Abstract

La présente invention concerne un film de polyester adhérant facilement comprenant un film de polyester à orientation biaxiale servant de couche de base et une couche adhérant facilement. Ce film convient particulièrement comme substrat pour les supports d'enregistrement par transfert thermique à sublimation. La couche de base donne une courbe de changement de dimensions qui, dans la plage comprise entre la température de transition vitreuse du polyester et 240 °C, ne présente aucun point où la pente de la courbe passe de positive à négative. Les changements de dimensions de la couche de base dans cette plage de températures n'excèdent pas 5 %. La couche adhérant facilement est faite (i) d'une résine de polyester hydrosoluble ou hydrodispersable modifiée par une résine de vinyl, ou (II) d'une résine réticulée faire d'un mélange de résine acrylique hydrosoluble ou hydrodispersable et de résine de polyester hydrosoluble ou hydrodispersable, et d'une résine époxy servant d'agent de réticulation.
