Definitions

  • the invention relates to a fitting device for a lamp of a vehicle headlamp with a mounted on the back of the reflector mounting ring, with a pivotable U-shaped retaining spring, which serves to hold the lamp in the mounting ring and their legs connecting web in a directed towards the reflector bearing shell a projection of the mounting ring is arranged and held in the bearing shell by facing away from the reflector bearing surfaces of the mounting ring.
  • Such a generic fitting device for a lamp of a vehicle headlamp is known from DE 37 29 984 C1.
  • the mountable on a reflector mounting ring is designed sleeve-shaped and manufactured by injection molding or die casting.
  • the lamp is inserted from the back of the headlamp into the central opening of the mounting ring and abuts with its base flange on a bearing surface of the mounting ring.
  • the legs of a spring wire existing U-shaped retaining spring are under bias and hold the base flange against the support surface of the mounting ring.
  • One leg of the U-shaped retaining spring is made longer and engages behind with its free end portion of the edge of an inserted into the mounting ring holding opening.
  • the legs connecting straight web of the retaining spring is rotatably mounted in a bearing shell of a projection.
  • the projection is directed radially inwards and has on the side facing the reflector towards the bearing shell.
  • an additional passage opening is introduced into the mounting ring.
  • the passage opening is designed to be relatively large, so that the service life of the serving for the production of the mounting ring tool is not reduced because of the passage opening.
  • this In order to stably perform the mounting ring with the serving for demoulding the bearing shell large passage opening, this has a relatively large outer diameter and is sleeve-shaped at its outer edge.
  • the mounting ring would have to have even larger external dimensions if a larger one was to accommodate the lamp central opening and a larger in size bearing surface for the base flange would be necessary.
  • the retaining spring rests with lateral sections of its straight web on facing away from the reflector bearing surfaces of the mounting ring. Due to the contact surfaces of the mounting ring of the web is held radially in the bearing shell. The adjoining the web portions of the two legs of the retaining spring adjacent to facing bearing surfaces of retaining elements of the mounting ring. By the latter contact surfaces, the retaining spring is held axially to the pivot axis. In order to mount the retaining spring, the two legs must be pressed very far to each other, so that the web connecting the legs bends and can be inserted into the bearing shell of the projection. Such assembly is cumbersome and time consuming, since it is only manually feasible.
  • the object of the invention is to make the fitting device described in the preamble of claim 1 for a lamp of a vehicle headlight such that introduced to produce the bearing surface for the retaining spring no downtime of the tool and the stability of the mounting ring reducing additional passage opening in the mounting ring must be able to produce the socket ring even with a large central opening or large support surface for the lamp with small outer dimensions.
  • the pivotable retaining spring is arranged with the central portion of a bulge of its web in the bearing shell of the projection, which protrudes radially from the mounting ring to the outside and adjacent to the bulge lateral portions two facing sides of retaining lugs surmounted by the mounting ring, each having at least one contact surface for the two lateral portions of the web.
  • the mounting ring on the pivot bearing in the radial direction only with the bearing shell having projection and the side of the projection arranged retaining lugs must project beyond the lamp.
  • the mounting of the retaining spring is simple and machine feasible, since the retaining spring is to mount with the middle portion of the bulge of its web only in the bearing shell andfineschwenken after hanging the spring to the reflector away side facing the mounting ring.
  • the lateral sections of the web adjacent to the bulge of the web are adjacent to an abutment surface on either side of the protrusion arranged holding lugs.
  • the retaining spring is held during its pivoting with the web radially to the pivot axis in the bearing shell of the projection.
  • the retaining spring is locked in the direction of the pivot axis when the facing sides of the two retaining lugs of the mounting ring serve as abutment surfaces for the leg portions of the bulge of the web. This should be enough clearance between the bulge of the web and the two retaining lugs, so that the retaining spring is easily swiveled.
  • the retaining spring When holding lugs, which have small dimensions radially to the central axis of the mounting ring, the retaining spring is held radially to the pivot axis securely in the bearing shell, when the mounting ring adjacent to the central portion of the bulge of the retaining spring for the two leg portions of the bulge two directed against the direction of insertion of the lamp Has contact surfaces and serving for the lateral portions of the web abutment surfaces of the retaining lugs are formed by the counter to the direction of insertion of the lamp directed end faces of the retaining lugs.
  • the dimensions of the retaining lugs may correspond radially to the central axis of the mounting ring approximately the radial dimension of the bearing shell having projection.
  • the two holding lugs each have a stop cam for the leg portions of the bulge of the web of the retaining spring at the opposite end of the insertion direction of the lamp directed end portions.
  • the retaining spring is not pivotable so far that it falls out of the bearing shell of the projection with the central portion of its bulge.
  • the holding lugs together with a projection having the central wall, seen in the direction of insertion of the lamp, a U-shaped bearing point for the retaining spring, wherein the bearing shell having projection at the free end of the central wall is formed and with its bearing shell surmounted the outside of the middle wall, which at the opposite of Insertion direction to the lamp side facing the contact surfaces for the leg portions of the bulge of the web of the retaining spring.
  • the bearing for the retaining spring is simple and inexpensive to produce.
  • the two retaining lugs are made very stable with the mounting ring and stiffen the mounting ring when the two retaining lugs are formed by ribs, which extend to the reflector side facing the mounting ring out and are molded onto this side.
  • the retaining spring with the free end portion of at least one leg is releasably connected to a holding element of the mounting ring.
  • the retaining ring in its stability weakening additional passage opening is necessary when the mounting ring on the opposite side of the pivot bearing and the pivot bearing facing away from an integrally formed retaining element on which the retaining spring with the free end portion of at least one leg is releasably attached.
  • the mounting ring builds radially as small as possible to its central axis when the retaining lugs adjacent to a support surface of the mounting ring for a base flange of the lamp and the mounting ring between the retaining element for the retaining spring and the pivot bearing at least partially with its radially outwardly directed outer surface to the outer edge of the Base flange of the lamp adjacent runs.
  • the mounting ring protrudes beyond the outer edge of the base flange only with its retaining lugs, its projection having the bearing shell and the retaining elements for the retaining spring.
