Hierdurch wird eine Keilfläche bereitgestellt, durch die eine in den Teppichflor eingesunkene Staubsaugerdüse bei einer Vorwärts- oder Rückwärtsbewegung (in Arbeitsrichtung) wieder aus dem textilen Bodenbelag herausgehoben wird. Bei einer üblichen Breite der Schräge von etwa 10 bis 20 mm wird zwischen der vorderen und hinteren Kante eine ausreichende Höhendifferenz bereitgestellt, um auch bei einem tiefen Einsinken ein sicheres Anheben der Staubsaugerdüse zu ermöglichen. Erfindungsgemäß schließt sich unmittelbar an die hintere Saugmundkante eine Gleitschräge an, die gegenüber der Horizontalebene um einen Winkel zwischen 1,5° und 2,5°, insbesondere 2° geneigt ist und sich ausgehend von der hinteren Saugmundkante unterbrechungsfrei über eine Länge von zumindest 30 mm nach hinten erstreckt. Vorzugsweise erstreckt sich die Gleitschräge von der hinteren Saugmundkante unterbrechungsfrei über eine Länge von zumindest 35 mm. Insbesondere weist die Gleitschräge in der Arbeitsrichtung eine Länge von 35 bis 45, besonders bevorzugt von etwa 40 mm auf. Durch die besonders großflächige und nahezu horizontal ausgerichtete Gleitschräge kann die Staubsaugerdüse sicher abgestützt werden, dass selbst bei im Saugbetrieb zusätzlich auftretenden Ansaugkräften ein zu tiefes Einsinken der Saugmundkanten mit einer übermäßigen Belastung der Fasern eines textilen Bodenbelages sicher vermieden werden kann. Überraschenderweise hat es sich gezeigt, dass durch die leichte Anschrägung von 1° bis 5° die Gleitschräge - im Gegensatz zu einem horizontal ausgerichteten Plateau - weiterhin einen ausreichenden Lufttransport zur Saugmundkante hin ermöglicht.
