wobei zumindest ein Teil der Trennwandelemente (2, 2', 2") jeweils eine Entfernungsmeßeinrichtung (12 bis 20) zur berührungslosen Ermittlung des augenblicklichen Abstandes zu einem Bezugspunkt aufweist, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß am Bezugspunkt mindestens ein Sender (14, 18, 24) zum Aussenden von Signalen, insbesondere als elektromagnetische Wellen oder Schallwellen, vorgesehen ist und die Entfernungsmeßeinrichtungen (12 bis 20) jeweils mindestens einen Empfänger (16, 20) zum Empfangen derartiger Signale und eine Berechnungseinrichtung (28) aufweisen, die aus der Laufzeit der Signale den Abstand zum Bezugspunkt ermittelt. - Raumtrennwand nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Entfernungsmeßeinrichtung (12 bis 20) den ermittelten augenblicklichen Abstand zum Bezugspunkt an die Antriebsmittel (8) übermittelt und die Antriebsmittel (8) das die Entfernungsmeßeinrichtung (12 bis 20) aufweisende Trennwandelement (2, 2', 2") in Abhängigkeit von dem ermittelten augenblicklichen Abstand zum Bezugspunkt bewegen, wobei die Antriebsmittel (8) das Trennwandelement (2, 2', 2") anhalten, wenn der ermittelte augenblickliche Abstand null ist. - Raumtrennwand nach Anspruch 2,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Antriebsmittel (8) die Bewegungsgeschwindigkeit des Trennwandelementes (2, 2', 2") verlangsamen, wenn der ermittelte augenblickliche Abstand zum Bezugspunkt einen vorbestimmten Wert unterschreitet. - Raumtrennwand nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3 mit Steuermitteln, die mit den Antriebsmitteln kommunizieren, zur Steuerung der Steuerelemente in bestimmte Positionen,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Entfernungsmeßeinrichtung den ermittelten augenblicklichen Abstand zum Bezugspunkt an die Steuermittel übermittelt. - Raumtrennwand nach Anspruch 4,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß mindestens die jeweils eine Entfernungsmeßeinrichtung (12 bis 20) aufweisenden Trennwandelemente (2, 2', 2") auch mit den Steuermitteln (28) versehen sind. - Raumtrennwand nach Anspruch 4,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Steuermittel (26) außerhalb der Trennwandelemente (2, 2', 2") angeordnet sind. - Raumtrennwand nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 6,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß mindestens ein Teil der eine Entfernungsmeßeinrichtung (12 bis 20) aufweisenden Trennwandelemente (2, 2', 2") mit eigenen Antriebsmitteln (8) versehen ist. - Raumtrennwand nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 7,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Entfernungsmeßeinrichtung (12 bis 20) jedes Trennwandelementes (2, 2', 2'') den Abstand zum benachbarten Trennwandelement und/oder zu einem sonstigen benachbarten Gegenstand wie insbesondere einem feststehenden Anschlußoder sonstigen Gebäudeteil (22) mißt. - Raumtrennwand nach Anspruch 1,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Entfernungsmeßeinrichtungen (12 bis 20) jeweils mindestens noch einen Sender (14, 18) zum Aussenden der Signale aufweisen und die Sender (14, 18) und Empfänger (16, 20) im wesentlichen in Bewegungsrichtung der Trennwandelemente (2, 2', 2") wirken. - Raumtrennwand nach Anspruch 9,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Sender (14, 18) in den Entfernungsmeßeinrichtungen (12 bis 20) der Trennwandelemente (2, 2', 2") Signale einer ersten Art aussendet und der Sender am sonstigen Gegenstand (22) ein Signal einer zweiten Art aussendet. - Raumtrennwand nach Anspruch 9 oder 10,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Entfernungsmeßeinrichtung (12 bis 20) jedes Trennwandelementes (2, 2', 2") zwei Sender (14, 18) und zwei Empfänger (16, 20) aufweist, die zu zwei Paaren aus jeweils einem Sender und einem Empfänger zusammengefaßt sind, von denen das eine Paar (14, 16) im wesentlichen in die eine Bewegungsrichtung und das andere Paar (18, 20) im wesentlichen in die andere Bewegungsrichtung des Trennwandelementes (2, 2', 2") wirkt. - Raumtrennwand nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 9 bis 11,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß Sender (14, 18) und Empfänger (16, 20) an mindestens einer Stirnseite (2a, 2b) der Trennwandelemente (2, 2', 2") angeordnet sind. - Raumtrennwand nach den Ansprüchen 11 und 12,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß das eine aus einem Sender und einem Empfänger bestehende Paar (14, 16) an der einen Stirnseite (2a) und das andere Paar (18, 20) an der entgegengesetzten anderen Stirnseite (2b) angeordnet ist. - Raumtrennwand nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 13,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Sender (14, 18, 24) als Schallwandler zum Aussenden von Ultraschall und die Empfänger (16, 20) als Schallsensoren für den Empfang der Ultraschallwellen ausgebildet sind. - Raumtrennwand nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 14,
gekennzeichnet durch eine Steuereinrichtung (26), die ein Triggersignal erzeugt, das mindestens einen Sender (14, 18, 24) aktiviert und von der Entfernungsmeßeinrichtung (12 bis 20) des benachbarten Trennwandelementes (2, 2', 2") als Referenz zur Ermittlung der Laufzeit der Signale verwendet wird. - Raumtrennwand nach Anspruch 15,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Steuereinrichtung (26) - vorzugsweise zyklisch - ein Triggersignal erzeugt, das gleichzeitig alle Sender (14, 18, 24) aktiviert. - Raumtrennwand nach Anspruch 15 oder 16,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Steuereinrichtung (26) eine für alle Trennwandelemente (2, 2', 2") gemeinsame Steuereinrichtung ist, die außerhalb der Trennwandelemente (2, 2', 2") angeordnet ist und über einen gemeinsamen Datenbus (10, 27) mit den Entfernungsmeßeinrichtungen (12 bis 20) der Trennwandelemente (2, 2', 2") kommuniziert. - Raumtrennwand nach den Ansprüchen 7 und 17,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Steuereinrichtung (26) außerdem zusätzliche Befehle zur Steuerung der Trennwandelemente (2, 2', 2") an die Antriebsmittel (8) dieser Trennwandelemente (2, 2', 2") übermittelt. - Raumtrennwand nach mindestens einem der Ansprüche 15 bis 18,
dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Entfernungsmeßeinrichtungen (12 bis 20) der Trennwandelemente (2, 2', 2") an die Steuereinrichtung (26) über Stromschienen (46) angeschlossen sind, die entlang des Transportweges (6) der Trennwandelemente (2, 2', 2") verlaufen und an denen Schleifkontakte (10) anliegen, die an den Trennwandelementen (2, 2', 2") angeordnet sind.
