stack change on sheet feeder 12 and sheet delivery 14 can in principle be carried out from both sides or in all directions of the logistics system, so that sheet stacks can also be re-used both in sheet feeder 12 and in sheet delivery 14.
- the advantage of this machine is that the logistics for processing the printing material is centrally located.
- the assignment can still be varied to a certain extent.
- the machine configuration described results in an extremely long drying section with improved operation thanks to short operating paths.
- the order is chosen so that large stack heights without using base arrangements in the sheet feeder and especially in the sheet delivery.
- integrated waste delivery in the area of logistics When using the waste delivery the automatic stack change on the sheet delivery 14 can thereby be improved be that any gap during the batch change process is generated in the arc stream.
- Fig. 2 essentially corresponds to that 1. It is also provided with a logistics center, but this is not here is shown.
- a further working unit 5 is provided in contrast to Fig. 1 is here after the impression cylinder 8 of the last printing unit 4, a further working unit 5 is provided.
- the press sheets 10 are fed to this work unit by sheet transport drums 23. If the Sheet transport drums 23 can be designed in the manner of impression cylinders these coating units 24 are assigned to the printed sheet to be able to finish on both sides with varnish or other coating materials.
- the Printed sheets are then the chain conveyor system via a further sheet transport drum 23 11 fed.
- the last work unit 5 in the form of a drum transfer unit can be configured in a very advantageous manner as additional work equipment.
- the printed sheets can be calendered, i.e.
- one of the coating units 24 mentioned can be in the form of a Flexographic printing unit can be used.
- Fig. 3 is the sheet-fed rotary printing press already described by others Printing units 30, 31 added. These are by means of a chain conveyor system 32 with a last sheet guide drum 5 of the printing unit 4 connected.
- the printing units 30, 31 are designed as overhead printing units, the impression cylinder 33 on the Top and the transfer cylinder 34 and forme cylinder 35 with the color and Dampening units 36 are arranged below.
- the printed sheets are sent to a further chain conveyor system 37 pass, which then leads the printed sheets to the chain conveyor system 11 with which the printed sheets can then be laid out on the sheet delivery 14.
- Become the printing units 30, 31 can also not require the printing sheets from the chain conveyor system 32 directly to the chain conveyor system 11 for return transport to the sheet delivery 14 are handed over.
- FIG. 4 shows a sheet-fed rotary printing press by means of which multicolored perfecting is possible.
- Arrangement of the printing units 1 to 4 a second equivalent arrangement of Printing units 41 to 44 placed. However, these printing units 41 to 44 are in their Direction of rotation of those of the printing units 1 to 4 arranged opposite.
- a chain conveyor system 45 Between the last printing unit 4 of the lower press and the first printing unit 41 of the upper one Machine is a chain conveyor system 45 arranged, the printing sheets of the upper Feeds the machine so that its unprinted back by means of the printing units 41st up to 44 can be printed.
- the printed sheets are with the same gripper edge transported in advance as in the lower printing units 1 to 4.
- Following the Printing unit 44 is the now shortened chain conveyor system 11 for delivering the printed sheets arranged on the sheet delivery 14.
- This machine consists of standard parts and enables the perfecting in a simple way without complicated Turning devices.
- All sheet transport means can sheet guiding means in the form of mechanical guidance devices, pneumatic guidance devices or combinations thereof. The same applies to the assignment of drying aids.
- a different printing method can also be used in each of the configurations described applied, e.g. direct or indirect flexographic printing, direct or indirect gravure printing, waterless offset printing or various coating processes. These procedures can all be integrated into the described logistics procedures.
