Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner with a Electric motor and one ending in a suction mouth Suction line, the suction mouth on the underside by a Bottom plate is limited and the floor plate continues te support sections.
For vacuum cleaners or attachments for vacuum cleaners in Form of suction nozzles or the like is known to the Suction mouth on the underside facing the floor to be treated, especially in the direction of displacement on the front and back, limit by a bottom plate. Such floor plates are usually made from a metallic plant fabric made. In the course of vacuuming textile Flooring slides the cleaning device, in particular in the area of the suction mouth using the base plate the surface to be cleaned. For example, in the German rule patent application 2 95 484 Darge a cleaning device , which aligns a usual, parallel to the ground te floor plate to limit the suction mouth.
In view of the prior art described above nik becomes a technical problem of the invention seen in it a vacuum cleaner the one in question Kind to improve fluidic.
This problem is first and foremost with Subject of claim 1 solved, being abge is that a support section in a cross cut in the direction of displacement of the vacuum cleaner is curved according to a wheel tread. From this results compared to the known prior art small contact area in the area of the base plate. At forms the known ground-parallel configurations approximately the entire base plate from a support surface. In addition, training is also known at which is the rear floor boundary in the direction of displacement the suction mouth towards the one to be maintained The floor is folded. This will in particular with a medium or deep pile carpet this condensed. In addition, the flow area is reduced, which further leads to higher pressure losses in the flow the carpet. Furthermore are through the resulting high vacuum in the area of Suction mouth relatively high pushing forces to move the Vacuum cleaner required on the floor to be maintained. The inventive design of the floor plate te is at least with the same pushing force increased dust absorption. The support section is in cross section corresponding to a wheel tread or curved according to a wing profile. Terms Lich the latter is significant that the greatest pre-vol exercise is only near the edge of the opening. The Trag Surface profile is so designed that it is at übli cher forward movement of the vacuum cleaner the rear Parts of the profile is in front. Through this in cross section curved formation of the support section is the Carpeting, especially for medium or high pile coverings, only to achieve a necessary one Vacuum sealed but not compressed, which enables a better flow. By the resulting lower losses is a higher volume flow and thus an improved dust Recording achieved, with the same or ever even lower pushing forces depending on the type of covering. In a further development of the subject matter of the invention, wherein a support section is made in front of and behind the suction mouth forms, it is provided that both support sections are the same. As a result, the base plate is in Direction of movement both in front of and behind the suction mouth in a cross section corresponding to a wheel arch che or a wing profile curved. Such a, evenly curved, support sections having base plate can be used as metal or be designed as a plastic plate. Essential here is that a hard material is selected. In a advantageous development of the subject of the invention it is provided that the support sections differ are designed. So it can be provided that the supports arranged at the front in the cut has a smaller radius of curvature than the rear support section in the direction of displacement. It is also proposed that the support section on the suction mouth side into a floor section parallel to the floor transforms. The latter is in height to the support surface Chen the support sections spaced so that this Edge section not sealing on the part to be maintained Ground. This affects this parallel to the floor Edge section not negative for the flow of the Carpet or on the pushing forces. Correspond chend a wheel tread or a wing profile According to the invention, the support sections are transverse cut through sections of a circle, especially together put circular sections of different radii, formed, for which it is proposed that the radius of curvature the 0.25 to 2 times the suction mouth width in sliding tung corresponds. An embodiment is preferred here device in which the radius of curvature is 1/3 to 1/1 times the suction mouth width in the direction of displacement corresponds. For example, the ratio is from suction mouth width to the radius of curvature of the in displacement erection of the front support section about 2: 1 and rear support section about 1.5: 1. Furthermore, vorese to achieve an improved dust absorption hen that a vertical measure of the cant of the edition section opposite the edge section 1/8 to 1/2 of Radius of the support section corresponds. In this regard it is further proposed that the curvature on the Suction mouth edge opposite side of the support cut over the cant with respect to the suction mouth edge is continued. This is the reason probably in the forward displacement direction as well as in the Backward shift direction in the area of the respective front support section a soft, even Thrust zone formed, whereby the pushing forces in particular especially for medium and high-pile carpets be wrested. Finally, it is envisaged that the support section at least across the Ver length of the suction mouth measured stretches, causing this entire length of the Saugmun of the even sealing of the carpet for Obtaining a necessary negative pressure is given. The bottom plate according to the invention has an effect the thread / fiber pick-up, the coarse dirt pick-up and edge / front suction compared to conventional Bottom plates not disadvantageous. Beyond that this also with regard to acoustics and the appearance of the goods comparable. When picking up dust from cracks / joints an increase has been identified.
Es zeigt:The invention is based on the attached Drawing, which is only an embodiment represents, explained in more detail. It shows:
Fig. 1 einen Sauggerätevorsatz für einen Staubsauger der in Rede stehenden Art; Fig. 1 shows a vacuum cleaner attachment for a vacuum cleaner of the type in question;
Fig. 2 eine schematische Schnittdarstellung gemäß der Linie II-II in Fig. 1, Fig. 2 is a schematic sectional view according to the line II-II in Fig. 1,
Fig. 3 eine Unteransicht des Gerätes gemäß Fig. 1; Fig. 3 is a bottom view of the device of FIG. 1;
Fig. 4 is an individual perspective view of a base plate of the device.
First shown and described with reference to FIG. 1 is an attachment 1 in the form of a suction nozzle for a vacuum cleaner, not shown.
This attachment has a suction mouth 2 on the underside, in which a suction line ( not shown) opens.
This suction line is for achieving a suction air flow mes with an electromo arranged in the vacuum cleaner Gate / blower motor in fluid communication.
As can be seen from the sectional view in FIG. 2, the suction mouth 2 in the direction of displacement VR of the device 1 is delimited both at the front and at the rear by a base plate 3 . Via this base plate 3 , the device 1 is supported in the suction area on the floor 4 to be maintained.
As can further be seen from this sectional view, the base plate 3 - viewed in the direction of displacement VR - forms a front support section 5 and a rear support section 6 , which support sections 5 , 6 are curved in a cross section in the direction of displacement VR according to FIG. 2 according to a wheel tread are.
These cross-sectionally shaped support sections 5 and 6 have different radii, the radius r 'of the front support section 5 approximately - measured in the displacement direction VR - half the suction mouth width b. The radius r ″ of the rear support section 6 corresponds in the exemplary embodiment shown to approximately 0.7 times the suction mouth width b.
The curvatures of the support sections 5 and 6 are directed towards the floor 4 , which results in a more or less small support surface depending on the flooring. Thus, the device 1 is supported in the area of the suction mouth 2 in the case of carpets with a low pile height in cross sections. In the case of carpets with a medium to large pile height according to FIG. 2, there are small contact surfaces, the length of which along the direction of displacement VR is smaller than the widths of the respective contact section measured in the same direction. The device 1 is therefore supported only over a partial area of the entire base plate in the area of the suction mouth 2 .
The support sections 5 and 6 go on the suction mouth side in each case into a floor-parallel edge section 7 , the latter being exaggerated relative to the apex of the respective support section 5 or 6 . The vertical dimension of this elevation u corresponds in the exemplary embodiment shown to approximately one-eighth of the radius r 'of the front support section 5 . As a result of this configuration, the floor-parallel Randab sections 7 extend above the support area on the floor 4 to be maintained and therefore do not have a disruptive effect.
The curvatures of the respective support section 5 , 6 are continued on the side of the support section 5 , 6 opposite the suction mouth edge 7 via the cant dimension u with respect to the suction mouth edge 7 , so that both in the direction of displacement VR and against the water, each soft run-up zone Z results.
As can be seen from the bottom view in FIG. 3, first of all the support sections 5 and 6 extend at least over the length l of the suction mouth 2 measured transversely to the direction of displacement VR. It can also be seen here that the two separate support sections 5 and 6 for forming a unitary base plate 3 are connected by means of webs 8 extending over the suction mouth 2 .
The base plate 3 according to the invention preferably consists of a metallic material. However, configurations made of a hard plastic or the like are also conceivable.
Due to the inventive design of the Bodenplat te 3 , the carpet 4 is well sealed to achieve the necessary negative pressure, with the ge curved support sections 5 , 6 a compression of the carpet 4 is counteracted. This results in an improved flow (shown by the arrows y), which results in a desired increased volume flow in the area of the suction mouth 2 to improve the dust intake, without increasing the suction power of the vacuum cleaner.
In addition to the fluidic improvement of the floor plate 3 is reduced by the inventive design, the pushing force to move the device 1 on the floor 4 to be maintained, especially in medium and deep-pile carpets.
