Claims (2)
- Verfahren zur Abwehr eines ein Schiff (10) angreifenden Torpedos (16) von dem angegriffenen Schiff (10) aus, bei dem der Torpedo (16) unter Verwendung einer schiffsgestützten Sonareinrichtung, die ein rundum mit einer achterlichen Lücke ortendes, bordgestütztes Aktivsonar (11) und ein im Abstand vom Schiff (10) nachgeschlepptes Schleppsonar (12) aufweist, geortet und mittels mindestens eines vom Schiff (10) absetzbaren Abwehreffektors bekämpft wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass mit dem Schleppsonar (12) ein im achterlichen Bereich des Schiffs (10) angreifender Torpedo (16) passiv gepeilt und die Frequenz (fT) mindestens einer von dem Torpedo (16) abgestrahlten, signifikanten Spektrallinie über der Zeit vermessen wird, daß aus der Pfeilwinkeländerungsgeschwindigkeit (dϕT/dt), der Frequenz (fT) der vermessenen Spektrallinie und deren Änderungsgeschwindigkeit (dfT/dt) in bekannter Weise die Entfernung (aT) zum Torpedo (16) fortlaufend berechnet und bei Erscheinen einer Torpedoentfernung aT, die vom Einsatzbereich des Abwehreffektors abgedeckt wird, die Absetzung des Abwehreffektors ausgelöst wird.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Ortungsreichweite des Schleppsonars (12) so gewählt ist, daß sie etwas größer ist als der mit dem Sinus des halben Winkels (α) der achterlichen Lücke des Aktivsonars (11) multiplizierte Schleppabstand (s) des Schleppsonars (12) vom Schiff (10).
