- Der zu umreifende Stapel wird mit Hilfe des Förderbandes 10, dessen Fördertrum eben ist (Umlenkrolle 13 in unterer Position), in die Umreifungsposition unter dem Pressmittel 20, dessen Höhe über dem Förderband grösser ist als die Stapelhöhe, gefördert;
- Das Biegemittel 12 wird zum Biegen des Stapels aktiviert (Umlenkrolle 13 in obere Position gefahren) und das Pressmittel 20 wird auf den Stapel abgesenkt und angepresst, wobei der Winkel zwischen den Pressarmen 21 sich an den Winkel des gebogenen Förderbandes 10 anpasst;
- Das Umreifungsmittel wird um den gebogenen und gepressten Stapel gelegt und verschlossen;
- Das Biegemittel 12 wird desaktiviert (Umlenkrolle 13 in untere Position gefahren) und das Pressmittel 20 wird weiter gegen das Förderband 10 bewegt, wobei die Pressarme 21 in eine aufeinander ausgerichtete Position gedrückt werden und der Stapel in eine flache Form gepresst wird.
Claims (11)
- Verfahren zum Umreifen von Stapeln (1) mit einem Umreifungsmittel (4) in einer Umreifungsmaschine, wobei die Stapel (1) aus einer Mehrzahl von mindestens beschränkt biegbaren, flächigen Gegenständen, insbesondere aus Druckprodukten bestehen und wobei das Umreifungsmittel (4) um die Stapel (1) gelegt und mit Hilfe einer Verschlussvorrichtung auf einer vertikalen Seite des Stapels geschlossen wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass Stapel mit einer Stapelhöhe, die kleiner ist als eine durch die Verschlussvorrichtung bestimmte Minimalhöhe durch Biegen aller Gegenstände in Richtung der zu erstellenden Umreifung komprimiert und zur Spannung des Umreifungsmittels (4) nach der Umreifung wieder in ihre ursprüngliche Form ohne Biegung der Gegenstände gebracht werden, während Stapel mit einer Stapelhöhe grösser als die Minimalhöhe ohne Biegung umreift werden.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Gegenstände des zu umreifenden Stapels (1) alle derart gebogen werden, dass der Stapel (1) eine konvex gebogene Seite (2) und eine gegenüberliegende, konkav gebogene Seite (3) erhält, und dass das Umreifungsmittel (4) derart um den komprimierten Stapel (1) gelegt wird, dass es die konkav gebogene Seite (3) geradlinig überspannt.
- Verfahren nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der zu umreifende Stapel (1) in seiner gebogenen Form gepresst wird, bevor und während das Umreifungsmittel (4) umgelegt und verschlossen wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Umreifungsmittel (4) ein Umreifungsband ist und durch Verschweissen verschlossen wird.
- Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 4, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Ausmass der Komprimierung des zu umreifenden Stapels (1) an die Höhe des Stapels angepasst wird.
- Umreifungsmaschine zum Umreifen von Stapeln (1) aus einer Mehrzahl von mindestens beschränkt biegbaren, flächigen Gegenständen, insbesondere aus Druckprodukten, mit einem Umreifungsmittel (4), welche Umreifungsmaschine eine Verschlussvorrichtung aufweist, die zum Verschliessen des Umreifungsmittels (4) auf einer vertikalen Seite des Stapels ausgerüstet ist, sowie ein Biegemittel (12) zum Komprimieren eines zu umreifenden Stapels (1) durch Biegen der Gegenstände des Stapels und ein Pressmittel (20) zur Wiederherstellung einer Stapelform mit ungebogenen Gegenständen, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Biegemittel (12) durch Stapel mit einer Stapelhöhe, die kleiner ist als eine durch die Verschlussvorrichtung bestimmte Minimalhöhe aktivierbar ist und durch Stapel mit einer Stapelhöhe grösser als die Minimalhöhe nicht aktivierbar ist.
- Umreifungsmaschine nach Anspruch 6, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Pressmittel (20) zusätzlich zum Pressen des komprimierten Stapels (1) ausgerüstet ist.
- Umreifungsmaschine nach einem der Ansprüche 6 oder 7, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie zur Förderung der zu umreifenden Stapel (1) in eine Umreifungsposition und zum Wegfördern der umreiften Stapel (1) aus der Umreifungsposition ein Förderband (10) mit einem ebenen Fördertrum aufweist und dass das Biegemittel (12) eine senkrecht zum Förderband (10) bewegbare Umlenkrolle (13) ist, durch die das Fördertrum des Förderbandes (10) in eine gebogene Form bringbar ist.
- Umreifungsmaschine nach Anspruch 8, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Pressmittel (20) senkrecht zum Förderband (10) beweglich ist.
- Umreifungsmaschine nach Anspruch 9, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass das Pressmittel (20) zwei gegeneinander beschränkt verschwenkbare Pressarme (21) aufweist, die durch ein Rückstellmittel (22) in einer gegeneinander gewinkelten Stellung gehalten werden und dass die Schwenkbarkeit der Pressarme derart beschränkt ist, dass der Winkel zwischen ihnen höchstens 180° betragen kann.
- Umreifungsmaschine nach einem der Ansprüche 6 bis 10, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass sie Steuermittel aufweist, mit deren Hilfe das Ausmass der Komprimierung der zu umreifenden Stapel (1) an die Stapelhöhe anpassbar ist.
