Abstract
Description
Dieses Leitelement bildet je nach Schwenkstellung einen Kanal für die Sendungen zwischen seiner Seitenwand in dem jeweiligen äußeren durchgehenden Transportriemen.
Laufen die Sendungen durch den Weichenbereich, ist es möglich, daß insbesondere gebogene oder geknickte Sendungen gegen das Schwenklager stoßen und eine Störung auslösen. Damit ein ordnungsgemäßer Ablauf in der Sortiermaschine gewährleistet ist, muß sich das Ablenkelement in seiner jeweiligen Endstellung befinden, bevor eine Sendung in die Weiche einläuft. Sollen die Abstände zwischen den Sendungen für einen hohen Maschinendurchsatz möglichst klein gehalten werden, müßten die Ablenkelemente der Weichen schon zu einem Zeitpunkt umschalten, zu dem die vorherige Sendung die Weiche noch nicht verlassen hat. Dies ist aber in diesem Fall nur eingeschränkt möglich, da bei einem zeitigen Umschalten die vorherige Sendung mit ihren hinteren Bereichen gegen einen Transportriemen gedrückt wird, wodurch entweder die Sendung zerstört werden kann oder die Weiche nicht ordnungsgemäß schalten kann.

Claims (3)
- Weiche für flache, flexible Sendungen in einer Sendungssortiermaschine, wobei die Sendungen mit ihren Seitenflächen zwischen zwei Transportriemen (4, 5) eines Deckbandsystems eingeklemmt an- und wahlweise in eine von zwei Richtungen abtransportiert werden, die Transportriemen (4, 5) schmaler als die Höhen der eingeklemmten Sendungen sind, ein Ablenkelement eine Aussparung für die Transportriemen aufweist, so daß es in die Richtung der abtransportierenden Transportriemen (4, 5) schwenkbar ist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das Ablenkelement aus zwei in Transportrichtung nebeneinander befindlichen und miteinander außerhalb des Brieflaufes fest verbundenen, starren Teilablenkelementen (1,2) mit einer gemeinsamen Schwenkachse (3) besteht, zwischen denen die Sendungen leitbar sind, daß sich die gemeinsame Schwenkachse (3) seitlich außerhalb der im Weichenbereich auseinanderlaufenden Transportriemen (4,5) im vorderen Teil des Weichenbereiches in Transportrichtung gesehen befindet, wobei je nach Weichenstellung die entsprechende Sendung zwischen einem der beiden Teilablenkelemente (1,2) und den jeweiligen äußeren Transportriemen (4,5) in die ausgewählte Richtung geleitet wird und das andere Teilablenkelement (1,2) sich dabei vollständig außerhalb der im Weichenbereich auseinanderlaufenden Transportriemen (4,5) befindet.
- Weiche nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß am Beginn des Weichenbereiches die durchgehenden Transportriemen (4,5) an einer Umlenkrolle (6) in die abführenden Richtungen umgelenkt werden und die Achse der Umlenkrolle (6) gleichzeitig die Schwenkachse (3) des Ablenkelementes (1,2) ist.
- Weiche nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als Schwenkelementantrieb ein ansteuerbarer Drehantrieb mit zwei einstellbaren Endstellungen vorgesehen ist.
