Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft Briefumschläge, wie sie allgemein bekannt sind.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es, einen aufreißbaren Briefumschlag so zu gestalten, daß er durch Aufreißen in einfacher Weise zu öffnen ist und gleichzeitig gewährleistet, daß der Umschlag nicht beschädigungsfrei öffenbar ist.
Diese Aufgabe wird durch einen Briefumschlag gelöst, der auf seiner Rückseite durch Verkleben einer Schlußklappe (12) mit einer Unterklappe (13) entlang einer Klebstoffbahn (16) verschließbar ist. Dabei weist die Schlußklappe eine Aufreißlasche (15) auf. Diese Aufreißlasche befindet sich in einem Bereich, in dem die Klebverbindung zwischen Schlußklappe (12) und Unterklappe (13) unterbrochen ist. Entlang einer Schwächungslinie (17) ist der Briefumschlag auf seiner Rückseite aufreißbar. Die Aufreißlasche wird durch einen Einschnitt (18) in der Schlußklappe gebildet. Der Einschnitt (18) verläuft im wesentlichen quer zur Erstreckung der Klebebahn und ist in den Verlauf der Schwächungslinie (17) einbezogen.
