- Each element 2 has a square format, about 44 x 44 cm, and the pitch of the transverse partitions is around 5 cm.
- the height of a tile 2 can be adjusted by performing the rupture thereof at the grooves 9 using a simple hammer.
- a portion of a tile designated by the reference 10 is shown in the upper part of FIG. 1.
- the tile according to the invention can also be presented under shape of an accessory tile 12 which has exactly the same structure as tile 2, but which also has two lines of vertical break 13a and 13b, i.e. oriented perpendicularly to the alveoli.
- the breaking line 13a is located at a distance of 5 cm from the end of the square on which side it is located, while the line of rupture 13b is located at a distance of 10 cm from the end of the tile on whose side it is.
- These break lines reduce the length of the tile, if necessary, or again, and as shown in the Figure 4, to make a recess 14, delimited by a breaking line 13b and by two rupture lines parallel to the cells.
- This recess 14 allows, in this case, to provide a passage for piping 15.
- the partition which is represented in FIG. 4 comprises therefore, at its lower row, an accessory tile 12, then three whole tiles 2 mounted with horizontal cells, and finally a tile 2 mounted with its vertically oriented cells, the dimension of this tile having been reduced by breaking along grooves 9 parallel to the alveoli. It suffices, at the end of the wall, to use a capping agent 16 on a small thickness, less than 3 cm.
- the second vertical row is made with similar tiles, using an assembly crossed in relation to the tiles in the first row. However, it is not not useful, in this second row, to implement two accessory tiles.
- the third row has three tiles 2 as well as two accessory tiles 12, all the tiles being mounted with horizontal cells. The upper part is closed using the same agent closure 16.
- the keys positioning and assembly 8 are mounted in particular in the tile crossover areas.
- the invention provides a great improvement to the existing technique, by providing a terracotta of simple structure, very practical of implementation, even by a non-professional, whose size is adaptable, without requiring the use of specific tools, the cutting of which is carried out without dust.

Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a terracotta tile for the production of partitions, and in particular small partitions. The tile in question makes it possible to produce distribution partitions and lining, or cladding walls and more generally works DIY. It is a tile whose implementation is easy even for a non-professional user. The tile in question is intended for making small partitions, for example in kitchens or in bathrooms. This is a tile which is particularly well suited to implementation by a non-professional user.
Currently, small partitions are made essentially with plaster tiles, mounted with plaster, or with aerated concrete tiles. Cutting tools are required to adapt the different tiles to the desired size. The cutting these tiles creates dust, which constitutes a disadvantage when the partition must be mounted in an inhabited room. In in addition, some of these products, in particular plaster-based products, do not are not suitable for use in damp rooms.
It is also, for example from document FR-A-2 344 690, known to use terracotta tiles comprising two parallel facing walls connected by partitions transverse delimiting between them longitudinal cells, the two longitudinal sides of this pane, parallel to the cells and perpendicular to the facing walls each having at least one longitudinal groove intended for housing assembly keys with neighboring tiles. If this type of product is suitable for a use in damp rooms, cutting remains difficult, requiring suitable tools, and generates dust.
The object of the invention is to provide a terracotta tile, last type mentioned, which can be implemented in a simple manner, without require special tools other than a hammer or hatchet plasterer, and which can be cut without dust. For this purpose, the tile that it relates to is characterized in that, on the one hand, it comprises incipient fractures along at least some of the transverse bulkheads and, on the other hand, these transverse partitions comprise, opening into one of their faces, at least one longitudinal groove identical to a type groove opening into the longitudinal faces of the tile.
It is thus possible to carry out an adaptation of the dimension of the tile by making its rupture at the level of interior partitions, everything by benefiting from the interior partition along which the tile was broken, with a longitudinal groove allowing an assembly with a neighboring tile. Given the presence of the primers of rupture, the dimensioning of the tile is carried out with the only setting work of a plasterer's hammer or hatchet.
Advantageously, each intermediate partition is associated with fracture initiators and has at least one longitudinal groove.
This characteristic allows excellent adaptability of the dimension of a tile, insofar as it can be broken at level of each intermediate partition.
Advantageously, the primers of rupture associated with intermediate partitions are arranged substantially at the level of the face of each partition, into which a longitudinal groove opens. The possible rupture of a tile is carried out exactly in the plane of the intermediate partition into which a groove opens, so that the assembly between two neighboring tiles is present, even if one of them has been cut, perfect continuity.
Besides, the outer facing faces are smooth, which allows the partition to be finished either by simply applying a film coating, either by sticking directly from the tiling, or by leaving the visible faces.
According to another characteristic of the invention, the primers of rupture consist of grooves in the faces interior of the facing walls at the level of transverse partitions connecting these.
Advantageously, this tile comprises at least one line of rupture oriented transversely to the alveoli. It is thus possible to adapt the dimension of a tile in the direction of its length and in the sense of its height also.
According to an embodiment of this tile, it comprises two rupture lines oriented transversely to the cells, located at different distances from the two transverse faces of the side tile from which they are found respectively. It is thus possible to carry out the breakage of the tile along one of the two oriented lines transversely to the alveoli, so that the tile has the surface the as close as possible to the desired surface.
According to another characteristic of the invention, this tile has a square format.
This feature allows the tile to be used with either horizontal cells, either with vertical cells. For example, a wall panel can be mounted for most of its length with horizontal cells, the last pane being arranged with cells vertical, to allow the length of the latter tile to be adapted to the length of the wall. The same tile can be cut along a line of rupture parallel to the alveoli, and along a transverse rupture line to the cells, for example to obtain a cutout intended for passage of piping.
According to an embodiment of this tile, the step of transverse partitions is around 5 cm, and the breaking lines oriented transversely to the cells are located respectively at about 10 cm and 5 cm from the two transverse sides of the tile, for a tile having one of the dimensions of the order of 44 x 44 cm. It is so possible, with such a format, to limit the values of the areas to be filled in 3 cm.
10 est représentée à la partie supérieure de la figure 1.The tile according to the invention, designated by the
de bouchage 16.The tile according to the invention can also be presented under
shape of an
As shown in Figure 4, the keys positioning and assembly 8 are mounted in particular in the tile crossover areas.
As is apparent from the above, the invention provides a great improvement to the existing technique, by providing a terracotta of simple structure, very practical of implementation, even by a non-professional, whose size is adaptable, without requiring the use of specific tools, the cutting of which is carried out without dust. In addition, it is a tile that resists well in humid environments, and which requires for its finish to receive only one coating film, or directly glued tiles, for example.
It goes without saying that the invention is not limited to the single form of execution of this tile, described above by way of example, it on the contrary embraces all variants as contained in the claims. This is how the dimensions of this tile could be different.
