Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner according to the feature of the preamble of
From the latter document, a vacuum cleaner with front and rear support sections is known, but which are virtually the same shape over the entire width of the suction mouth.
Starting from the cited prior art, the invention has the object of developing a vacuum cleaner as indicated above so that advantageous flow conditions are given in the support area.
This object is achieved in the subject matter of
There is a small contact surface in the area of the bottom plate. At the same sliding force increased dust absorption is given. The support section is curved in cross-section corresponding to a wheel tread or according to a wing profile. With regard to the latter is important that the largest protrusion is only near the edge of the opening. The airfoil is thus designed so that during normal forward movement of the vacuum cleaner, the rear part of the profile is forward. By this curved in cross section training of the support section of the carpet, especially for medium or high pile coverings, only sealed to achieve a necessary negative pressure, but not compressed, creating a better flow around is possible. As a result of the lower losses achieved as a result, a higher volume flow and thus improved dust absorption is achieved, even with constant sliding forces or, depending on the type of lining, even lower sliding forces. Accordingly, the bottom plate is formed curved in the direction of displacement both in front of and behind the suction mouth in a cross section corresponding to a wheel tread or a wing profile. The base plate having the support sections can be designed both as a metal plate and as a plastic plate. It is essential that a hard material is selected. In addition, it is proposed that the support section on the suction mouth side merges into a bottom-parallel edge section. The latter is heightwise spaced from the support surfaces of the support sections, so that this edge section does not rest on the floor to be maintained in a sealing manner. Thus, this floor-parallel edge portion does not adversely affect the flow through the carpet or on the sliding forces. Corresponding a wheel tread or an airfoil profile, the support portions according to the invention in cross section by circular sections, in particular composite circular sections of different radii, formed, to which it is proposed that the radius of curvature corresponds to 0.25 to 2 times the Saugmundbreite in the direction of displacement. In this case, an embodiment is preferred in which the radius of curvature corresponds to 1/3 to 1/1 times the suction mouth width in the direction of displacement. For example, the ratio of the suction mouth width to the radius of curvature of the front support section in the displacement direction is approximately 2: 1 and the rear support section is approximately 1.5: 1. Furthermore, it is intended to achieve an improved dust absorption, that a vertical extent of the elevation of the support portion relative to the edge portion corresponds to 1/8 to 1/2 of the radius of the support portion. In this regard, it is further proposed that the curvature on the suction mouth edge opposite side of the support section on the Überhöhungsmaß is continued with respect to the Saugmundrandes. As a result, both in the forward displacement direction and in the backward-displacement direction in the region of the respective front support portion a soft, uniform casserole zone is formed, whereby the sliding forces are reduced, especially in medium- and high-pile carpets. Finally, it is provided that the support section extends at least over the length of the suction mouth measured transversely to the direction of displacement, whereby over this entire length of the suction mouth a uniform sealing of the carpet to achieve a necessary negative pressure is provided. The base plate according to the invention does not have a disadvantageous effect with regard to the thread / fiber receptacle, the coarse dirt receptacle and the edge / front extraction in comparison to conventional floor plates. In addition, this is also comparable in terms of acoustics and the appearance of the goods. In the dust collection from cracks / joints an increase has been found.
