Definitions
- the invention relates to grinding sets, but in particular not exclusively from sets of lids of a revolving card.
- the invention is suitable for installing a grinding device in the card, but is not on it Restricted, could therefore be used in a device that is on demand attached to a card and carried from card to card.
- the invention is designed in such a way that the device can be used while the card is running. Also however, this is not a limitation, the invention could be in one device be used, which only works when the card is stopped.
- EP-C-322637 has presented a grinding device that is in constant use or is ready for use. This device can be used to grind a lid set a corresponding embodiment is shown in Figure 3 of EP-C-322637 has been explained below with reference to FIG. 2 of this application, which is why there is no further treatment here.
- the invention provides a grinding device, which is characterized in that a A variety of individual grinding elements is provided between the tips of the penetrate the clothing to be ground, paint over the head parts of the tips and them can grind in the process.
- the grinding elements are preferably elastically bendable.
- the grinding elements can be arranged such that they operate over the Working width of the card can be distributed.
- they can be used by one elongated carriers are worn, e.g. so that each abrasive element at one end is attached to the carrier and from its attachment point across the carrier protrudes.
- the arrangement can be made such that when the grinding elements are used up (no longer usable) by replacing the carrier can be replaced.
- the carriers can be formed as half-shells e.g. according to the principle that in connection with Figures 4 and 5 of DE Utility model 94 14 196 was declared.
- the grinder may comprise a carrier which is movable, e.g. rotatable, can be assembled.
- the carrier can be operated on the card frame by means of a Holder in an approximately predetermined relationship to the revolving cover assembly be installed, e.g. such that the lids are ground during the "rewind" become.
- the grinding elements, the carrier and the holder can together be a device form, which is built into the card, e.g. such that the device with the card is put into operation itself.
- the card can be a drive or a Control for the grinder include.
- the device could be like this be designed so that it can be attached to the card, e.g. one own drive or control.
- the fiber material is in the form of dissolved and cleaned flakes fed into the chute 2, from one Briseur or Vorreisseer 3 adopted as a wadding, a drum or Pass drum 4 and dissolved and cleaned by a traveling cover set 5, the a closed path along deflection rollers 6 in opposite or opposite directions is driven to the direction of rotation of the drum 4. Fibers from the drum 4 located nonwoven fabric are then removed by a customer 7 and in a outfeed section 8 consisting of different rolls to form a card sliver 9 educated. This card sliver 9 is then from a sliver 10 in a Transport can 11 stored in a cycloidal manner.
- the revolving cover set 5 includes Revolving flat bars, which are not shown individually in Fig. 1, but in Fig. 2, or Fig. 3 with the reference numeral 13 are indicated. Each rod 13 has a set 14 Mistake.
- the covers 13 in the revolving cover set 5 move in a "lead" from one Entry point E to an exit point A. During the advance, the Carding done. On the “return” the lids are attached to one Cleaning point 60 cleaned - the cleaning device is subsequently based on the Fig. 3 explained in more detail. Then e.g. the cover 13 at position 62 be ground according to EP-C-322 637, as will be explained with reference to FIG. 2.
- Fig. 2 shows a grinding device 32 which is acted on the revolving flat bars 13.
- the Grinding device 32 comprises a trough-shaped container with two side walls 33 and one Cover plate 34.
- the free edges 36 of the walls 33 run parallel to each other on the revolving cover 13 abutting grinder 32 or perpendicular to Direction of movement of the clothing 14.
- a flexible Band trained carrier 37 attached, which extends along the cover 13 (perpendicular to the drawing level) extends over its entire length.
- On its the traveling cover 13 facing the carrier 37 has an abrasive coating which e.g. from fine Abrasive particles, in particular diamond powder, can consist.
- the carrier 37 can for example a metallic thin strip, a fabric or plastic with a Be an abrasion coating that complies with local irregularities, i.e. the geometric shape of the surface defined by the tooth tips of the set, adapts, but is not deformed by the grinding forces. In addition, he may not Form wrinkles.
- a hose 38 made of elastic material closed at both ends extends inside the trough-shaped container 33, 34 over its whole Length.
- the hose 38 can be filled with a desired fluid Pressure.
- the hose 38 thus exercises at any point on the Carrier 37 the same pressure.
- the carrier 37 is thereby over its entire Length pressed against the lid 13 and therefore lies with its abrasive coating evenly on the set 14.
- it also follows that even in the event of irregularities in the height of the tooth tips of the clothing 14 uniform application of the band 37 over the entire length of the cover 13 is available. This is because it is in an increase or decrease moving zones of the carrier 37 can only perform their movement if At the same time, zones adjacent to these zones perform movements which cause a parallel to the beam 37, i.e. 2 horizontal, movement component have.
- the grinder shown is only able to the outer end faces of the Handle wires of the lid set. Although the conventional grinders work similarly, the treatment is not at least for certain clothing types advantageous. In addition, the relative movement between the abrasive and the Set too slow if you rely on the movement of the covers 13.
- Fig. 3 shows a cleaning device with a pivotable device 16 which for this invention is irrelevant and is not described in detail here. Additionally includes the cleaning device is provided with bristles 50 and with a predetermined one Speed rotating brush 51, the bristles 50 on the one hand to the bottom of the Grab set 14 of the lid 13 and on the other hand in the swivel area 52 (through a dash-dotted circular line shown schematically) of the pivotable device 16 are sufficient, which, as can be seen from the figures, is equipped with clothing wires.
- the bristles are provided in a row and preferably helical arranged.
- the brush 51 extends over the entire working width.
- a hood 55 delimits a suction area 54.
- FIGS. 4 and 5 A preferred embodiment of the brush 51 is shown schematically in FIGS. 4 and 5 shown and will be described below, it being understood that the Brush 51 (Fig. 3) rotated via a shaft 57 by means of a drive (not shown) becomes.
- the shaft 57 is supported in bearings (not shown) that are in the side plates 20 are mounted.
- the shaft 57 can therefore not be easily removed from its carrier become.
- the brush 51 is, however, a wear part that is occasionally replaced got to.
- the brush consists of a sleeve 59 (Fig. 3) and the aforementioned Bristles 50 carried by the sleeve and extending in the radial direction from stretch the sleeve 59 away.
- the sleeve 59 is made of two "half-shells" 59A, of which the end parts of a half-shell are shown from the side in FIG. 5 are.
- Each half-shell has an outer cylindrical outer surface 62 and an inner one cylindrical surface 63, which sits well on the shaft 57 in the installed state.
- the two half-shells, which together form a sleeve 59, are identical, both regarding the structure of the sleeve part 59A itself as well as regarding the arrangement of the Blind holes 60, (Fig. 5) that receive the bristles 50. It is therefore not necessary to choose "a pair" of such half-shells 59A to form a brush 51 - every two half-shells fit together as well as any other.
- the bristles two assembled half shells 59A are therefore not mirror images of each other juxtaposed - they are arranged such that by rotating the brush 51 by 180 ° around the longitudinal axis of the shaft 57, the bristles 50 of the one half-shell 59A enter the previous positions of the bristles 50 of the other half-shells 59A.
- the half shells 59A are each with fasteners in the form of continuous Provided holes 61. This allows bolts (not shown) to pass through to connect the half-shell to the shaft 57.
- the shaft 57 assigns For this purpose, two rows of holes (not shown), each with one Provided internal thread, the holes in these rows with the holes 61st match.
- alternative (preferably easily detachable) fastening means can be used be provided.
- Figure 6 shows a first embodiment according to the present invention, which as Modification of the arrangement according to Figures 3 to 5 is formed. Accordingly are a flat bar 13 (including clothing 14), the sleeve 59 and the bristles 50 (if still present) is shown again schematically in FIG. 6. The direction of movement of the flat bar 13 and the direction of rotation of the sleeve 59 are by arrows indicated.
- the garnish 14 is as flexible or as semi-rigid set executed (see the aforementioned manual of textile production, Volume 2, page 52), the individual clothing elements 40 made of wire (flat wire or Round wire), each with a so-called knee 41 are formed.
- Bristles 50 are pushing down to the bottom of the set 14, i.e. down to the surface of the rod 13, from which the wires 40 protrude to thoroughly clean the clothing. But it is in In this case, only half of the circumference of the sleeve 59 is covered with bristles 50 the other half carries grinding elements 42, as described in more detail below with reference to FIGS. 9 or 10 is explained.
- the sleeve 59 serves in this case as a carrier for the Grinding elements 42, which together with their carrier and its holder Form grinder according to the invention.
- the grinding elements 42 are similar to the bristles 50, at least in that that they are formed as elongated, elastically bendable elements that are approximately radial protrude from the outer surface of the sleeve 59.
- the grinding elements 42 are also more flexible than the wires 40, so that in the event of contact with such an element a rotating piece with a relative movement of the element and the wire, the Grinding element 42 must give way.
- the elements 42 are, however, significantly shorter than that Bristles 50, so that they only the "head parts" of the clothing wires 40 (above the reach the respective knee 41) - see also FIGS. 7 and 8.
- the speed the free end area of each element 42 is still larger than that Speed of the clothing wires 40 in the direction of movement 15. As the Grinding elements 42 are moved past the clothing elements 40, they penetrate therefore in the set, with its free end regions on both sides of the head parts of the Wires are deflected (Fig. 7).
- each wire element is provided with a side grinding, i.e. the Side surfaces 43 (Figs. 7 and 8) converge outward in the radial direction to form an end edge 44.
- a side grinding i.e. the Side surfaces 43 (Figs. 7 and 8) converge outward in the radial direction to form an end edge 44.
- the Aggressiveness of the polishing or grinding effect depends on the design of the Abrasive elements and the speed of the relative movement. The optimal one Effect for a given wire type can be determined empirically.
- the grinder from the Cleaning device is independent, it need not have a sleeve 59 as a carrier and it doesn't have to be rotatable.
- the relative movement between the Grinding elements and the wires can hardly be moved solely by the movement of the wires direction 15 (Fig. 6), i.e. it’s usually not enough that the holder of the grinding device to the grinding elements stationary on the card frame fasten.
- the grinding elements could be linear along the Movement path of the flat bars 13 are moved, this arrangement too Problems could arise because it is generally undesirable for the abrasive elements hits the free end of a wire first. After a grinding stroke in one Direction that the grinding elements approach the free end of each wire "from behind” or sweeps over, the grinding elements would therefore have to be "pulled out” and open be returned to a beginning of the stroke, which is cumbersome and therefore expensive.
- the Lifting movement also requires a relatively large amount of space in the revolving lid assembly. From these For reasons, the carrier for the grinding elements is preferably rotatable in the card held, regardless of whether it is formed by half-shells 59A or as a cylindrical sleeve is. For the sake of simplicity, FIGS. 9 and 10 only show the latter option.
- the variant according to FIG. 9 comprises a helical arrangement of Grinding elements 42 along a cylindrical carrier.
- Each element is as one Bristle 45 (see in particular the detail - Fig. 9A) is formed.
- the bristles 45 are shorter 6 and the free end portion of each bristle 45 is coated with an abrasive to form an abrasive area.
- the coating consists e.g. made of hard particles 46 (abrasive grains, diamond grains or the like) attached to the bristle 45 by adhesive.
- the helical row of elements 42 extends the full length of the beam and therefore across the entire working range.
- On the side of the Sleeve 59 may mirror a second row of grinding elements to the first row to be ordered.
- the variant according to FIG. 10 also comprises a helical arrangement of Grinding elements 42, this time in the form of grinding flaps 47 (see in particular 10A), also with an abrasive in the form of hard (abrasive) particles are coated.
- the fins 47 can e.g. can be formed from “sandpaper”.
- FIG. 11 which is only partially shown, corresponds to that Variants according to Figures 9 and 10 when they by coating one Basic body is formed.
- the base body is a disk 48 available, both side surfaces of the disc are coated with hard particles, to form "emery discs".
- the disks can be annular and in the radial direction have a changing thickness so that they are on the outside Edge is thinner and thicker on the inner edge.
- the inner part of each disc can attached to a bracket (not shown) which rotatably mounts in the machine becomes. The attachment is accomplished in such a way that when turning the Rotate the washers 48 with the support.
- Form your outer (relatively thin) border areas resiliently bendable grinding areas similar to the free ends of the elements 42 operate in the solution of Fig. 7, i.e. they give way when they touch the head area of a wire, but slide over the side surfaces 43 and grind them.
- FIGS. 12 and 13 are designed differently in that they do not Have coatings, but an "aggressive" design of the base body operate yourself.
- the surface of each of the elastically bendable Body (or each “flexible finger") "profiled", in one case (Fig. 12) by Longitudinal ribs 49A and in the other case by transverse ribs 49B.
- the material of the Element or finger should be compared to the metal of the sanded Wire can be chosen relatively hard, e.g. Steel bristles.
- the card could e.g. only have attachment points where a bracket of Grinding device can be attached.
- the device itself could then by Card carried to card and only mounted on a specific card if necessary and put into operation. Such a device could drive your own to rotate the carrier that carries the abrasive elements, or could but only have a coupling to a temporary connection to the drive the machine.
- the preferred solution includes a grinding device with its own “infrastructure” (Carrier, drive, etc.) and with grinding elements according to FIG. 9, the carrier 59 preferably "fully equipped” (instead of just with individual helical rows of Grinding elements), i.e. practically over the entire circumference with grinding elements is busy.
- the carrier 59 preferably "fully equipped” (instead of just with individual helical rows of Grinding elements), i.e. practically over the entire circumference with grinding elements is busy.
