Definitions
- the invention relates to a roll winder roller with a Surface at the periphery and openings in the surface, which are connected via channels with air intake volumes stand.
- the invention further relates to a method for producing a roll winder roller, in which the roll winder roller with openings and adjoining them Provide channels in their peripheral surface becomes.
- Such a roll winder roller is from the post-published German patent application 198 12 723 known.
- the invention is described below using a double carrier roller winder with such a roll winder roller described. But it is also with other roll winders usable where similar requirements consist. Furthermore, the invention using the example of Winding a paper web into a paper web roll described. The problems that arise from this arise but also when winding other material webs.
- Paper webs are produced almost "endlessly”. You need to hence, in order to be handled, to winding rolls be wound up.
- the winding roll lie in a changing bed by two carrier rollers is formed.
- the paper web is fed so that it partially wraps around one of the two support rollers.
- the invention has for its object the manufacture to simplify.
- This task is the in a roll winder type mentioned solved in that the air intake volumes are arranged in a porous layer.
- the layer is a predetermined one Has air absorption capacity. Materials like this are trained, can be relative in many cases easy to handle so that the manufacture of the roll winder roller with a relatively small amount of handling can be done. If editing such Layer is necessary, this is usually also associated with relatively little effort, because a porous material in a machining tool usually opposes less resistance than a solid material.
- the porous material is under Perhaps so permeable to air that when stationary Roll compressed air from the changing bed through the porous one Step through the layer and exit through openings that could be placed outside of the changing bed and are not covered by the paper web. Since the Roller winder roller in operation but turns, this is Problem largely theoretical.
- the porous Layer sets such an air flow sufficient resistance so that the corresponding Roll sections with increased air pressure have already been applied to the changing bed again have left before the compressed air comes out elsewhere could.
- the porous layer therefore has an adequate one Throttling ability.
- the porous layer is preferably at its radial Provide an airtight cover on the inside. This prevents the compressed air from becoming radial can pass through the porous layer. Pressure losses in This keeps the changing bed small.
- the air intake volumes are preferably marked by Cavities are formed in the porous layer.
- Man can then also use materials for the porous layer, which in itself has a low air absorption capacity or have less porosity. In this case becomes the majority of those adhering to the paper web Air is taken up and guided in the respective cavities there to a slight increase in pressure. You could in extreme cases even materials for the porous layer use, where the air absorption capacity is realized that the material on the boundary wall the cavities are elastically deformed.
- the cavities are preferably designed as hollow cylinders, whose diameter is larger than the diameter the channels is. Such cavities can be easily manufacture, for example by drilling or by punching. Because the diameter of the hollow cylinder is larger than the diameter of the channels is sufficient Volume available, and the orientation of the Cavities to the channels become easier.
- the porous layer radially within a load-bearing Roll shell is arranged.
- the roller shell takes over then the function, the paper web and the paper roll mechanically supported.
- the porous layer takes over then the function, the corresponding air intake volumes to provide.
- a porous layer with a relatively low strength use is arranged.
- the porous layer is preferably made of a cylindrical shape curved mat formed under internal stress rests radially on the inside of the roll shell. This simplifies it the production. You can spread the mat out Edit condition if necessary. Then the mat is simply rolled up in a cylindrical shape and inserted into the roll shell. There would like to unroll it again, but is Roll jacket prevented. So the mat is with sufficient security attached with roller jacket. An additional adhesive connection is possible, however not absolutely necessary in all cases.
- the porous layer is preferably foamed or lattice-like material.
- Such Materials are in the form of foams or sintered or ceramic materials as semi-finished products.
- the task is also through a procedure of the beginning mentioned type solved in which a mat from a bendable material with a predetermined air absorption capacity bent into a cylinder and into a through a cavity formed cavity is used.
- the inside of the mat is covered with a airtight cover.
- This cover can be formed by a plastic film because only low pressures and forces act here.
- Recesses created in the mat are designed to absorb air. In the aerial view, one is in the recesses about increased air pressure, which may then occur can degrade into the mat. If these recesses can still create when the mat is flat or spread out, then the processing very easy.
- the recesses through the thickness of the mat.
- the recesses can be done simply by punching or drilling be generated.
- the position of the recesses is preferably brought in accordance with the position of the channels. In this Then the channels open into the recesses, which creates the desired air absorption capacity of the mat is achieved.
- Fig. 1 shows a double carrier roll winder 1 for winding a paper web 3 to a paper roll 2.
- Die Paper roll 2 is in a changing bed 4, the by a first support roller 5 and a second support roller 6 is formed. At least one support roller 5, 6, preferably both support rollers 5, 5 are driven.
- a blow box 7 with a compressed air connection 8 arranged by the compressed air in the direction of a Arrow 9 can be blown into the changing bed. This creates an overpressure, which is the weight of the paper roll 2 at least partially relieved.
- the supporting roller 5 has the one in FIG. 1 schematically shown structure.
- the support roller 5 has first an elastic surface layer 11. Under the surface layer 11, i.e. radially further inside, a "porous" layer is arranged, which in turn a core 13 surrounding the actual mechanical Support function of the support roller 5 fulfilled.
- the support roller 5 has a peripheral surface 14 with a plurality of openings 15 which are connected to channels 16, which penetrate the surface layer 11. The canals 15 therefore open at the porous layer 12.
- the porous Layer 12 has some due to its porosity Air intake volume, i.e. Air that is coming in Paper web 3 adheres, can through the openings 15 and the channels 16 penetrate into the porous layer 12.
- the porous layer then serves as a buffer for the incoming air, i.e. it takes in the air but puts a certain resistance to the further flow opposite. This is enough to get the on the paper roll 2 to create an escape space for adhering air.
- the flow resistance is porous Layer 12 so large that compressed air from the winding bed 4th is not able to, or only to a very limited extent the porous layer to get to areas that are outside of the winding bed 4 and not from the paper web 3 are covered.
- the air loss through the porous So layers are kept very small. Of course, some compressed air enters the porous layer on. This is then after leaving the changing bed 4 released into the environment again. Notable losses are not connected to it.
- Fig. 2 shows another embodiment of a support roller 5 '.
- the support roller 5 ' also has an elastic Surface layer 11, arranged in the openings 15 are that continue in channels 16.
- the canals 16 penetrate both the elastic surface layer 11 as well as a roller jacket 17.
- the roller jacket 17 is exactly like the core 13 in the support roller 5 after Fig. 1, able to absorb the forces when Winding the paper roll 2 arise.
- the porous layer 12 ' is arranged.
- On its radial inside is airtight Foil 18 attached.
- This Recesses 19 provide an air intake volume In which the air from the openings 14 forth can penetrate, the walls of these recesses 19 can be slightly permeable to air.
- Layer 12 ' consists of one shown in FIG Mat 20 into which the recesses 19 are punched or are drilled. Push through the recesses 19 the mat 20 over its entire thickness. The recesses are then closed by the film 18. The so prepared mat 20 is bent into a cylinder. As a result, the recesses 19 expand something in the circumferential direction. The cylinder shaped Mat 20 is inserted into the roller jacket 17. You just have to make sure that the recesses 19 overlap with the channels 16. But this is easily possible because of the recesses 19 a larger diameter or a larger clear Width than 16 channels. Because of their inherent elasticity the mat 20 is then stretched into the roll shell 17. At the joint edges where the two Should touch the ends of the mat 20 again, too a gap will arise as long as no channels in this gap 16 mouth.
- the openings 15 can be along an axis parallel Line be arranged. But you can also get one such an axially parallel line a predetermined Take angles, which has the advantage that even at higher Rotation speeds a howling sound can be largely avoided. Because of the air intake Material of the porous layer 12, 12 ' this noise is already muffled anyway.
- the recesses 19 can also be replaced by grooves, which are milled or cut into the mat 20. These grooves can be arranged, for example, that with a "rolled up" mat parallel to one axially parallel line. But you can also if the openings 15 have a corresponding arrangement, at a predetermined angle to such axially parallel line can be arranged. The edited like this The mat is then bent together and into the Cavity arranged in the roll core, so that the Grooves of the inner wall of the roll core are facing. The Openings 15 then open into the corresponding grooves, which are closed on the front and thus the air intake volumes form. The front closure can either be realized by the grooves not over the entire axial length of the mat 20 lets pass, or by having after installation the mat 20 in the roller shell 17 closure pieces starts.
