Definitions

  • the invention relates to a rotary cylinder or a rotary roller for an epilation device at least two adjacent clamping elements and noise damping means, which are assigned to at least one of the clamping elements. From FR-A 2 703 885 such a rotary cylinder is known, the clamping elements of an elastic intermediate layer exhibit.
  • An epilation device is known from WO 98/05234, which is provided with a rotating cylinder which is a plurality of pairs of clamping elements arranged angularly offset from one another With the help of pressure pins, the clamping elements during the rotary movement of the rotating cylinder in the area of a plucking zone brought into clamping contact in pairs. Hair of a user located between the clamping elements is separated by the plucked further rotary motion of the rotary cylinder.
  • At least one of the clamping elements should be consist of a hard material, for example metal. This can result have that when the two clamping elements meet one another a metallic Noise arises. The use of softer and therefore quieter material is not possible without further ado because it does not guarantee that hair can be gripped safely is.
  • the object of the invention is to make the hair removal efficient and quiet To create a rotary cylinder of the above type for an epilation device, in particular developed less noise than conventional rotary cylinders, but still a safe one Allows you to grasp and pluck hair.
  • an intermediate layer is between one of the two disks and the adjacent clamping element or the adjacent clamping elements provided itself.
  • the resulting noise reduction is based on the effect of joint damping, in which those arising in a vibrating system Micro-movements in joints, i.e. in the area of component walkways, via friction in Heat (Coulomb friction) is converted and thus strongly dampened.
  • the intermediate layer is part of the clamping element is formed on the side facing the disc.
  • the clamping element is roughened and the roughened Layer forms the intermediate layer.
  • the intermediate layer is designed as a washer. This makes it possible to optimize the intermediate layer for noise reduction to adapt to the clamping elements.
  • the washer can Material and size are specifically selected and designed.
  • At least one of the two is arranged facing one another Clamping elements movable, the intermediate layer in particular the movable Clamping element is assigned.
  • the intermediate layer is elastic. So that will achieved that the free mobility in particular by introducing the intermediate layer of the movable clamping element is not hindered.
  • Intermediate layers include paper and / or sandpaper and / or Plastic and / or foam rubber and / or the like has been found to be expedient.
  • independent embodiment of the invention which also is applicable regardless of the use of the intermediate layer, has at least one of the two clamping elements two outer layers and at least one arranged in between Liner on.
  • the clamping element thus has a kind of sandwich structure, whereby the individual layers are firmly connected. If the clamping element becomes vibrations excited, the vibrational energy in the intermediate layer (via shear stresses) converted into heat and with it the vibrations or the noise reduced. The clamping element thus generates less structure-borne noise and airborne noise Noise is reduced.
  • the intermediate layer with a polymer, in particular with is provided with an adhesive. It is also particularly advantageous if the outer layers have a metal, in particular steel.
  • the rotary cylinder has a plurality of disks 1, which are approximately coaxial and adjacent are arranged to each other.
  • a groove 2 approximately across the surface and approximately through the center the respective disc 1 runs.
  • the grooves 2 of adjacent disks facing each other 1 are arranged to each other so that they have an elongated clamping element receiving space 3 with an approximately rectangular cross section.
  • clamping element receiving space 3 two clamping elements are housed, which are extend over the entire length of the clamping element receiving space 3, and approximately have the width of the same.
  • the clamping elements are made of metal and are leaf spring-like educated.
  • the clamping elements are inserted into the grooves 2 and are with respect to them Main expansion plane arranged approximately parallel to each other.
  • the two clamping elements face each other and form a pair of clamping elements. Some of them are two adjacent clamping elements to each other.
  • FIGs 1a and 1b is one of the disks 1 with one of the grooves 2 and thus formed clamping element receiving space 3 shown.
  • the clamping elements are in the Figures 1a and 1b not shown.
  • FIG. 2 shows a washer 4 which is made of normal paper and / or Sand or sandpaper with a particularly fine grain and / or made of a plastic film and / or can consist of a foam rubber-like material.
  • the washer 4 is flat and has the shape of the grooves 2 and the clamping element receiving space Third
  • Figure 4 is also the disc 1 with the groove 2 and the clamping element receiving space formed therewith 3 shown.
  • the washer 4 inserted.
  • 4 also shows a movable clamping element 5 and a fixed clamping element 6 is shown.
  • the next to the disc 1 in FIG. 4 is disc 1 'arranged adjacent.
  • the two clamping elements 5, 6 are arranged facing each other, each have approximately the dimensions of the clamping element receiving space 3 and are flat, in particular designed like a leaf spring.
  • the clamping elements 5, 6 are made of steel, for example.
  • the disc 1 has a central opening 7 through which an axis for the rotary cylinder can be pushed through. In the direction of the clamping element receiving space 3 is on both On each side of the opening 7 there is a projection 8, each with a step 9 is provided.
  • the movable clamping element 5 is provided with a recess 10, with which it is Projections 8 can be pushed away.
  • the movable clamping element 5 is by the projections 8 laterally, so that it is independent of the projections 8 for the Clamping process can perform necessary tilting movement unhindered.
  • the disc 1 has a counter bearing 11, which consists of two adjoining surfaces 12, 13 of the clamping element receiving space 3 is formed, the obtuse angle 14th form each other.
  • the movable clamping element 5 is either on one or the other of the two adjoining surfaces 12, 13 and is thus around the obtuse angle 14 pivotable.
  • the disc 1 is provided with two openings 15 through which push pins 16 extend. With the help of the pressure pins 16 and the tilt bearing or bearing 18, the movable clamping element 5 can be pivoted back and forth between the two positions mentioned.
  • the fixed clamping element 6 is placed on the steps 9 of the projections 8 of the disc 1 and has an opening 17 for the axis of rotation of the rotary cylinder. With the help of levels 9 is the Disk 1 'is attached to disk 1. The fixed clamping element 6 lies on the entire surface Disc 1 'on.
  • the disc 1 has a bearing 18 which faces the counter bearing 11 with the bearing 18 the axis of rotation for the pivoting movement of the free clamping element 5 is fixed. at the free end of a pivoting movement of the movable clamping element 5 in the region of the free end of the fixed clamping element 6. Through the pressure pins 16 the movable clamping element 5 pressed against the fixed clamping element 6, so that a hair in between is firmly pinched.
  • the washer 4 is between the movable clamping element 5 and the washer 1 arranged.
  • the movable clamping element 5 is therefore not directly on the surfaces 12, 13 and thus on the counter bearing 11, but only indirectly via the washer 4.
  • the washer 4 represents an intermediate layer, the movable clamping element 5 is assigned. In itself, for manufacturing reasons, it is between the movable one Clamping element 5 and the counter bearing 11 a game of a few tenths of a millimeter available. This game is advantageous for the free mobility of the movable clamping element 5. This game is reduced by inserting the washer 4. By a corresponding choice of material for the washer 4, in particular through an elastic one Training the washer 4, and by an appropriate choice of the thickness of the Washer 4, however, continues to be the free movement of the movable clamping element 5 can be maintained.
  • the number of joints between the relevant components is determined by the washer 4 doubled. That is, there are joints between the movable clamping element 5 and the Washer 4 and between the washer 4 and the counter bearing 11. Das movable clamping element 5 carries out vibrations in which micro movements occur. These micro movements are caused by friction into heat in the joints (Coulomb friction). This dampens the micro movements. This also represents noise reduction. By doubling the joints with the washer 4, the described effect of joint damping is therefore increased.
  • Another option is to have a washer between the fixed Clamping element 6 and the disc 1 'and / or between the two clamping elements 5, 6 to be arranged in the area of the bearing 18 or the counter bearing 11.
  • the movable clamping element 5 is shown in FIG. 5a.
  • the recess 10 has an opening through which the axis of the rotary cylinder can be inserted.
  • the movable clamping element 5 can via the Projections 8 of the disc 1 are pushed away.
  • 5 are also from FIG Tabs 20 can be seen with which the movable clamping element 5 on the bearing 18 Disc 1 'rests.
  • the movable clamping element 5 consists of three layers 21, 22, 23 assembled, which are firmly connected.
  • the two outer ones Layers 21, 23 consist of a metal, in particular steel.
  • the two outer ones Layers can, but do not have to be of different thicknesses.
  • the in between located intermediate layer 22 consists of a polymer, in particular an adhesive.
  • the movable clamping element 5 shown in FIGS. 5a, 5b and 5c adjusts compulsory layered vibration damping system that the movable clamping element 5 is assigned. So the system is in one of those components that form the active power flow path in the rotary cylinder.
  • the movable clamping element 5 performs vibrations that lead to shear stresses in de Guide intermediate layer 22.
  • the existing vibration energy is thus in the intermediate layer 22 converted into heat (by internal friction) by shear stresses. This causes damping the vibration and thus reducing the developed Structure-borne and / or airborne noise.
  • Less of the movable clamping element 5 Airborne noise emitted and less structure-borne noise introduced into neighboring housing parts.
  • the clamping element 5 becomes less high-frequency and therefore less human Hearing unpleasant airborne noise emitted.
  • FIG. 5a, 5b and 5c 5 Another advantage of the movable clamping element shown in Figures 5a, 5b and 5c 5 is that the bouncing of the clamping element 5 is reduced. In order to the closing behavior of the clamping elements 5, 6 is improved and safe detection and Plucking of hair ensures.
