Definitions
- the invention relates to a crockery basket for a dishwasher and a drainer for this.
- the holder of the crockery parts Wire basket baskets with a Plastic coating used. Doing so for the different Dishes specific brackets provided, so that achieves the best possible cleaning and drying effect becomes. For the drying effect it is advantageous if the water after the last rinse cycle as completely as possible of the dishes drains away. With the dishes, however, especially at their deepest points and at the points of contact water drops stick to the wire mesh of the crockery basket.
- FIG. 9 shows an example of one in a plate holder 1a Dish basket standing plate 12. Between one Support rod 2 of the crockery basket and the plate 12 and between Holding rods 3a and 3b of the crockery basket and the plate 12 water drops stick (in Fig. 9 as dotted areas shown), which are evaporated during the dry phase have to.
- the dishes are used to evaporate the water drops during the last rinse cycle is heated by hot rinsing liquid, so that the evaporation is increased.
- this requires an additional energy expenditure and also here is the Energy required for evaporation and duration of the dry phase the amount of water adhering to the dishes dependent.
- the support elements and / or holding elements a crockery basket for storing the crockery parts at least in the support area of the crockery parts on the support elements and / or holding elements with a capillary-like element educated.
- the capillary-like element guides this normally in the support area between the crockery part and the crockery basket sticking water along the support element or the Holding element away from the dishes. This will decrease the drop size or water in the support area is completely derived from this area, so that the for Drying of the dishes or the necessary time Reduced thermal energy and the drying phase quickly and can be carried out in an energy-saving manner.
- the property is created by the capillary-like element exploited the water that the water in materials, that are wetted by the water, on edges or cavities preferably crawls along.
- the capillary action leads e.g. that the wetting water in a capillary tube or on an edge of a material gravity lifts up. In the present case by the capillary effect the derivation of one on the contact surface dripping stick between the dish and the basket supported down.
- Support elements and holding elements as such are in themselves known elements of a conventional crockery basket.
- the support elements are e.g. the support elements two parallel bars at the bottom of the crockery basket and the holding elements two parallel and inclined rods.
- For cups serve generally grid-shaped elements on the bottom of the crockery basket as a support and holding element.
- the support element or holding element according to the invention can be formed in several parts, the capillary action by parallel, slightly spaced parts or by Butt edges of the individual parts of the respective support element causes can be.
- a drainer is for a crockery basket provided, which is preferably tilted in the middle below Dishware runs.
- the drainer is advantageously in the area of the formation of "drip noses" at the bottom of the Parts of crockery, especially when standing in a plate holder stored plates, provided.
- the drainer must be there are not necessarily in contact with the dishes.
- For the derivation is also sufficient if it is spaced from the crockery part is arranged so that between the dishes and a water bridge through the on the crockery sticking water is formed.
- the drainer has a capillary effect Element to derive from.
- this is sectionally sloping, i.e. e.g. in Shape of a sawtooth line. This ensures that the drainer with differently stored plates in a plate holder Size that varies between the support bars sag deeply to the bottom of the plate is adjusted. It is avoided that the plate on rests on the drainer and is therefore asymmetrical in the plate holder comes to rest.
- this is capillary acting element a capillary-like recess, the in the support element, the holding element or the drainer is trained.
- the recess can be a triangular, have a rectangular or circular section-shaped cross section.
- the capillary action is particularly great when the Cross-sectional dimension of the capillary-like recess in comparison to the cross section of the support element, the holding element or the drainer is small.
- the capillary-like recess can e.g. in a horizontal Direction or vertical direction from the contact area of the Guide away the dishes.
- the water can also by the capillary action of the capillary-like recess not sucked up again and directed towards the dishes become.
- the drainage of water from the interface between the Support element, the holding element or the drainer and the Crockery part is favored if the support surface or neighboring surface (if, as in the case of the drainer, the dishes not directly resting) is kept as small as possible. This will achieved particularly advantageously in that the bearing surface or adjacent surface of the support element, the holding element or the drainer is tapered and the capillary-like recess adjacent to the tip or in the The tip is integrated.
- the holding element or the drainer adhering drop increases, so that the capillary action of capillary-like recess against the adhesion of the drop between the crockery part and the support element, the holding element or the drainer is favored.
- these can be the support element, the holding element or the Drainer at least in the area of the contact surface or Neighboring area between the support element, the holding element or the drainer and the dishes a porous structure exhibit. Due to the small dimensions of the porous structures the capillary action is also achieved here and the water derived from the dishes.
- the drainage of water in the capillary-like recesses or in the porous structure is also favored by the fact that at least as the material of the support elements or holding elements a material is used in the area of the contact surface, which is particularly well wetted by water. Alternatively the contact areas can also be made with such a material be coated.
- the crockery basket can be drawer-like in a conventional manner Extract stored in the dishwasher or can be provided as an insert for a crockery basket.
- the crockery basket insert and the drawer-like Extract made from different materials be, the one optimized for the water drainage properties is, while the drawer-like pull-out for the mechanical Stability is optimized.
- the crockery basket insert can then be removed as a whole from the drawer Extract and e.g. for storing the Serving dishes so that the dishes are not individually from the basket insert removed and stacked separately.
- a drainer for a dish rack provided that a capillary-like shape for deriving of water adhering to a piece of crockery.
- the capillary effect resulting from the capillary-like formation corresponds to that above in relation to the support element, the holding element or the drainage described capillary action.
- the draining element is used in a conventional crockery basket Provided places where usually no immediate Touch between a set piece of crockery and the crockery basket is available. As explained above, forms at the lowest point in the basket Tellers a "drip nose" that runs incompletely and sticks to the plate after the rinse cycle. Because of the large distance from the support elements on which the plate the water cannot be drained up to these. On the other hand, if such a draining element is e.g. on one Cross bar that connects the two support elements for the plates connects, provided, the drainer touches the Plate near the bottom point or only from it little apart.
- a water bridge forms between the plate and the draining element.
- the rinse cycle due to the on the drainer trained, capillary-like formation the water from the plate derived away to the draining element. The derivation takes place here despite a distance between the plate and the draining element. Even if the next position of the draining element to the plate is located above the lowest edge of the plate the surface tension and capillary force of the drops Draining element derived.
- the capillary is Forming an edge between the draining element and e.g. one Rack of the crockery basket.
- the drainer can also a depression can be provided in the direction of the lattice bar, so that there is a gap between the lattice bar and the draining element, along which the water is drained.
- the capillary-like formation a recess in the draining element or a head start that is conveniently top to bottom run on the draining element.
- the projections arises the capillary action between the side walls of the projection and the side surface of the drainer which forms an edge.
- the draining element tapers to its lower end, so that the water drained down becomes a Teardrop shape that due to the low adhesion to the draining element drains from this.
- the draining element is formed as a single part, which to a conventional Dish rack is attachable.
- the remaining amount of water adhering to the dishes can be achieved by a combination of the elements described above a basket can be reduced very much.
- the capillary corresponding elements are also corresponding to that described below Drip tray or e.g. applicable to a cup support.
- Fig. 1 shows schematically a section of plate recordings 1a, 1b, 1c of a crockery basket.
- the set plate is on the bottom of a horizontal one Edition 2 on. Spaced on the support rod 2 holding rods 3a, 3b which are inclined slightly upwards that keep the plate in an inclined position.
- Both in the support bar 2 and in the holding bars 3a, 3b are drainage channels 4 embedded, along which the Contact surface between the support bar 2 or the support bars 3a, 3b and the plate set in the plate holder 1 adhering water drained down from the contact area becomes.
- the horizontal one Drainage channel 4a is in its middle area a discharge channel 4b connected to the drop water vertically derives downwards.

- the support bar 7 is sawtooth-like in the direction of the support bars 2a, 2b trained (sloping in sections), where, as can be seen from Fig. 5, the highest point of the upper edge the ridge 6 in the vicinity of two opposite holding rods 3 lies and in the direction of the support rods 2a, 2b up to the next opposite holding rods 3 drops where the next section starts with an increasing level.
- this sawtooth pattern is adapted to the drip tray 7 to different sized plates, which are in the plate holders 1a, 1b, 1c can be set so that the distance between the deepest edge of the plate and the drip tray 7 approximately constant is.
- the inclined section favors Shape of the drip tray 7 the drainage of the water.
- the upper edge of the ridge 6 can, but does not have to be outside the box be sure to touch that at the lowest point of the standing to remove stuck water from the stored plates, because during the rinse aid is formed between the rim of the plate and the drip tray a "water bridge" that during the dry phase only tears off when the water is almost complete has run off the plate. This prevents larger amounts of water stay behind and lead to dry spots.
- the shape of the drainage channels 4 can correspond to the above in With reference to the support rods 2 and support rods 3 described drain channels 4, 4a to 4e.
