Definitions
- the invention relates to a vacuum cleaner nozzle with a housing and a suction mouth arranged on the underside of the housing (housing bottom) which is delimited by at least one suction mouth edge at the front in a working direction and a suction mouth edge at the rear in the working direction.
- the front edge of the suction mouth and the rear edge of the suction mouth extend in a horizontal plane.
- a suction channel is arranged inside the housing, to which a suction fan can be connected to generate a suction air flow.
- the suction air flow enters the suction channel through the suction mouth.
- both the cleaning properties and the mobility of a vacuum cleaner nozzle are decisively influenced by the design of the suction mouth edges of the adjacent areas of the underside of the housing (sliding sole).
- the edges of the suction mouth come into contact with the surface of the floor covering.
- the suction mouth lies to a certain extent sealingly against the floor surface, so that the suction air flow is guided through the textile material. This means that dirt particles embedded in the textile fibers can also be loosened and removed.
- the Post-Released EP 3 047 775 A1 also shows a generic vacuum cleaner nozzle.
- the invention is based on the object of specifying a vacuum cleaner nozzle which has good cleaning properties, protects a textile floor material to be cleaned and at the same time has good mobility and maneuverability in suction operation.
- the rear edge of the suction mouth is immediately followed by a sliding slope, which is inclined at an angle of between 1.5° and 2.5°, in particular 2°, to the horizontal plane and extends without interruption over a length of at least 30 mm, starting from the rear edge of the suction mouth extends backwards.
- the sliding bevel extends uninterruptedly from the rear edge of the suction mouth over a length of at least 35 mm.
- the sliding bevel has a length of 35 to 45 mm, particularly preferably about 40 mm, in the working direction.
- the vacuum cleaner nozzle can be securely supported so that even with additional suction forces occurring during suction operation, the suction mouth edges sinking in too deeply with excessive stress on the fibers of a textile floor covering can be reliably avoided.
- the sliding bevel - in contrast to a horizontally aligned plateau - still allows sufficient air transport to the edge of the suction mouth.
- the cleaning effect can be significantly increased compared to a horizontal configuration.
- the sliding bevel is designed without interruption, i.e. there are no openings or breakthroughs provided in this area, such as these must be provided for adjustable support elements such as sealing lips or bristle strips.
- a defined flow pattern can be established over the entire length and the entire width of the slide slope.
- the angle of inclination of the sliding bevel in the working direction can be determined individually at each point on the surface relative to the horizontal plane or a plane lying parallel thereto and has any value in the angular range claimed by the invention at each point on the surface.
- the immediate, i. H. in particular without an intermediate plateau and with a radius of curvature of less than 2 mm, the sliding bevel adjoining the rear edge of the suction mouth thus functionally forms part of the edge of the suction mouth.
- the sliding bevel extends in a transverse direction over at least 75% of the width of the rear edge of the suction mouth.
- the sliding bevel can particularly preferably extend over more than 90%, in particular more than 95%, of the width of the rear edge of the suction mouth.
- the width of the rear edge of the suction mouth is preferably at least 80%, particularly preferably at least 90%, in particular more than 95% of the width of the housing.
- the suction mouth and/or one behind it arranged bevel have a different configuration, in particular for edge suction, ie for cleaning by a lateral suction air stream entering the housing.
- the sliding bevel extends over the entire width of the rear edge of the suction mouth. This prevents a deviating inflow behavior outside of the sliding bevel according to the invention. At the same time, the sliding bevel also provides a particularly large contact surface, which results in good force distribution and good lateral support.
- the sliding bevel has a linear gradient in the working direction in each longitudinal section.
- the angle of inclination does not change in the longitudinal direction (working direction). In the transverse direction, however, the angle of inclination can vary within the range according to the invention.
- the sliding bevel has the same linear gradient in the working direction in each longitudinal section. This means that the angle of inclination of the sliding surface has the same value at every point on the surface. As a result, a particularly uniform flow onto the rear edge of the suction mouth can be achieved both in the longitudinal direction and in the transverse direction. Furthermore, a punctiform load on the floor covering to be cleaned is avoided.
- the rear edge of the suction mouth is straight.
- a particularly simple and uniform flow behavior can be produced.
- the manufacture of the vacuum cleaner nozzle is simplified.
- the sliding bevel is designed as a flat surface.
- the suction mouth can be prevented from sinking into a flexible floor covering by more than the height difference between the rear edge of the suction mouth and the highest point of the sliding slope, since the sliding slope is then already in full contact with the upper side of the floor covering. The load is distributed evenly and without local stresses.
- the rear edge of the suction mouth is curved.
- the curvature is, in particular, mirror-symmetrical about a central plane of the vacuum cleaner nozzle, with the lateral ends of the rear edge of the suction mouth being positioned further forward in the working direction than the central vertex.
- the curvature can, in particular, be in the form of a circular arc segment or a polynomial curve.
- At least one thread lifter can be embedded in the sliding bevel.
- the thread lifter is expediently positioned in such a way that it does not or only insignificantly disturb the flow on the surface of the sliding bevel.
- it can be embedded in the sliding bevel in such a way that the textile material of the thread lifter, in particular inclined bristle velor, is flush with the surrounding surface of the sliding bevel in the compressed state.
- a slide-on bevel is arranged in front of the front edge of the suction mouth. Since the vacuum cleaner nozzle is already prevented from sinking into the floor covering due to the large-area sliding slope according to the invention, the sliding-on slope can also be formed with a small sliding-on angle. According to the invention, the sliding-on angle is less than 10°, in particular 7° to 10°. Due to the slight upstand, it is still possible that on the Dirt particles lying on the floor surface get under the slide-on slope and thus in the effective area of the suction air flow.
- Support rollers are expediently arranged on the housing behind the sliding bevel, which support the vacuum cleaner nozzle against tilting during a backward movement during operation. Due to the improved supporting effect of the sliding bevel according to the invention, however, the support rollers can be made smaller.
- An adjustable support element in particular a sealing lip or a bristle strip, is expediently arranged on the housing.
- the support element can be adjusted between a first, raised, functional position and a second, lowered, functional position.
- switching between carpet operation and smooth floor operation can be provided.
- the support element In the raised state, the support element is moved so far into the housing that the suction mouth can rest on the floor surface to be cleaned and the sliding bevel according to the invention is fully effective.
- a movement into the lowered functional position lifts the vacuum cleaner nozzle off the floor surface for operation on smooth floors, so that a suction air flow can pass between the floor surface and the underside of the housing.
- the adjustable support element is expediently arranged in front of the suction mouth. This ensures that the vacuum cleaner nozzle is evenly supported on both sides when operating on smooth floors.
- a sealing element in particular a sealing lip, can also be arranged behind the sliding bevel, which can be adjusted concurrently with the support element and provides a seal to the rear in smooth floor operation, see above that the incoming suction air flow is concentrated on the front area and the side areas.
- FIG. 1 an embodiment of a vacuum cleaner nozzle according to the invention is shown with a housing 1, the underside of which is visible.
- a suction mouth 2 is arranged therein, which is delimited by a suction mouth edge 3 at the front in a working direction x and a suction mouth edge 4 at the rear in the working direction x.
- the front suction mouth edge 3 and the rear suction mouth edge 4 extend in a horizontal plane H.
- the suction mouth 2 runs essentially horizontally in a transverse direction y, with the front suction mouth edge 3 and the rear suction mouth edge 4 each being so concavely curved that the suction mouth 2 tapers towards its lateral edge areas 5 .
- the rear suction mouth edge 4 is immediately followed by a sliding bevel 6 which is inclined relative to the horizontal plane H by an angle ⁇ of between 1° and 5°, in particular between 1.5° and 2.5°.
- the angle ⁇ in the 2 shown disproportionately large.
- the sliding bevel 6 extends Glide bevel 6 starting from the rear suction mouth edge 4 without interruption over a length I of at least 30 mm.
- the sliding bevel 6 extends in the transverse direction y over a width b which corresponds to approximately 75% of the width B of the rear edge 4 of the suction mouth.
- the sliding bevel 6 has a linear slope with a constant slope angle ⁇ .
- the figure also shows that a thread lifter is embedded both in the sliding bevel 6 and in a slide-on bevel 7 arranged in front of the front edge 3 of the suction mouth. Its bristles made of slanting bristles protrude slightly over the surface of the sliding slope 6 or the sliding slope 7 in the stress-free, relaxed state. However, they can be compressed to such an extent that they are flush with the surface.
- the slide-on slope is inclined by a slide-on angle ⁇ of approximately 10° (shown exaggerated) in relation to the horizontal.
- a support element in the form of a bristle strip 9 is also arranged in front of the slide-on slope 7, which can be moved back and forth between a retracted carpeted position and an extended smooth floor position.
- Support rollers 10 are arranged behind the sliding slope 6, the lowest point of which touches the horizontal plane H.
- suction channel 11 located inside the housing can be connected to a vacuum cleaner fan by means of a suction opening via a suction nozzle 12 .
