Die Erfindung betrifft eine Weiche für flache, flexible Sendungen

bekannten Weichen befindet sich am Ende des Weichenbereiches
in Transportrichtung zwischen den beiden Eingängen der abführenden
Deckbandsysteme das Schwenklager eines keilförmigen,
entgegen der Transportrichtung gerichteten Leitelementes.
Dieses Leitelement bildet je nach Schwenkstellung einen Kanal
für die Sendungen zwischen seiner Seitenwand in dem jeweiligen
äußeren durchgehenden Transportriemen.
Laufen die Sendungen durch den Weichenbereich, ist es möglich,
daß insbesondere gebogene oder geknickte Sendungen gegen
das Schwenklager stoßen und eine Störung auslösen. Damit
ein ordnungsgemäßer Ablauf in der Sortiermaschine gewährleistet
ist, muß sich das Ablenkelement in seiner jeweiligen
Endstellung befinden, bevor eine Sendung in die Weiche einläuft.
Sollen die Abstände zwischen den Sendungen für einen
hohen Maschinendurchsatz möglichst klein gehalten werden,
müßten die Ablenkelemente der Weichen schon zu einem Zeitpunkt
umschalten, zu dem die vorherige Sendung die Weiche
noch nicht verlassen hat. Dies ist aber in diesem Fall nur
eingeschränkt möglich, da bei einem zeitigen Umschalten die
vorherige Sendung mit ihren hinteren Bereichen gegen einen
Transportriemen gedrückt wird, wodurch entweder die Sendung
zerstört werden kann oder die Weiche nicht ordnungsgemäß

wird. Die auseinanderlaufenden Transportriemen 4,5 müssen
nicht zwangsläufig durchgehend sein, sie können auch über
Rollen getrennt werden. Am Beginn des Weichenbereiches, annähernd

Seite der beiden Transportriemen 4,5 befindet sich die
Schwenkachse 3 des Ablenkelementes. Dieses Ablenkelement besteht
aus zwei starren Teilablenkelementen 1,2 die in Transportrichtung
nebeneinander und annähernd parallel zueinander
angeordnet sind. Sie sind außerhalb der Brieflaufebene, in
diesem Fall unterhalb über eine Bodenplatte fest miteinander
verbunden. Die Teil-ablenkelemente 1,2 sind nach rechts geschwenkt
und leiten somit die Sendungen zwischen dem Teilablenkelement
1 und dem Transportriemen 4 in den rechten

ausführen können, ohne dabei die Transportriemen

nicht im Sendungslaufbereich, sondern neben diesem angeordnet
ist. Damit können insbesondere gebogene und geknickte
Sendungen den Weichenbereich frei passieren. Sollen die
Abstände zwischen den Sendungen möglichst gering sein, so muß
die Weiche umgeschaltet werden, wenn die vorherige Sendung
den Weichenbereich noch nicht vollständig verlassen hat. Dabei
wird dann der hintere Teil der vorherigen Sendung in die
andere Richtung umgebogen, ein störendes Drücken dieser Sendungen
gegen die Transportriemen, wie bei der Darlegung des
