Definitions
- the invention relates to a floor mopping device with a handle that has a support body with at least one flexible wiping element suspended from it connected is.
- a floor mopping device of the type mentioned is from DE 29 701 349 U1 known. It is used for wet cleaning of floors and for this Purpose on a zigzag or loop path moves the surface to be cleaned away.
- the flexible wiping elements show always backwards, which forces the floor mopping device in its entirety each time the vertices of the zigzag are reached Wegs in its entirety in a pivotal movement, if Tangling of the wiping elements should be avoided.
- the invention has for its object a floor mopping device of the beginning mentioned type to develop in such a way that when cleaning a floor surface in the course of a zigzag-shaped back and forth movement at the vertices is no longer necessary, the floor mop in its entirety to move a pivoting movement.
- the Support body is rotatable about an axis which is parallel to the longitudinal direction of the Stiels extends and that means for suppressing tilting of the support body, based on the stem, are provided.
- the handle of the floor mop can thereby be held in an optimal posture with both hands gripped and zigzag or loop-shaped over a floor surface to be cleaned be moved away without it being at the apex of this movement changes in hand or body posture.
- the means to suppress tilting of the supporting body are formed by a column or cone guide.
- the rotatability of the support body, relative to the handle, can be in at least one Direction can be limited by a stop of the stem, the one with a counter stop the support body can be brought into engagement. This allows certain cleaning processes unwanted evasive movements of the Prevent wiping elements, for example when cleaning a floor surface side skirting together with the floor area.
- the swivel joint can be fixed on the handle or support body Be formed sleeve that a pin of the support body or the stem in at least encloses a partial area.
- the pin and / or the stem can be hollow to reduce the overall weight.
- the anti-rotation device When pulling back the floor mopping device, on the other hand, is the anti-rotation device automatically deactivated with the result that the support body and align the wiping elements optimally to the surface to be cleaned capital.
- the anti-rotation lock is switched on and off automatically. In this respect, their availability is of great help in the intended use Use the floor mop.
- the swivel joint should be part of the Form support body and be releasably attached to the stem.
- the swivel joint can also comprise two relatively rotatable individual parts, attached to the support body on the one hand and to the stem on the other and are separable from each other. This not only gives you the opportunity to Functional parts of the swivel joint to be cleaned after separation and thereby to eliminate pollution-related impairment of function in addition, the possibility of one of the functional parts when replacing the Support body with the wiping elements located there through a new part replace. In this way, the interest of the user can always be satisfied to have an inexpensive floor mopping device that stands out is characterized by particularly good functional reliability.
- a swivel joint if necessary, which is contained in an adapter that is both detachable with the support body as well as connectable to the stem.
- the various functions of the Swivel joint can be optimized in such a training without that disturbing wear and tear is to be expected in a period to be surveyed. Such training is particularly useful for professional applications therefore preferred.
- the floor mopping device shown in Figures 1 and 2 comprises a handle 1, the with a support body 2 with several pendulous, flexible suspended thereon Wiping elements 3 is connected.
- the wiping elements 3 can be made from yarn strands consist of foam or textile strips, such as strips made of nonwoven. They can also be finished to to improve the cleaning effect, for example the surface outstanding print pattern made of an elastic, polymeric material.
- the support body 2 is rotatable about an axis 4 which is aligned with the longitudinal axis of the Stem 1 coincides.
- the handle 1 is cylindrical and at the bottom Out end in a hollow cylindrical column guide of the support body 2. A Tilting of the support body 2, based on the handle 1, is excluded.
- At least one of the counter stops 7 can be used for restriction or suppression the relative mobility of the handle 1, based on the support body 2, designed to be adjustable and, if necessary, by other means having the same effect to be replaced.
- part 10 of the swivel joint 5 a slide 11 is inserted, which is manually inserted into the path of the stop 6 is feasible. This limits the relative rotatability of the handle 1.
- the location of the slide 11 is the manufacturer of the floor mopping device reserved and can be determined as in terms of implementation certain cleaning operations required.
- the handle 1 is against the force of a spring 9 approachable to the support body 2, with a releasable anti-rotation device 10 comes into engagement.
- the anti-rotation device 10 consists essentially of mutually facing, front toothing 12 on the one hand Part of the support body 2 forming sleeve 13 and on the other hand of the pin 8, which is movable together with the handle 1 or part of the Stem 1 forms ..
- the two-sided teeth 12 arrive when pressed together the spring 9 in engagement with each other and prevent further relative rotatability and displacement.
- the anti-rotation is only effective as long as the handle 1 on the between the two-sided toothing 12 available routes in the direction of the support body 2 is.
- the support body 2 is by means of a locking screw 14 relatively displaceable and rotatable with the handle 1 connected.
- Altematv is conceivable for this, a clip connection or the like to apply.
