Definitions
- the invention relates to a chair according to the preamble of Claim 1.
- a chair of the type mentioned be improved so that the adjusting devices ins Inside the chair are misplaced, no reason to get caught of clothes and injuries and in different Backrest settings are securely anchored.
- the adjustment mechanisms are largely inside the chair seat arranged and can be easily by pulling the armrests loosened forwards and upwards and then by leaning of the chair user to the backrest automatically in the each other stable position of the backrest set become.
- the chair shown in the figures has a seat 10 on who stands on four legs 12.
- One regarding the seat 10 is inclined upwards and backwards backrest 14 connected to the seat via a narrow weakening part 16.
- Seat 10, legs 12, backrest 14 and weakening part 16 are integrally formed from plastic. As a result of the narrowed and thus resilient weakening part 16 can the backrest 14 pivoted with respect to the seat 10 become.
- Both sides of the backrest 14 are by means of swivel joints 18, of which only the front can be seen in FIGS. 1 and 2 is, with the upper end of each an arcuate Armrest 20 articulated.
- the two armrests, by those in Figures 1 and 2 also only for viewers pointing is seen while the other is behind the drawing plane is also made of plastic.
- the respective lower end of each armrest 20 is over one to be explained in more detail below, inside the Seat 10 each near a side wall 22 of the same with the Ally seat 10.
- a cover plate 24 is provided, which one to the Belonging to the adjusting mechanism to be explained below Elongated hole 26 in the side wall 22 of the seat 10 covered.
- the Cover disc 24 is shown in dashed lines in Figures 3 to 5 Double line indicated. Because the two adjustment mechanisms between seat 10 and armrests 20 mirror image the same are only one of them, namely the one in the figures 1 and 2 described behind the drawing level. At The sections of FIGS. 3 to 5 are therefore not closed seeing backrest 14 to think on the right.
- the seat 10 is shown in vertical section, while the associated armrest 20 in Figures 3 to 5 for better Clarity is omitted. From within the Armrest 20 extending side wall 22 is in Figures 3 to 5 only the elongated hole 26 penetrating the same see.
- the slot 26 is perpendicular to a guide member 27 penetrates circular cross section that in the elongated hole 26th between two locking positions according to FIG. 3 or according to FIG. 5 is slidable.
- the guide member 26 is on a slightly retracted front stop 28 of the elongated hole 26, while it in the 5 at the rear end of the elongated hole 26 is present.
- the guide member 28 is on the outside with the associated armrest 20 firmly connected while it is inside the side wall 22 of the seat 10 connected to a cam part which is generally designated 30.
- the cam part 30 is from the guide member 28 obliquely backwards upwards. From Cam part 30 stands approximately vertically projecting upwards Guide pin 32 from. Also with the governing body 27 one with its free end 33 against the underside of the Seat 10 pressing spiral spring 34 connected.
- This cam guide or guide curve 38 acts on the one hand with the upper acute-angled end 40 of the Cam part 30 and on the other hand with the free end of the Guide pin 32 together. It has a front, lower one straight section 42 and a rear, slightly higher straight section 44 and a one in between Stop 46 to the rear forming recess. The two rectilinear sections 42 and 44 run approximately parallel to Underside of the seat 10.
- the interconnected parts 27, 30, 32 and 34 form together a locking part, generally designated 48 of the adjustment mechanism.
- the adjustment mechanism shown in Figures 3 to 5 works as follows.
- a force F 1 acts on the guide member 27, which is directed obliquely upwards and backwards.
- a downward force F 2 acts on the spiral spring 34 via the seat 10.
- the upper end 40 of the cam part 30 is pulled against the stop 46 and the guide member 27 against the stop 28 of the elongated hole 26.
- the backrest 14 is thus locked in the steeper position according to FIG. 1. This position is shown in Fig.3.
- FIG. 4 shows what happens when the armrest 20 is pulled slightly forwards and upwards. This pull creates a force F 3 , and by relieving the backrest 14, the force F 1 is reduced.
- the upper end 40 of the cam part 30 comes free from the stop 46 and the guide member 27 comes free from the stop 28.
- the free end of the guide pin 32 bears against the front straight section 42 of the cam guide 38, since the entire locking part 48 moves somewhat upwards and forwards. This movement translates into a slight rotary movement of the locking part 48, so that the position of FIG. 4 is reached.
- the force F 1 increases again and the locking part is moved backwards until the guide member 27 comes to rest on the rear end of the elongated hole 26. In this position, the adjustment mechanism and thus the position of the backrest 14 is again stable, the upper end 40 of the cam part 30 abutting the rear straight section 44 of the cam guide 38, as shown in FIG.

Abstract
Description
- Figur 1
