Definitions
- the present invention relates to a training device to massage the Palms and improve posture and movement.
- a training device is known from US Pat. No. 3,334,899, spherical at its rod-shaped intermediate element End elements are integrally formed, but this is used Training device as a dumbbell for strength exercises.
- One of the spherical end elements is closable with a Provide opening for filling the hollow training device that is held in the hand on the rod-shaped intermediate element.
- the design and dimensions of this training device are exclusively on the possibility of grasping with hand and filling for selectable weight increase certainly.
- the object of the present invention is a training device to create the type mentioned, its geometric Shaping not just the activation of the meridians serves the palms of the hands, but in combination with them through a more optimal posture and movement especially in the shoulder / chest area to promote the Breathing capacity of the practitioner and with one more universal applicability is achievable.
- the training device thus has two balls with a certain diameter, which by a Rod of certain length can be firmly connected or are connected, with the balls in hand can be.
- a Rod of certain length can be firmly connected or are connected, with the balls in hand can be.
- the meridians over the Palms activated on the other hand, the staff encourages appropriate use an optimal posture and Movement in the shoulder or chest area and thereby guarantees an optimized way of breathing.
- the Training device according to the invention can be used in conjunction with other physical exercises, i.e. in principle whenever a person has movement, energy, Performs breathing exercises or qigong exercises.
- the diameter of the balls depends on the application in different areas.
- the optimal overall length of the training device varies depending on the individual shoulder span of the user, whereby if necessary the length of the user's forearm also matters plays. What is essential is the constantly concave transition or Neck area leading to universal applicability of the Training device also in the area of other movement or Leads physical exercises.
- the training device can consist of several parts, e.g. from two Balls and a rod consist of the transition area is assigned to the balls and / or the intermediate area, so that the user can be according to the application request Training device with the optimal dimensions can put together.
- the individual parts form one-piece training device.
- the training device can be made from a variety of materials, such as Wood, metal, stone or a plastic.
- the training device 10 shown in the exemplary embodiment is from a rod-shaped intermediate element 11 and two spherical end pieces 12 and 13 formed. This one one-piece training device 10 is about its longitudinal axis 14 rotationally symmetrical.
- the rod-shaped, symmetrical to a longitudinal center plane 19 Intermediate element 11 is over a substantial part of it Length, in particular in its longitudinal center region 16 cylindrical.
- a conical region 17 closes on both sides, 18, which in a neck area or transition area 21, 22 to the respective spherical end piece 12, 13 continuously transforms.
- the neck region 21 or 22 is formed in that the Spherical shape of the end piece 12 or 13 in a continuous manner an oppositely directed concave region 23 or 24 passes, which in turn is approximately tangential in the conical Area 17 or 18 of the intermediate element 11 runs into it.
- the term continuous transition is meant to imply that the Spherical shape of the end piece 12 or 13 over a turning area 25, i.e. without jumping into the concave area 23 or 24 passes.
- the neck area 21 or 22 is included configured such that its minimum diameter is smaller than the diameter of the cylindrical Center area 16.
- the dimensions of the training device 10, i.e. the Diameter of the spherical end pieces 12, 13, the Diameter of the thinnest part of the neck area 21, 22, the diameter of the cylindrical central region 16 and the Total length of the rod-shaped training device 10 including the radius of the concave portion 23, 24 depend on whether the exercise machine 10 is for adults or should be suitable for children, each under Taking into account the average height or form. Play for the total length of the Training device 10 physical characteristics of the practitioner, such as Shoulder span and forearm length matter while for the smallest diameter of the neck area and the Diameter of the ball end piece the hand size of the practitioner are essential.
- Preferred dimensions are for the total length of the training device 10 at about 200 mm to 560 mm, for the Diameter of the spherical end piece 12, 13 at about 30 mm to 75 mm and for the diameter of the thinnest point in the Neck area 21, 22 at about 17 mm to 25 mm.
- the standard shape is the diameter of the ball end piece 12, 13 at 47 mm, the diameter of the thinnest point in the Neck area 21, 22 at 21 mm, the diameter of the cylindrical area 16 at 36 mm and the total length of the Training device 10 at 400 mm.
- the training device is, for example, on the outside between the Palms held and turned.
- the spherical End pieces 12, 13 can also from the inside with the Palms are held because the neck area 21, 22nd can easily slide between neighboring fingers and the palms over the "inner" spherical shape of the end pieces 12, 13 can grip. This can be done alone or in combination with other movement exercises. Due to the spherical shape and the rotational symmetry of the rod become the one hand known in traditional Chinese medicine Meridians activated on the palms and on the other hand when used correctly, an optimal posture and Movement in the shoulder or chest area promoted and thus an optimized way of breathing is guaranteed.
- the Exercise equipment can not only be Asian related Movement systems are applied, but takes place due to its geometry in the most diverse range Application.
- the training stick When squatting, the training stick can be held between the palms of the hands with arms outstretched. This prevents the shoulders from being pulled up and the breathing becoming narrower. When jogging, it is possible to take both end balls of the train stick in one hand and to let the stick rotate while running. Here too, coordination of the arm movement achieves deeper and more relaxed breathing, thus reducing the strain on the body while jogging.
- the training rod has 10 larger ones Length dimensions in the range of approx. 600 mm up to 1000 mm or 2000 mm, while the dimensions of the End elements stay the same.
- Bedridden patients can have a positive effect on the respiratory function and thus many other metabolic processes by simply turning the training stick between the palms of their hands.
- the use of the training stick can also be useful for simple movement exercises to train muscles or for coordination exercises. For example, in stretching exercises to mobilize the spinal muscles, which are usually to be done sitting on a chair by turning the trunk sideways, simply holding the rod coordinates not only the movement, but also prevents overstretching through this coordination and thus keeps breathing open.
- the training device or the training rod 10 can be preferred for example made of wood. But it is also possible the training device 10 from a plastic or from a Metal, preferably a light metal, or a stone to manufacture.
- the training device 10 also in the exemplary embodiment is shown and described as being formed in one piece, it is understood that it can also be provided in three parts can, so the three parts, namely rod-shaped Intermediate element and the two spherical end pieces, in not shown in detail to the respective Adapted to requirements, put together or assembled can be.
