Definitions

  • the invention relates to a medicament container for holding single or single and / or multiple rows of medicament doses arranged on carrier elements.
  • drug doses can be in solid, powdery, pastose or liquid form and tablets, coated tablets ,. Capsules, ampoules, pastes and the like.
  • the drug doses are mounted in the drug container in such a way that they can be removed individually or in groups, if appropriate together with their carrier element, through a removal area of the drug container.
  • a further state of the art is known from DE 35 18 531, a device for storing and promptly taking medication, which consists of a medicament container in the form of a dragee container, on which a signal transmitter which can be activated according to settable time intervals is arranged.
  • a reading device for reading out information relating to the medicament in the medicament container, coded on an enclosed part or to the medicament container itself.
  • receptacles for medicinal products into which medicinal products can be filled and which have a removal opening which is provided with a closure. Whenever the removal opening for removing a doctor is opened, a timer is reset. If the time of taking, ie the time at which the medicament container is opened, is exceeded, the medicament container emits a warning signal.
  • the invention is based on the object of designing a medicament container with the features of the preamble of patent claim 1 in such a way that it offers improved information and monitoring functionality for the patient and the removal of the medicament contained in it is particularly simple.
  • the essence of the invention is considered to be based on the drugs, i.e.
  • a coding to the drug doses and / or the carrier elements and to provide a code reading device on the drug container, by means of which, when the drug doses or carrier elements are removed from the drug container, a temporarily relative movement between the code reading device and the coding can be read, displayable and / or with the drug-specific information stored
  • the time of extraction can be used as a pair of values, in particular can be saved for compliance assessment and / or can be transferred to other data processing facilities.
  • the invention now makes it possible to read information relating to each individual drug dose in a targeted manner into a memory via the code reading device and to use it via a processor which can be provided either externally or internally in the drug container.
  • a processor which can be provided either externally or internally in the drug container. This can be done as follows, for example.
  • the user pulls on a carrier strip, for example in order to remove the first coated tablet from the medicament container.
  • the dragee itself is read via the code reading device and the coded information is displayed and used.
  • the invention has made it possible to read out coded information for each individual medicament dose and to make it available to the user to deliver.
  • an ad can be started with the text "take the next dose in three hours together with a preparation B" or, for example, an ad is started "you have taken preparation A, the next drug dose is preparation B" which is to be taken immediately ".

  • a patient code in the memory of the device, which is compared with a drug patient code that can be read in via the drug dose or the carrier. If the code read by the medicament or the carrier does not match the code stored in the device, this means that medication unsuitable and not intended for the patient has been inserted in the medicament container and this has an acoustic and / or visual warning, e.g. on the alphanumeric display.

  • a keyboard that the patient can use before using the medication container, i.e. e.g. must enter a PIN number when switching on or before each removal. If this does not match a PIN number read in by the medicinal product, the locking device becomes active which blocks the removal area or otherwise withdraws the medicinal product doses from access by the unauthorized user.
  • a fingerprint sensor as the patient identification device, which recognizes the authorization of the patient via a fingerprint that has been read in and generates a device release code that must match a patient code that is stored on the drug dose or on the carrier and must be read out to start the electronics of the medication container, to activate a release device or to deactivate the blocking device.

  • the drug doses do not necessarily have to be arranged on conventional carriers, such as blisters. It is just as possible to provide a transport storage device in the manner of a magazine, through which the drug doses can be supplied to the removal area in an orderly manner. Medicines of different types can then again be arranged in a carrier element, in a container or in a magazine.

However, it is also possible to use a flat, flexible base element as the carrier element, on one surface of which one or more drug doses are fixed. A cover layer is provided for fixation, which has a reduced flexibility compared to the base element, in particular a lower ductility. If the elastic, flexible base element is now pulled over an edge, the top layer will jump off the base element due to its higher brittleness or tear so that the drug dose is released.

  • the coding is also possible to design the coding as a barcode, which is also printed on the carrier when the drug doses are packaged. Further coding options can be a hole code or an edge code that can be scanned optically or mechanically. Abstract
