Claims (4)
- Procédé de prévention contre la manipulation d'un odomètre ou d'un tachygraphe de véhicule automobile comprenant les étapes suivantes :- lors de l'arrêt du moteur du véhicule automobile, détection de l'état actuel de l'odomètre et mise en mémoire de cet état de l'odomètre dans un appareil de commande placé à l'intérieur du véhicule, notamment un appareil de commande du moteur ;- lors du redémarrage du moteur, détection de l'état actuel de l'odomètre ;- comparaison de l'état de l'odomètre détecté lors du redémarrage du moteur avec l'état de l'odomètre mis en mémoire ;- prise de mesures adaptées pour le cas dans lequel l'état de l'odomètre détecté lors du redémarrage du moteur et l'état de l'odomètre mis en mémoire ne coïncident pas ;- coupure de la fonction du moteur du véhicule automobile en cas de non-correspondance des états de l'odomètre.
- Procédé selon la revendication 1, caractérisé en ce qu'un signal d'alarme est émis en cas de non-correspondance des états de l'odomètre.
- Dispositif de prévention contre la manipulation d'un odomètre ou d'un tachygraphe de véhicule automobile, notamment pour la mise en oeuvre du procédé selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 2, caractérisé par la présence de :- moyens de détection de l'état actuel de l'odomètre lors de l'arrêt du moteur du véhicule automobile et de mise en mémoire de cet état de l'odomètre dans une unité de mémoire de l'appareil de commande, notamment d'un appareil de commande du moteur ;- moyens de détection de l'état actuel de l'odomètre lors du redémarrage du moteur ;- moyens de comparaison de l'état de l'odomètre lors du redémarrage du moteur avec l'état de l'odomètre mis en mémoire ;- moyens de coupure de la fonction du moteur du véhicule automobile en cas de non-correspondance entre l'état de l'odomètre détecté lors du redémarrage du moteur et l'état de l'odomètre mis en mémoire ;
- Dispositif selon la revendication 3, caractérisé en ce que les moyens de détection de l'état actuel de l'odomètre et/ou les moyens de comparaison de l'état de l'odomètre lors du redémarrage du moteur avec l'état mémorisé de l'odomètre sont réalisés sous la forme d'un instrument de tableau de bord 1 et/ou de moyens de coupure de la fonction du moteur prenant la forme d'un appareil de commande de la transmission ou du moteur.
