Definitions
- the invention relates to a device for delivering a predetermined Amount of a flowable medium in a liquid container, in particular cistern according to a water closet the preamble of claim 1. Furthermore relates the invention, a holding device according to the preamble of Claim 24.
- Foaming agents, foam or the like are in particular provided as the flowable medium.
- the foaming agent is used to form a closed-pore foam carpet in a toilet or similar bowl.
- the foaming agents used with preference or foam produced therefrom in contact with air for Sealing "tends to result in the dispensing opening or the dispensing valve for the foaming agent or foam literally growing over after the device has not been used for a long time. The device is then no longer functional after a long period of non-use.
- the container for the flowable medium designed as a flexible bag in which the flowable medium is filled without air inclusion.
- the bag falls according to the delivery of the flowable Medium together while avoiding any air supply.
- the flowable medium is with a check valve Coupled input of a diaphragm pump.
- To an exit of the The diaphragm pump is an outlet line via a further check valve connected.
- the open end of the outlet pipe is in the liquid container.
- the diaphragm pump has a flat membrane. The membrane is deformed by means of an actuating stamp. The actuation stamp is moved by a swimmer using a lever.
- the lever is formed on one side, the float one greater distance than the actuating stamp to the fulcrum of the Lever.
- the force acting on the actuating stamp is thus greater than the buoyancy of the swimmer.
- the float below the actuating stamp appropriate. In this case, the buoyancy of the float is equal to the attack force of the actuating stamp on the membrane.
- the liquid container is on Cistern for a toilet, so a pump cycle corresponds to Diaphragm pump a flushing and refilling process of the cistern.
- Such a device has the disadvantage that for the level Membrane requires a relatively large amount of force is. Furthermore, when using a lever, the constructive Effort relatively high.
- a diaphragm pump with a flat diaphragm has the further disadvantage that the volume change in the Ratio to the volume of the pump chamber is relatively small. This has the consequence that the metered amount of the flowable medium is limited is. This also leads to inaccuracies in the dosing quantity of the flowable medium.
- the shape of the pump chamber further contributes to residues of the flowable medium remain in the pumping chamber.
- the known device has the disadvantage that their installation in a cistern is relatively complex is. There are several attachment points for the device required in the cistern. Furthermore, the device or at least their holding device with regard to their geometric Dimensions to be adapted to the respective cistern. There is therefore a special embodiment for almost every cistern type the device described above or its holding device required. This means a large manufacturing Expenditure.
- the present invention has for its object a device for dispensing a predetermined amount of a flowable Provide medium in which the force for the diaphragm pump reduced, the relative volume change in the pumping chamber increased and the design effort reduced. Furthermore, the device should be simple in almost all commercially available cisterns can be assembled, the number fastening elements should be as small as possible.
- the membrane is bag-like is and the actuating stamp attacks the end of the bag such that the membrane bag when exposed to the actuating stamp on it over its attack surface.
- the actuating stamp preferably comprises one spherical cap or mushroom-like attack surface. This contributes a further reduction in the effort, since the contact surface between the actuating stamp and the membrane increases with increasing depth of impression. So he takes the actuating stamp pressure exerted on the membrane with increasing Impression depth continuously. This comes down to the printing needs for the deformation of the sack-like membrane, the largest in the initial phase of the indentation process is.
- the float is inside one assigned to the diaphragm pump in a fixed position, in particular basket connected to the diaphragm pump held up and down.
- the basket serves as a protective device for the swimmer and ensures that the float is vertical only is movable.
- the membrane pump and / or the basket are preferably by means of a holding device can be connected to the liquid container. This ensures a stable, fixed attachment of the diaphragm pump and / or the basket ensures that for a low Force to actuate the diaphragm pump is advantageous.
- the float is preferably a hollow body open at the bottom, in particular pot-shaped.
- the float When emptied of the liquid container thereby becomes the one acting downwards Strength increased. This will fill the pump chamber faster reached. Conversely, when pouring water in the liquid container or cistern the rate of increase of the operating stamp reduced. With that the Displacement of the flowable medium from the pump chamber is delayed.
- the storage container can be made in a manner known per se be a flexible bag for the flowable medium, which preferably is made of a multilayer film.
- the multilayer film For example, an aluminum, polyethylene, Include PVC and / or soft PVC film.
- PVC polyethylene
- PVC polyethylene
- soft PVC film e.g., polyethylene
- the device preferably has an adjustable stop by which the float's upward movement is limited is.
- the adjustable stop allows in particular adjust the dosing quantity of the flowable medium.
- the maximum height of the float can be attached to the liquid container or adjust cistern. Because the device for different Types of liquid containers is provided the membrane and the float are a different hydrostatic Exposed to pressure to which the device is attached the adjustable stop is adjustable.
- the membrane and the actuating stamp are essentially rotationally symmetrical and arranged in such a way that they have a common axis of rotational symmetry. This contributes to functional reliability and to minimizing the Effort at.
- the diameter of the contact surface of the actuating stamp is preferably about 1/4 to 1/5 of the diameter of the membrane. The functional reliability of the Device optimized.
- the float and the actuating stamp are preferred slidable in the direction of a common axis. Thereby the total buoyancy of the swimmer on the Actuating stamp essentially transferred directly.
- the membrane is preferably made of rubber or the like elastic material. This will damage the membrane largely excluded as well as a long lifespan of the same guaranteed.
- the membrane pump expediently has a membrane chamber into which the sack-like membrane extends and within that the actuating stamp interacts with it, wherein the membrane chamber has openings through which it is fluidly connected to the liquid container.
- the membrane chamber has openings through which it is fluidly connected to the liquid container.
- the membrane chamber advantageously has at least one Vent opening. This essentially allows water penetrate freely into the membrane chamber from below; and Air trapped in the membrane chamber can accordingly escape upwards out of the chamber.
- the holding device comprises a holding rod, which is connected at one end to a basket or pump housing and connectable to the liquid container with the other end is.
- a holding device enables one particularly simple assembly of the device in the liquid container.
- the holding rod can be connected to the basket via a joint or Pump housing to be connected.
- the joint can be used as a universal joint or hinge joint. This is the holding device can then also be introduced into the liquid container, if the inside of the liquid container is difficult is accessible. This is particularly true for so-called concealed cisterns to. Their interior is usually only relative narrow opening in the side wall of the cistern accessible.
- the holding rod preferably has a plurality of in the longitudinal direction spaced predetermined breaking points, so that the length of the support rod to the size or different Shape of the liquid container is adaptable. In this way can each type of cistern a predetermined breaking point assign so that the length of the support rod immediately be adjusted to the respective cistern before installation can.
