Definitions

  • the invention relates to a method for producing securing elements for electronic article surveillance, the safety elements from at least two layers are made.
  • the invention further relates to a securing element produced by the method according to the invention.
  • EP 0 340 034 B1 is already a security element for the electronic Article surveillance in warehouses and department stores has become known Fibers made of a material with high permeability and low coercive force contains. These fibers are either contained in a paper substrate or they are are glued to the substrate. The orientation of the fibers in or on the Substrate is completely arbitrary, making the probability relatively high that the fibers overlap with other fibers and with them magnetically couple. This concentrates the magnetic flux of the fibers and reinforced, thereby eliminating the securing elements described in the patent are described, regardless of their orientation with respect to the Query field of the electronic article surveillance system can be detected can.
  • the invention has for its object a method for producing inexpensive and reliable security elements for the to propose electronic article surveillance.
  • the object is achieved in that a first layer of a cellulose mass is applied to a second layer of a cellulose mass while still moist, with one of the two layers being added soft magnetic elements which emit a characteristic signal in the query field of an article security system, and that from the two Layers in the dried state, the desired shape of the securing elements is punched out or cut out.
  • the advantage of the method according to the invention can be seen primarily in the fact that the layer with the soft magnetic fibers can be very thin, since it is supported by the second thicker layer.
  • the layer with the soft magnetic fibers can therefore be produced from a very dilute paper fiber suspension, which - as described in more detail below - brings enormous advantages with regard to the subsequent alignment and the processable length of the soft magnetic fibers in the still moist cellulose mass of the second layer. Since both layers are also brought together when still moist, they adhere firmly to one another after drying without any further steps, e.g. B. a sticking together of the two layers would be required.
  • the soft magnetic elements which are Fibers with a very small diameter act through when wet external force essentially in the longitudinal direction of the material web be aligned.
  • the alignment takes place according to a particularly favorable one Embodiment of the method in that above or below the Layer of cellulose mass, which contains the soft magnetic fibers, a Device is provided which a magnetic field in the longitudinal direction or in Running direction of the material web generated. Since the cellulose mass to this At the time it is still wet, the fibers are underneath the influence of the magnetic field aligned in the direction of travel of the material web.
  • the fibers can be aligned in the longitudinal direction of the material web also be enforced by the fact that the layer of cellulose mass with inserted soft magnetic fibers is accelerated; through this the fibers are also oriented in the longitudinal direction of the layer.
  • the security element for the electronic manufactured by the process Article security has the following characteristics: Acting in the first position it is a cellulose mass consisting of cellulose fibers.
  • the second Layer also consists of a cellulose mass made up of a mixture composed of cellulose fibers and soft magnetic elements. This Soft magnetic elements are - as already mentioned several times - in one magnetic query field of an electronic article surveillance system for Emission of a characteristic signal.
  • the magnetic elements are made of fibers a soft magnetic material. With a view to the highest possible Detection rate has proven to be advantageous if the length of the Soft magnetic fibers are larger than 2 cm on average.
  • Fig. 1 shows a schematic representation of a device with which the inventive method is carried out.
  • a feed device 8 Via a feed device 8 the cellulose mass 6 is applied to a support surface 10.
  • the Contact surface 10 In the Contact surface 10 is e.g. a fine-meshed endless network that is guided over pulleys 14, 15. Through the mesh of the network 10 can excess water can be removed from the cellulose mass 6.
  • this contact surface 9 can it is in turn a fine-meshed endless network that over Deflection rollers 11, 12, 16 is guided.
  • the direction of travel of the web of material the layers 2, 3 is indicated in the drawing by an arrow.
  • the cellulose mass 6 of the first layer 2 consists only of cellulose fibers there is, the cellulose mass 5 of the second layer 3 are soft magnetic Fibers 4 added.
  • the mixing ratio is a maximum of 50:50.
  • the second layer 3 which contains the soft magnetic fibers 4
  • the Cellulose mass 5 of the second layer only has a dilute concentration Cellulose fibers.
  • the still moist layer 3 under the device 14 passed through, the soft magnetic fibers 4 have enough freedom of movement, to orientate itself in the direction of an acting magnetic field. This forced alignment of the magnetic fibers 4 allows given the concentration of soft magnetic fibers the detection probability for the securing elements 1, which are made of the material web 2, 3 produced, increase significantly.
  • an alignment of the soft magnetic fibers 4 also by mechanical action on the still moist cellulose mass 5, which contains the soft magnetic fibers 4, be forced.
  • a force component in the direction of travel the material web 3 simply by the material web 3 is accelerated in the direction of travel.
  • the Fuse element 1 consists of a first layer 2, which is a Cellulose mass 6 is made up of cellulose fibers without further Blends.
  • the second layer 3 consists of a mixture a cellulose mass 5, the soft magnetic fibers 4 are added.
  • the length of the soft magnetic fibers 4 is such that the fibers 4 in an electronic article surveillance system with high probability be excited to emit a characteristic signal so that subsequently an alarm is triggered.
  • the soft magnetic fibers 4 are according to a development of the invention Securing elements 1 essentially in one direction oriented. This has the advantage that even with a small number of Fibers 4 per fuse element 1 the characteristic signal of Securing element easily detected by an article surveillance system can be.
  • the advantages of the securing elements 1 are again shown mentioned, which have been prepared by the inventive method. Since two-ply paper is used for the production of the securing elements 1 is, it is possible to adjust the concentration of cellulose fibers 3, which the contains soft magnetic fibers 4 to keep very low. Hence, too the concentration of the soft magnetic fibers 4 turn out low, whereby the manufacturing costs for a fuse element 1 according to the invention accordingly can be kept low.
  • Another advantage concerns that Tear strength of the two-layer material web 2, 3.
  • the layer 3 with the essentially in the longitudinal direction aligned soft magnetic fibers 4 has a anisotropic tensile strength. In particular, the tensile strength is in the direction the orientation of the fibers 4 very low. Because the cellulose fibers in the first However, layer 2 is completely arbitrarily oriented, has material web 2, 3 as such the preferred isotropic tear strength. Furthermore, very much long fibers are used and the fibers remain during the Manufacturing process stretched approximately.
