  • a disadvantage of the prior art is that the way of delivery of the Grinder to the sets must be determined. If the The delivery path is closed with every new grinding process check and adjust if necessary. This is a complex process which can also be faulty.
  • the present invention is a first invention.
  • grinder and sharpening device are in the description below equivalent.
  • the present invention is for grinding or sharpening clothing elements designed in the form of ticks, as usually found in the set of Revolving lids of a revolving flat card are to be found.
  • a generic sharpening or grinding device face grinding elements are provided in addition to the side grinding elements. This are designed for machining the end faces of the clothing elements.

  • a second aspect of the invention is a revolving card with a sharpening and grinding device with the characteristics of Claim 32 provided.
  • This solution includes in combination with a sharpening device in addition to the preferred one Solution with a carrier also the possibility of the flank and Form face grinding elements as two different brushes.
  • the flank and the Face grinding elements can extend over the length of the set, for example is arranged on a flat bar, be evenly distributed. Zones with Flank grinding elements and other zones can be occupied with face grinding elements. The Flank and face grinding elements can also be in substantially at the same time the same zones. The best arrangement results from the Shape of the clothing elements and the shape of the carrier, as well as the simplest Possibility of equipping the carrier with the appropriate grinding elements.
  • a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention is that the carrier is a rotatable roller. This ensures a high cutting speed Grinding the clothing elements at a corresponding speed of the roller allows.

  • flank and / or the face grinding elements form a brush on the set lies without the abrasive elements mentioned substantially between the clothing tips penetrate, it is possible to grind only the clothing tips accordingly and the Do not weaken the base of the clothing elements.
  • the face grinding elements are in particular Grindstones. This results in a very precise grinding of the clothing elements allows for their height. Likewise, very precise designs of the To achieve clothing tips by grinding stones. Depending on the application, these can have special advantages when processing fibers.
  • the face grinding elements can have a coarser grain than that Flank grinding elements. This creates a different grinding effect on the Set elements as well as a different service life of the elements guaranteed.
  • Their grain size is to cause the service life of both types of grinding element despite different load is approximately the same, so that the delivery of the set for the grinding device, the flank grinding elements and the Forehead grinding elements.
  • the device further includes a means for removing by grinding released abrasion, so contamination of the device is reliable too avoid. Removing the abrasion also ensures trouble-free operation guaranteed and also the contamination of the fiber material reliably prevented.
  • the means for removing the abrasion is advantageously one pneumatic suction, which extends over the working width of the set and is arranged opposite a grinding point in such a way that it flows through an air can create the grinding point or past the grinding point. It becomes one complete suction of the grinding point and the clothing or the clothing carrier causes so that even if the clothing intervenes in the fiber material in no longer grinds and adheres to contaminants or Flaws in the fiber material can result.
  • the device according to the invention is advantageously arranged on means to the Attach the device to the card frame and there the corresponding To grind or sharpen the cover sets. This ensures that Device has a predetermined distance from the lid set, so that a precise grinding is made possible.
  • the device according to the invention has a controller which controls the device intermittently, the grinding process is at predetermined times use.

  • the maintenance device is in transient operation only arranged for grinding on a machine and after the grinding process removed again. It is thereby at the times when on a single machine not ground, can be used on other machines.
  • a sharpening or grinding device of the type described above Device for delivering one arranged on a clothing carrier Set with set elements provided for the sharpening or grinding device. It is designed such that a means is provided which brings a force between the clothing and grinding device so that the clothing and the grinding device are pressed together and one predetermined immersion depth of the clothing elements in the grinding device. It can thereby evenly press the clothing onto the grinding device be guaranteed. This creates a state of equilibrium between the Set and the grinding device, which depending on the selected force predetermined immersion depth of the clothing elements causes. So there is a Press the clothing onto the grinding elements, which enables the grinding to be carried out in a targeted manner Clothing elements is made possible. With the present facility becomes a particularly precise and dimensionally accurate grinding of the clothing elements allows.
  • the sharpening described above or grinding device is both with and without Delivery device can be used. By combining the two facilities however achieved a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention.
  • the force to be applied to the clothing depends on the Resistance of the grinding elements of the grinding device depends.
  • the force with which the set is pressed in the direction of the grinding device is adjustable. As a result, the depth of penetration of the clothing into the grinding elements can be changed and the Removal during grinding adjustable.
  • the force is advantageously such in the case of different grinding elements set that the clothing elements with the shorter grinding elements just barely to contact. This ensures that essentially all grinding elements in the Intervention with the clothing elements are and therefore an optimal success when grinding can be achieved.
  • the force on support surfaces for the clothing carrier which is arranged on the support surfaces during the grinding process is acting on the clothing carrier and the clothing device. This will make surfaces created, which interact with counter surfaces on the clothing carrier and thus an exact positioning of the clothing carrier or clothing elements to the Ensure grinding device.
  • the force can be defined on the clothing carrier recoverable.
  • the force can be applied to the set via springs or fluid cylinders. It can be coil springs, leaf springs or rubber springs. As Fluid cylinders can be used in particular pneumatic or hydraulic cylinders.
  • the power can be generated by the weight of the device, if necessary in combination with a counterweight.
  • the support surfaces are advantageously in the direction of the grinding device moveable. As a result, the support surfaces together with the set brought into contact with the grinding device if necessary.
  • By moving Training is a dodging of the set in relation to the grinding device at too great force possible, so that the clothing and the grinding device always in Are balance of forces.
  • In contrast to the prior art, in which only a path delivery takes place here is a leveling and even action of the Grinding device on the clothing elements of the case.
  • the Support surfaces can be brought out of engagement with the clothing carrier. So that will especially with a revolving cover assembly, the revolving cover on the Grinding device passed without it from the support surfaces in the direction of the Grinding device is pressed. By bringing it out and engaging it Support surfaces with the clothing carrier is therefore also the intermittent delivery of the Fitting for the grinding device can be implemented particularly advantageously.
