Definitions
- the invention relates to a vacuum cleaner nozzle with a housing and a suction mouth which is arranged on an underside of the housing and extends in a transverse direction in relation to a transverse direction in the working direction.
- Vacuum cleaner nozzles are used to shape and concentrate a suction air flow generated by a vacuum cleaner in the vicinity of a surface to be cleaned, in particular a floor area.
- the design of the vacuum cleaner nozzle has a particularly large influence on the cleaning result that can be achieved when cleaning with a vacuum cleaner.
- vacuum cleaner nozzles are from DE 10 2014 111609 A1 and EP 0 353 546 A1 known.
- the geometric-technical design of the vacuum cleaner nozzle must take many different boundary conditions into account. So there are special vacuum cleaner nozzles, which are intended in particular for floor cleaning - so-called vacuum cleaner floor nozzles. Particularly with this type, a seal between the body of the vacuum cleaner nozzle and the surface to be cleaned is important in order to create sufficient negative pressures necessary for deep cleaning of a floor.
- bristle strips are known in particular in the field of vacuum cleaner floor nozzles. These are linear strips with relatively coarse bristles throughout, which on the one hand serve to gently support a vacuum cleaner nozzle housing on the surface to be cleaned and on the other hand also contribute in a certain way to sealing the suction mouth from the ambient pressure.
- the disadvantage here is that the sealing effect provided by the bristle strips is insufficient.
- Continuous bristle strips also significantly worsen the absorption properties of coarse dirt, since this is pushed in front of the bristle strip and therefore cannot get into the area of influence of the suction mouth. Openings or interruptions arranged in the bristle strip can counteract this problem, but in turn lead to a reduced sealing effect.
- elastic sealing strips made of a continuous plastic material are known - in particular so-called rubber lips. These have significantly better sealing properties, since they can cling to the contour of the floor surface and are made of the same material without any breakthroughs or openings.
- a textile sealing arrangement is provided according to the invention, which is arranged in the working direction behind the suction mouth.
- This comprises a large number of textile sealing strips, with a first sealing strip group comprising at least two of the textile sealing strips which are arranged on the left-hand side on the longitudinal center plane of the housing.
- a second sealing strip group comprises at least two of the textile sealing strips, which are arranged in time in the longitudinal center plane of the housing.
- the textile sealing strips of the first sealing strip group and the textile sealing strips of the second Sealing strip group each have a longitudinal extension, which is aligned obliquely relative to the working direction.
- the sealing arrangement has a plurality of textile sealing strips divided into at least two sealing strip groups. These are inclined in relation to the working direction and the transverse direction, so that they have a greater overall extent than in the case of a single sealing strip that is continuous in the transverse direction. As a result, both a greater sealing effect and a greater supporting force can be generated with the sealing strips.
- the subdivision into sealing strips spaced apart allows the formation of passages for coarse dirt particles.
- the slanted position can also be used to achieve a directed guiding or collecting effect through the interaction of the individual slanted sealing strips during a forward or backward stroke in or against the working direction.
- the longitudinal extent of the sealing strips encloses an angle of between 30° and 80° with the working direction.
- Each of the angles is preferably between 45° and 75°, in particular approximately 60°.
- the textile sealing strips each have a length of at least 2 cm, preferably 5 to 8 cm, measured along their longitudinal direction.
- the textile sealing elements preferably have a width of less than 10 mm, preferably between 3 and 6 mm. In this size range, a sealing effect that is at least equivalent to that of a rubber lip can already be achieved with particular soft clinging properties can be achieved.
- a ratio of the length to the width of at least 1:10, particularly preferably at least 1:15, is provided.
- each of the two sealing strip groups are particularly preferably arranged directly adjacent to one another, i.e. without further sealing strips or other sealing elements arranged in between.
- One or more additional sealing elements in particular a sealing strip running in the transverse direction, can be arranged between the first sealing strip group and the second sealing strip group.
- the textile sealing strips of the first sealing strip group and the textile sealing strips of the second sealing strip group are arranged symmetrically with respect to the longitudinal center plane.
- a uniform cleaning result can be achieved over the entire width of the vacuum cleaner nozzle and a congruent behavior with a forward stroke or with a backward stroke on both halves of the vacuum cleaner nozzle.
- Supporting elements expediently protrude from the underside of the housing and span a footprint.
- the textile sealing strips protrude at least as far as the uprising level.
- the support elements can be provided in particular by skids, rollers and/or bristle strips that are more dimensionally stable.
- the textile sealing strips can be made particularly soft.
- the invention is characterized in particular by the finding that with a textile Sealing strip a sealing effect can be generated, which is equivalent or even superior to a sealing lip.
- particularly soft textile sealing elements are characterized by particularly good clinging properties.
- fibers of a soft textile sealing strip - unlike sealing lips - can also penetrate into fine cracks and crevices in order to significantly improve the suction result on jointed hard floors.
- the textile sealing strips run towards the longitudinal center plane in the working direction.
- the slanted sealing strips have an additional collection function during a backward stroke, which concentrates coarse dirt in front of the longitudinal center plane - and thus towards the mouth of the suction line.
- the alignment of the textile sealing strips is less important, since coarse dirt particles are sucked off below the suction mouth and therefore cannot collect in front of the textile sealing strips.
- the extent of at least one textile sealing strip thus intersects with the transverse extent of at least one adjacently arranged textile sealing strip. This is possible in particular due to the inclined position according to the invention.
- the overlap improves the sealing effect and complete coverage of the work area on a forward or reverse stroke.
- the overlap in the transverse direction is preferably at least 5%, in particular 10% to 20% of the extent of one of the overlapping sealing strips in the transverse direction.
- the sealing arrangement in the transverse direction has a longitudinally parallel - i. H. aligned in the working direction - textile edge strips.
- the textile edge strip forms a support element which can exert at least additional load-bearing forces during a movement in the working direction.
- a particularly strong seal is guaranteed on the sides, so that the suction effect is concentrated on the area in front of and behind the suction mouth. This simplifies thorough pick-up of dirt particles - especially coarse dirt.
- the edge strips are preferably each arranged completely behind the suction mouth. They therefore serve in particular to channel the intake air stream flowing in from the rear.
- the textile sealing strips of the first sealing strip group and the textile sealing strips of the second sealing strip group are each aligned parallel to one another. This enables the development of a uniform supporting and sealing effect with comparable cleaning properties at all points.
- the textile sealing strips have a fibrous web made of textile fibers that protrudes from the underside of the housing.
- One or more textile fibers can be embedded at one end in the carrier.
- one or more fibers can protrude downwards with both ends and—roughly in the middle—be fastened to the carrier.
- the textile fibers are straight - i.e. straight. H. in particular not laid in loops and/or curled - trained.
- the textile fibers can be arranged particularly densely in order to achieve good fluidic sealing.
- the textile fibers preferably have a fineness of less than 5 dtex, in particular less than 4 dtex. Fibers with a fineness of between 0.5 dtex and 2 dtex are very particularly preferably used.
- the textile fibers are preferably formed from one or more plastics. Particular preference is given to forming part of the textile fibers or all of the textile fibers from a material selected from the group consisting of polyester, nylon, acrylic and cellulose.
- the textile fibers are arranged particularly densely in the fibrous web.
- the fibrous web has a fiber density of at least 200 textile fibers per square millimeter, particularly preferably at least 400 textile fibers per square millimeter, in particular a fiber density between 500 and 1000 textile fibers per square millimeter.
- the fibrous web of at least one textile sealing strip preferably has a covering that is homogeneous over the entire surface.
- the local fiber density is therefore the same in the entire surface area of the textile sealing strip - within the scope of measurement and production accuracy.
- the homogeneous sealing strips are tuft-free.
- the textile sealing strips each have a carrier strip in which the fibrous web is embedded.
- the carrier strip is arranged on the vacuum cleaner nozzle in such a way that it does not protrude from the underside of the housing.
- the carrier strip is thus arranged in a protected manner and cannot be damaged by ground contact.
- recesses or recesses are expediently formed on the underside of the vacuum cleaner nozzle housing, into which the carrier strip can be countersunk.
- the fibrous web is preferably embedded in the carrier strip by gluing, stitching--in particular into a woven, warp-knitted or crocheted carrier strip--and/or welding.
- the vertical height at which the individual textile fibers are mechanically immobile in relation to the carrier strip due to their embedding is also referred to as the clamping height of the fiber batt. Most preferably, the extends The clamping height also does not exceed the underside of the vacuum cleaner nozzle. This means that the textile fibers of the fibrous web are fully mobile below the vacuum cleaner nozzle.
- At least one textile sealing strip is detachably attached to the housing.
- a long service life of the textile sealing elements can be expected.
- damaged or otherwise unusable sealing elements can be detached from the vacuum cleaner nozzle, preferably without tools, and replaced with replacement parts. A consistently good cleaning result can thus be maintained over the entire service life of the vacuum cleaner nozzle.
- the textile sealing elements within the scope of the invention should be designed in such a way that they can be easily deformed, particularly in the case of point loading. As a result, they can be bent particularly easily against the direction of movement in order to avoid an obstacle.
- a particularly fine fiber design enables the individual fibers within the textile structure to “fold away” particularly flatly.
- the sealing elements are preferably designed in such a way that they can at least partially also take on vertical support loads.
- the textile sealing arrangement is designed in such a way that, when loaded with half the weight of the housing, it is not more than half the weight an uncompressed - force-free - state is compressed. Therefore, it can raise at least significant parts of the necessary load-bearing capacity.
- the vacuum cleaner nozzle according to the invention is shown, which has a housing 1 which extends in a working direction x, a transverse direction y and a vertical direction z.
- the housing 1 has an approximately rectangular shape, the width B measured in the transverse direction y corresponding to approximately 1.5 to 2 times the length L measured in the working direction x.
- a suction connection piece 2 is connected for connecting the vacuum cleaner nozzle to a suction air duct.
- the suction connection piece 2 has an angled pipe connection 2a, which can be pivoted relative to the housing 1 both about a pivot axis s 1 running in the transverse direction y and about a longitudinal axis s 2 .
- the angled pipe connection 2a is connected to the housing 1 via a corrugated hose 2b.
- the bottom view 2 it can be seen that on the underside 3 of the housing 1 there is a suction mouth 4 which extends in the transverse direction y over almost the entire width B of the housing 1 .

Description
The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner nozzle with a housing and a suction mouth which is arranged on an underside of the housing and extends in a transverse direction in relation to a transverse direction in the working direction.
Vacuum cleaner nozzles are used to shape and concentrate a suction air flow generated by a vacuum cleaner in the vicinity of a surface to be cleaned, in particular a floor area. The design of the vacuum cleaner nozzle has a particularly large influence on the cleaning result that can be achieved when cleaning with a vacuum cleaner.
The geometric-technical design of the vacuum cleaner nozzle must take many different boundary conditions into account.
In the past, the cleaning of grouted hard floors in particular - i.e. airtight floor surfaces with gaps and cracks arranged in them - has repeatedly proved difficult. In order to be able to loosen and remove dirt particles embedded within the joints, it is necessary to generate particularly large negative pressures. This is further complicated by the fact that due to applicable environmental regulations, the physical performance of vacuum cleaners has continued to decrease in recent years. It is therefore not possible to generate the required negative pressure solely by increasing the applied vacuum cleaner performance, but this must be achieved to a large extent by suitable sealing measures on the vacuum cleaner nozzle.
The use of so-called bristle strips is known in particular in the field of vacuum cleaner floor nozzles. These are linear strips with relatively coarse bristles throughout, which on the one hand serve to gently support a vacuum cleaner nozzle housing on the surface to be cleaned and on the other hand also contribute in a certain way to sealing the suction mouth from the ambient pressure. The disadvantage here, however, is that the sealing effect provided by the bristle strips is insufficient. Continuous bristle strips also significantly worsen the absorption properties of coarse dirt, since this is pushed in front of the bristle strip and therefore cannot get into the area of influence of the suction mouth. Openings or interruptions arranged in the bristle strip can counteract this problem, but in turn lead to a reduced sealing effect.
As an alternative solution, elastic sealing strips made of a continuous plastic material are known - in particular so-called rubber lips. These have significantly better sealing properties, since they can cling to the contour of the floor surface and are made of the same material without any breakthroughs or openings.
In order to ensure sufficient suppleness and at the same time ensure protection of the surface to be cleaned, however, elastic sealing strips must be made relatively soft. They can therefore only be used insufficiently to support the vacuum cleaner nozzle housing. At the same time, there is also the problem that coarse dirt particles are pushed in front of the sealing lip and therefore cannot be absorbed effectively.
In practice, therefore, combination solutions that are expensive in terms of material and construction have been required to date in order to achieve sufficient load-bearing capacities with good sealing and sufficient absorption of coarse dirt. Against this background, the invention is based on the object of specifying a cost-effective solution for achieving these goals. The subject matter of the invention and the solution to this problem is a vacuum cleaner nozzle according to
Based on the generic vacuum cleaner nozzle, a textile sealing arrangement is provided according to the invention, which is arranged in the working direction behind the suction mouth. This comprises a large number of textile sealing strips, with a first sealing strip group comprising at least two of the textile sealing strips which are arranged on the left-hand side on the longitudinal center plane of the housing. A second sealing strip group comprises at least two of the textile sealing strips, which are arranged in time in the longitudinal center plane of the housing. The textile sealing strips of the first sealing strip group and the textile sealing strips of the second Sealing strip group each have a longitudinal extension, which is aligned obliquely relative to the working direction.
According to the invention, the sealing arrangement has a plurality of textile sealing strips divided into at least two sealing strip groups. These are inclined in relation to the working direction and the transverse direction, so that they have a greater overall extent than in the case of a single sealing strip that is continuous in the transverse direction. As a result, both a greater sealing effect and a greater supporting force can be generated with the sealing strips. At the same time, the subdivision into sealing strips spaced apart allows the formation of passages for coarse dirt particles. The slanted position can also be used to achieve a directed guiding or collecting effect through the interaction of the individual slanted sealing strips during a forward or backward stroke in or against the working direction.
Bevorzugt beträgt jeder der Winkel zwischen 45° und 75°, insbesondere etwa 60°.Preferably, the longitudinal extent of the sealing strips encloses an angle of between 30° and 80° with the working direction. Each of the angles is preferably between 45° and 75°, in particular approximately 60°.
Preferably, the textile sealing strips each have a length of at least 2 cm, preferably 5 to 8 cm, measured along their longitudinal direction. Perpendicular to the direction of longitudinal extent, the textile sealing elements preferably have a width of less than 10 mm, preferably between 3 and 6 mm. In this size range, a sealing effect that is at least equivalent to that of a rubber lip can already be achieved with particular soft clinging properties can be achieved. In order to maintain this sealing lip characteristic, a ratio of the length to the width of at least 1:10, particularly preferably at least 1:15, is provided.
The sealing strips of each of the two sealing strip groups are particularly preferably arranged directly adjacent to one another, i.e. without further sealing strips or other sealing elements arranged in between. One or more additional sealing elements, in particular a sealing strip running in the transverse direction, can be arranged between the first sealing strip group and the second sealing strip group.
According to a preferred embodiment, the textile sealing strips of the first sealing strip group and the textile sealing strips of the second sealing strip group are arranged symmetrically with respect to the longitudinal center plane. In this embodiment variant, a uniform cleaning result can be achieved over the entire width of the vacuum cleaner nozzle and a congruent behavior with a forward stroke or with a backward stroke on both halves of the vacuum cleaner nozzle.
Supporting elements expediently protrude from the underside of the housing and span a footprint. The textile sealing strips protrude at least as far as the uprising level. The support elements can be provided in particular by skids, rollers and/or bristle strips that are more dimensionally stable. In this variant, the textile sealing strips can be made particularly soft. Here, the invention is characterized in particular by the finding that with a textile Sealing strip a sealing effect can be generated, which is equivalent or even superior to a sealing lip. At the same time, particularly soft textile sealing elements are characterized by particularly good clinging properties. In particular, fibers of a soft textile sealing strip - unlike sealing lips - can also penetrate into fine cracks and crevices in order to significantly improve the suction result on jointed hard floors.
According to a preferred variant, the textile sealing strips run towards the longitudinal center plane in the working direction. As a result, the slanted sealing strips have an additional collection function during a backward stroke, which concentrates coarse dirt in front of the longitudinal center plane - and thus towards the mouth of the suction line. With a forward stroke, the alignment of the textile sealing strips is less important, since coarse dirt particles are sucked off below the suction mouth and therefore cannot collect in front of the textile sealing strips.
Provision is particularly preferably made for two adjacently arranged textile sealing strips to overlap in the transverse direction. The extent of at least one textile sealing strip thus intersects with the transverse extent of at least one adjacently arranged textile sealing strip. This is possible in particular due to the inclined position according to the invention. The overlap improves the sealing effect and complete coverage of the work area on a forward or reverse stroke. The overlap in the transverse direction is preferably at least 5%, in particular 10% to 20% of the extent of one of the overlapping sealing strips in the transverse direction.
Preferably, the sealing arrangement in the transverse direction has a longitudinally parallel - i. H. aligned in the working direction - textile edge strips. On the one hand, despite the soft fiber structure, the textile edge strip forms a support element which can exert at least additional load-bearing forces during a movement in the working direction. At the same time, a particularly strong seal is guaranteed on the sides, so that the suction effect is concentrated on the area in front of and behind the suction mouth. This simplifies thorough pick-up of dirt particles - especially coarse dirt.
The edge strips are preferably each arranged completely behind the suction mouth. They therefore serve in particular to channel the intake air stream flowing in from the rear.
According to a particularly preferred embodiment, the textile sealing strips of the first sealing strip group and the textile sealing strips of the second sealing strip group are each aligned parallel to one another. This enables the development of a uniform supporting and sealing effect with comparable cleaning properties at all points.
In particular, the textile sealing strips have a fibrous web made of textile fibers that protrudes from the underside of the housing. This involves a large number of textile fibers--in the unloaded state--aligned essentially perpendicularly to the underside of the vacuum cleaner nozzle. These are - held in an associated carrier, which is attached to the housing of the vacuum cleaner nozzle - in particular with an (upper) end. At least one end of the fiber projects freely below the underside of the vacuum cleaner nozzle.
One or more textile fibers can be embedded at one end in the carrier. Alternatively or additionally, one or more fibers can protrude downwards with both ends and—roughly in the middle—be fastened to the carrier.
Most preferably, the textile fibers are straight - i.e. straight. H. in particular not laid in loops and/or curled - trained. In this configuration, the textile fibers can be arranged particularly densely in order to achieve good fluidic sealing.
In the context of the invention, especially fine fibers are provided. The textile fibers preferably have a fineness of less than 5 dtex, in particular less than 4 dtex. Fibers with a fineness of between 0.5 dtex and 2 dtex are very particularly preferably used.
The textile fibers are preferably formed from one or more plastics. Particular preference is given to forming part of the textile fibers or all of the textile fibers from a material selected from the group consisting of polyester, nylon, acrylic and cellulose.
In order to achieve a particularly good sealing effect, the textile fibers are arranged particularly densely in the fibrous web. Preferably, the fibrous web has a fiber density of at least 200 textile fibers per square millimeter, particularly preferably at least 400 textile fibers per square millimeter, in particular a fiber density between 500 and 1000 textile fibers per square millimeter.
In order to ensure a good sealing effect, the fibrous web of at least one textile sealing strip preferably has a covering that is homogeneous over the entire surface. The local fiber density is therefore the same in the entire surface area of the textile sealing strip - within the scope of measurement and production accuracy. In particular, the homogeneous sealing strips are tuft-free. As a result, a particularly good sealing effect comparable to a rubber lip can be achieved with a textile sealing element.
In a particularly preferred embodiment, the textile sealing strips each have a carrier strip in which the fibrous web is embedded. The carrier strip is arranged on the vacuum cleaner nozzle in such a way that it does not protrude from the underside of the housing. The carrier strip is thus arranged in a protected manner and cannot be damaged by ground contact. For this purpose, recesses or recesses are expediently formed on the underside of the vacuum cleaner nozzle housing, into which the carrier strip can be countersunk.
The fibrous web is preferably embedded in the carrier strip by gluing, stitching--in particular into a woven, warp-knitted or crocheted carrier strip--and/or welding. The vertical height at which the individual textile fibers are mechanically immobile in relation to the carrier strip due to their embedding is also referred to as the clamping height of the fiber batt. Most preferably, the extends The clamping height also does not exceed the underside of the vacuum cleaner nozzle. This means that the textile fibers of the fibrous web are fully mobile below the vacuum cleaner nozzle.
According to a particularly preferred embodiment, at least one textile sealing strip is detachably attached to the housing. With proper operation, a long service life of the textile sealing elements can be expected. However, it is possible that they lose their soft feel and sealing properties if they are misused due to dirt, sticking, mechanical damage and/or thermal welding. In this case, it is advantageous to enable a particularly simple possibility for replacement—in particular by an end user. For this purpose, damaged or otherwise unusable sealing elements can be detached from the vacuum cleaner nozzle, preferably without tools, and replaced with replacement parts. A consistently good cleaning result can thus be maintained over the entire service life of the vacuum cleaner nozzle.
The textile sealing elements within the scope of the invention should be designed in such a way that they can be easily deformed, particularly in the case of point loading. As a result, they can be bent particularly easily against the direction of movement in order to avoid an obstacle. A particularly fine fiber design enables the individual fibers within the textile structure to “fold away” particularly flatly. At the same time, the sealing elements are preferably designed in such a way that they can at least partially also take on vertical support loads. In particular, the textile sealing arrangement is designed in such a way that, when loaded with half the weight of the housing, it is not more than half the weight an uncompressed - force-free - state is compressed. Therefore, it can raise at least significant parts of the necessary load-bearing capacity.
