Definitions
- the invention relates to an antenna unit according to the preamble of the claim 1 and a body component according to the preamble of claim 9.
- Modern passenger vehicles have to be equipped with several antennas to be able to perform various reception or transmission tasks, for example for the operation of the car radio, the telephone, a navigation system, a GPS and an emergency call system or electronic toll collection, but also a central locking system, a remote-controlled heater and one Distance control or the like.
- the antennas required for this have different designs, for example Rod antennas for radio and telephone, possibly replaced by window antennas, Plate antennas for controlling the GPS, wire antennas and the like.
- the long-standing rod antennas which have a high efficiency, have been increasing in the past due to their vulnerability to damage and vandalism and their disruptive impact on air resistance and the high assembly effort due to the fact that it is integrated into the panes Antennas replaced.
- their efficiency is generally worse.
- an arrangement in the windscreen is annoying in that the antennas then restrict the field of view when transmitting antenna in electromagnetic waves give off the interior and also close to that with electronic instruments equipped dashboards, which means that malfunctions cannot be ruled out are.
- Rear window heating is particularly problematic for rear window antennas. With convertibles there is also the problem that the rear window just like the roof of the vehicle can not be used for antennas, so that here only the windshield for a window antenna comes into consideration.
- DE 196 36 584 C1 discloses the inclusion of one or more antennas known in a plastic bumper.
- the antennas are immediately on the inside of the bumper. Due to the adaptation of the antenna shape to the U-shaped outer shape of the bumper is the number and design of antennas limited. In addition, the location of the antennas in the bumper is in the event of an accident disadvantageous, since the repair costs are increased considerably.
- the object of the invention is to make the vehicle antennas optically inconspicuous and with the lowest possible assembly costs and at the same time high crash safety to be arranged in the vehicle.
- the invention solves this problem with an antenna unit with the features of claim 1 or by a body component with the features of Claim 9.
- the antenna unit according to the invention makes it possible to embed it in a flat area Body component, for example the engine flap or tailgate or side Doors possible, all antennas being included in this antenna unit can.
- the vehicle also does not require any other rod or window antennas.
- the antenna unit comprises a carrier part which is installed before the body is assembled Can be equipped with the antennas as well as electronic components and plugs is, so that the antenna unit as a whole as a modular component of the Assembly can be completed. This completely pre-assembled unit can be inserted into the body component during assembly. This can can also be equipped with an encircling earth strap or mass film. Overall, the assembly effort for the arrangement of antennas is therefore on significantly reduced the vehicle.
- the antenna is advantageously arranged in a body component that can be used for different purposes Vehicle types in a series (for example a coupé or a cabriolet) is similar. For this, e.g. the boot lid.
- the antenna unit can be connected to the continuing cables via a single central interface be connected to the motor vehicle.
- connection between the wall parts or between the antenna unit and the wall parts can be made via conventional connections such as screwing, gluing, welding or the like.
- the antenna unit is particularly advantageously modular in that it depending on the equipment of the vehicle with different numbers of antennas equipped and can also be retrofitted, for example with Subsequent installation of a remote control for an auxiliary heater.
- the antenna 1 comprises a carrier part 2, on which several Antennas 3,4,5 can be arranged.
- the antennas are 3 and 4 designed as rod antennas
- the antenna 5 provides one GPS receiver and transmitter, which is designed as a plate antenna.
- the electronic components 3a, 4a are arranged on the carrier part 2 Diversity and amplifier of a respective antenna 3.4.
- the antenna unit 1 can also contain a conductor 6 which is at ground potential Embodiment is electrically conductively connected to the carrier part 2 and the surrounds various antennas 3,4,5. Additional ground lines between the antennas can be routed and can shield them against each other also be provided.
- the conductor 6 can also be from the antenna unit 1 be trained independently and only connected to it during assembly become.
- the carrier part 2 can be a separate component and, for example, metallic be trained. It is also possible that the carrier part 2 is part of a Forms inner wall 7 of a multi-shell body part 8 and that on the Inner wall 7 pre-assembled antenna unit 1 with the body component 8 is assembled by welding, gluing, screwing or the like. It is one pre-assembled unit 1 created with the antennas, electronic and electrical connection components is provided and as a complete unit in the Assembly is used. This makes assembly considerably easier. Especially The entire antenna unit 1 with a single interface is advantageous equipped for electrical contacting, so that a single plug for Contacting all antennas 3,4,5 is sufficient.
- the carrier part 2 can continue with different slots for antennas 3,4,5 be equipped so that a modular construction is achieved and it is also possible to retrofit further antennas on the carrier part 2, for example to then enable further vehicle functions remotely to be able to.
- Such antennas 3, 4, 5 can have a wide variety of shapes, for example designed as rod antennas, plate antennas, wire antennas, etc. his.
- the body component 8 for example consists of a thermoplastic or an SMC plastic.
- a hood, a tailgate or vehicle doors can also be used directly Clip-in connections or similar connecting elements for antennas are so that the aforementioned body components 8 can serve as a base support 2. This is useful if the finished with without major installation effort body components 8 equipped with the antenna unit into the motor vehicle 9 can be used.
- the antenna unit 1 is optically inconspicuous in the body component 8, which is generally multi-walled, used and also with one minor accident protected from damage.
- the antennas 3,4,5 are for not visible to the user and also, for example when arranged in a Tailgate, protected from damage by luggage.
- a wall 7 of the body component designed as a tailgate 8 may be provided with depressions or other shape adaptations 12 in order to therein antenna elements, here the rods of the rod antenna 3. This can for example also be clipped to the wall 7, glued or otherwise be attached.
- Inner wall 7 is a further inner lining 13 of the inner wall 7 of the Body component 8 visible, which also in the case of perforations in the shape Inner wall 7 ensures an optically hidden position of the antenna unit 1 becomes. At the same time, access to the antenna unit 1 can be easily opened.
