Definitions
- the present invention relates to a skate pad consisting of a plurality of an array of substantially lined, substantially rectangular plastic plates.
- Skating is traditionally held on an ice surface.
- This ice surface must be permanently cooled, which is especially in spring with increasing outside temperature and in ice rinks associated with high energy consumption.
- Document DE-2 147 032 discloses a skate pad having a wavy outline.
- the object of the invention is therefore to provide a skate pad whose function is independent of the ambient temperature.
- the outline (2) of the plastic plates (1) is wave-shaped or zigzag-shaped and the formation of a wave or zigzag, temperature-dependent expansion or shrinkage gap between the plastic plates (1) allowed, characterized in that the plastic plates (1) individually on Subsurface are attached.
- the tangents to the outline with an imaginary straight edge of the plastic plates include an angle of at most 45 °.
- the surface of the plastic plates is between 0.25 and 1.0 m 2 .
- the relative movement between the individual plastic plates can be limited by the fact that the plastic plates are attached individually to the ground. It is preferably provided that the plastic plates are fixed to exactly one point, preferably in the center of the plastic plates. The attachment in the center again serves a symmetrical expansion or shrinkage.
- the tops of the plastic plates are flush, can further be provided that there is a tongue and groove connection between the plastic plates.
- the plastic plates 1 according to the invention are substantially square, wherein the outline 2 is formed wave-shaped. Specifically, it is a sinusoid whose double amplitude is shown as width B.
- the width B is about 25 mm.
- the radius of curvature R of the outline 2 is about 20 mm, the distance of the intersections P of the outline 2 with the imaginary straight edge K about 40 mm.
- the plastic plate 1 can be attached diagonally to two already installed plastic plates 1.
- the attachment can be made only in the plane of the plastic plates 1, since between the individual plastic plates 1, a tongue and groove connection is formed.
- the abutting edges of the plastic plates 1 are circumferentially provided with grooves 4, are used in the springs 5.
- the springs 5 extend substantially over the entire edge length.
- the plastic plates 1 are square, the side length is 750 mm. In order to reduce the absolute amount of elongation, smaller plates with a side length of 500 mm can be used, even if this entails a larger number of plates to be laid.
- the plastic plates 1 are individually bolted at the center 3 to the ground.
- the screw head is lowered significantly below the surface of the plastic plate 1.
- the plastic plates 1 according to the invention are made of extruded polyethylene, which has a thermal expansion of 1, 2 to 2 millimeters per meter at a temperature difference of 10 °. Depending on the temperature at which the plastic plates 1 are laid, a certain expansion gap between the plastic plates 1 must be left free. Assuming that the skate pad should be operational in a temperature range of -15 ° C to + 30 ° C, at a temperature of + 45 ° C, the expansion gaps will be completely closed, whereas at -15 ° C a width of about 5.0 mm. Due to the waveform of the outline 2, only short, approximately rectilinear gap sections result, so that the skater is not in danger of getting into these gaps with the skate.
- skate pad For a simple and optimal installation of skate pad, it is advantageous if used in the assembly depending on the temperature tuned spacers, so that the individual plastic plates 1 are laid with the correct distance from each other and the right expansion gap.
- the outline 2 may also be formed as a zigzag line.
- the waveform due to its curvature, the waveform more reliably prevents the skate from entering the expansion gap at low temperatures.

Description
Dabei zeigt:
- Fig. 1 eine einzelne Kunststoffplatte eines erfindungsgemäßen Schlittschuhlaufbelages,
- Fig. 2 vier aneinander grenzend verlegte Kunststoffplatten,
